We visited on a Saturday afternoon for dinner. Bacolod Chicken Inasal in Bel-Air is quite spacious and the furniture is really locally designed. We ordered Namit Meals: Lusog Meal, Sarap ng Buhay Meal and Mahabang Buhay Meal. These meals come with free ice tea drink, rice, and veggie dish. Lusog Meal is consist of grilled bangus belly, lutik vegetable, and turon. Sarap ng Buhay Meal is consist of grilled chicken, eggplant salad and buko pandan. Mahabang Buhay Meal is consist of grilled boneless bangus, ginataang langka and maja blanca. Among the desserts, I especially like maja blanca.

You can’t deny their distinct grilling of chicken and its flavors but this is the only restaurant I’ve that I’ve encountered the chicken not including rice as a set meal. So far their meals are super affordable and good but yeah, a little weird to separate the rice and charge another 20-30 pesos for it.
We visit this branch at least once a month. Having a boyfriend from Bacolod, I was introduced to Negrense cuisine so much so that the first restaurant I visited when I went to Bacolod was the Manokan Country. Teehee.
So far, everything I have tasted in Bacolod Chicken Inasal passed my standards. My other favorites, aside from the Paa Inasal are:
Hanggop
Pansit Molo
La Paz Batchoy
Laswa ni Lola
Sinigang na Salmon Belly
Bangus Sisig
Boneless Bangus
Longganisa Q
Garlic Sotanghon
Pansit Effuven
And so much more.
Bacolod Chicken Inasal is a definite go-to for comfort food and hungry tummies.
