Love playing at this place..great staff, great food, very cool crowd..:-)
The service is great! Love their Manchego Cheese Paella and their chorizos! Look for Choco, he's the nicest guy there!
We ordered the Valentine’s Pair Deal (Set 2) & it was bless. Especially the Manchego Crusted Lapu-Lapu?? Bihh I will always get that here if I could. I have yet to return & show a friend that dish cuz that cheesy crust was fi-yer. Even the lil potato buddies that came plated w the fish was a lil ball of flavor! Mmm mmm mmm. Thank you for that, Tapella! The rest of the dishes were fine but didn’t blow my mind quite as much as the delish manchego fish dish mm mmm. Bless.
In a few days this restaurant will turn 10yrs and i still keep on coming back because of the good food. Chuleton is a must-order. For me, they serve the best paella’s, my faves are the manchego paella and paella negra. Best selection of tapas too such as pulpo ala gallega, lapu lapu pilpil, chistorra, huevos and squid calamari. The only concern is that greenbelt 5 needs a lift and renovation already, very poor air conditioning and water leaks here and there.
Super glad we were able to get the Valentine's Promo :) The paella was so good!!! The steak as well was superb. Will definitely go back here to taste more dishes! 💕
They say good food is best served with good company – but we also believe that good company is best when they are being served with great food. Good thing that Tapella Bar and Restaurant got it covered for us. Several of our favourite people in the planet – our fellow food bloggers, gathered to taste the delectable dishes that Tapella Bar and Restaurant has to offer. With a total of 13 dishes served, we have totally enjoyed a Spanish Feast for the gods.
Happy to see that the place is still open because it's been years since we ate here. I'd look forward getting the same good-tasting beef salpicado and seafood paella, but would also want to try the new ones -- paella negra and truffle pasta. For sure both will not fail our appetite. Let's see if it still beats Rambla.
Always enjoy eating here. Good service and excellent Paella’s. The place has a nice cozy feel and not pretentious like a lot of restos in Greenebelt.
Took my pinay date (who is now my wife) here a long time ago, and have dropped by a few times since. Fantastic little tapas bar with decent wine selection. Liked the food, wine selection, and service overall MUCH better than Barcino in Greenbelt.
Good: Tapas. Wine. Service.
Okay: nothing really.
Bad: Traffic to get to Greenbelt.
Good work, Chef. Highly recommended.
Had a great meal here. Amazing garlic shrimp followed by paella. Sangria to wash it down with. Very kind servers . Smallish interior but lots of seating outside
Take your palette to the Basque region of Spain and head over to Tapella Bar and Restaurant. It’s a modern Spanish restaurant nestled within the confines of Greenbelt 5.
Each dish served by Chef JP was thoroughly explained. He shared with us the origin of each of the dishes, his inspirations, and where he sourced them. Their flavors familiar to every Filipino palette, yet each dish is refined with the use of Spanish and French techniques and ingredients that the Basque country is known for.
Tapella is a great place for date nights, family lunches or a nightcap with the girls.
I have yet to travel to Europe. But if there’s one country that’s non-negotiable in my travel bucketlist, it would definitely be Spain. Why? Well, yes I’ve heard about all of its dramatic fortifications, glistening coastlines, and splendid architecture. What excites me more though is all the good food it has to offer: tapas, sangria, croquettas, etc. And luckily for us, there’s a good of restaurants offering the best of Spanish flair around Metro Manila. But let me tell you this. Nothing comes close to the authentic Spanish Feast from Tapella Bar and Restaurant. Read on to know why.
