Came across this restaurant while strolling around Glorietta.
The menu seemed interesting so I decided to give them a try. It's interesting how they allow you to build your own pasta, you will be asked to choose what shape/kind of pasta and sauce to serve you.
I picked the Spirals for my pasta and Arrabiata for the sauce. The serving size is perfect for what you're paying and the taste is spot on. The piece of bread on the side was soft enough to absorb the excess sauce once you're finished with your pasta.
Also ordered the Calamari Rings as my appetizer and the sizes of the rings are humongous.
The mbiance was slightly too much for the eyes, though. The decorations seems too much but their service was excellent.
All in all, my visit was pleasant and I assure you, I will be visiting again!
Ps. Love the fact that they played Westlife while I was there.
This place has been one of the few favorite places that me and my girlfriend love eat at after work. We started eating here around three years ago and have been going back every once in a while. We have tried their pizzas, mussels, calzones, different pastas, wings, sausages and salmon rice meals. The food that we have tried were mostly very good. The next thing that makes us go back are their crew. They are very nice and accommodating especially their manager - he is our favorite because he takes very good care of their customers and handles his crew nicely. We are always happy to eat here whenever we see their manager. We will absolutely visit again.
We recently tried Spaghetti Factory again. Our last visit to this resto was in 2013 but we were surprised the quality of food and service did not change.
We were well attended by the servers and the manager and the price of the food still remain cheaper than other Italian restaurants.
On our most recent visit, we tried out their Mafia style pasta. As described in the menu, the pasta got slices of Italian sausages and healthy tomato sauce with herb.
We opted for the promo version that’s good for two people. We were given a chance to choose the type of pasta we like. We loved how the menu describes each pasta, very educational!
The meal already comes with garlic breads. It’s truly affordable at less than 500.
We also ordered their classic cream of pumpkin placed on a bowl of bread.
For your needs, servers are always ready to provide service water and parmesan cheese as well as pepper.
We’ll definitely be back.
The Eatventurers
My friend introduced me this place but during the time, I was on a strict diet so now that I am not, I finally took the time to visit here and try their Pastas.
Ambiance - 4.0/5.0
Their spot may be small but it is usually jampacked with people but during my visit, I was able to sit and order. Also, the music they play is very lively and will invite you to eat.
Service - 4.0/5.0
The servers are pretty attentive and keen to details. They even try to suggest what should I try.
Food - 5.0/5.0
I ordered my favorite Pesto Pasta. I prefer the Pasta to be Linguine. The Pesto flavor is just perfect, the basil is not too strong, the oil is well balanced and the texture of crushed nuts is pretty good. They are also generous in Parmesan Cheese.
I should come back for the Aligue Pasta
Welcoming ambiance, friendly and approachable staffs, the pastas are cooked well *topped with mozzarella cheese if you want, also you can get to choose the type of pasta you want, overall great resto :)
Always a great time whenever we eat here. Must orders are Devil’s own pasta, aglio olio, and 5-cheese pizza.
Great food, great team, great place!
It’s like eating at your best friend’s restaurant!
Definitely our default place here in ayala center makati.
Pretty good place to go for your meals if you're on an average budget. The price is comparable to pizza chains.
There's a promo for meriendas that amount to just over 100php at 2:00-6:00PM (?). Taste is more than expected compared to other joints you find on mall food courts.
First, the service. Very satisfied. The attendants are very pleasant and welcoming. Just about perfect. Orders took not too long and they never fail to do get back to the customer whenever orders will take a little longer (as I have observed). Second, the food. Very authentic. For a fixed price, u can almost get a DIY pasta of your choice. Small place though but packs with excellent service and pastas. I love it here.
My foodie love for Spaghetti Factory (SF) goes way back, I would say estimated 20 years. Back in the day, I was a highschooler, and it was located along the 2nd floor corridor in between the Glorietta Activity Center and Quad 1/Glorietta 1. If you guys would remember, G1 used to be a cinema area. Yup... that was a long time ago.
Back then, the price was about half the price it is today. The place was smaller, and there was more pasta types that you could choose from, even my fave--bucatini.
Today, SF still keeps their core concept, which is picking a sauce with any pasta that they have. They might not have my beloved bucatini anymore, but they still have a good variety of pasta types to pick from. Even if the pasta types got less, their menu has expanded to more sauces, entrees, and desserts.
Over the years, I have gotten to like/love many of their dishes--and I do mean a lot. LOL! I even have certain personal customized tweaks that I like to make them better, and the head chef and manager knows those tweaks. I don't even have to read the menu, and just say what I want to the manager and they know exactly what I am talking about. Honestly, I really only look at the menu if I might want something besides any of my regular orders.
I even met the owner several times. I think he is German. Nice guy! One time there was a promo with free SF shirts, and I got 2 instead of 1. ☺👍 Him and his wife do come from time to time to check on things.
Okay, SF might not be truly 100% authentic Italian, but it is authentic enough. Certain things obviously have been adjusted for the Filipino palette, and I am all thumbs up 👍 for it. They really do serve great tasting food.
Factory Style Chicken Wings - I love my wings! These are some of the best wings in town. No, they cannot be compared to Buffalo wings as they are cooked differently. Trust me, a must try!
Caesar Salad - A good caesar salad is hard to find, especially one that stands out. This dressing is supposed to have anchovies in it. The premade factory ones aren't good and I don't think they put in real anchovies. You can taste it here in SF's. They blended it in the dressing. Anchovies has a distinct saltiness. Aside from that, the bacon bits are generous.
Onion Rings - They are lightly battered and nothing like other establishments. I don't know how they make the sweetness of the onions come out, but it does.
Devils Shrimps - Classic gambas. Can't go wrong.
Spicy Meat Sauce - One of my faves. I always ask them to rack it up really high in terms of spiciness. They know my level. It's high, and I love the burn!
Stroganoff - Corned beef and mustard. Classic combo.
Popeye's Secret - I love spinach. I even loved Popeye as a child. This veggie cream based sauce is anything but bland.
Seafood Blackout - If you are a fan of adobong pusit and isn't afraid of getting black teeth, this is for you.
Vongole - Classic clams and white wine sauce. Simple and perfect.
Norway's Pride - I love salmon and capers! A light cream sauce doesn't totally take away all the sourness, but actually blends everything, lightly coating the pasta.
Food: 5.0 - If I had 10 thumbs, I would give 10 thumbs up.
Price: 5.0 - The food is quite affordable and sizes are generous.
Service: 5.0 - Service is always good. I am still amazed Chef Chris remembers how I like my food, even if I don't eat here as much anymore.
Ambience: 4.0 - Interiors could use a revamp. But things feel familiar and cozy to me.
Missing SF. I must come back soon! 😜👍😁
