Good, reliable, and homey food as always! This is the ideal alternative to fast food for overtime meals without spending a lot. Their sizzling tofu is always a must-have!

We had our tem building here and we ordered this huge halo-halo! I was thinking that this will taste bland since it's too big but I was wrong. It was rich, milky, creamy and delicious dessert that was enjoyed by many. Good job Max's! 😉
I'm planning to eat at every Max's in BGC. I'm kidding, these were totally incidental. Anyway, as usual their chicken and sizzling tofu hit the spot. I was satisfied and full. Oh and the service was nice.
It was our first time to dine here and we were glad that it was open for 24 hours.
Service was good despite the late hours (we dined past midnight already).
Fresh and Fried Lumpia were great.
Soup of the day which was Beef Cabbage was a bit more watery than usual and a bit sour because of the cabbage so I was not happy but the hubby was ok with it so he finished it up for me instead.
Chicken Sisig has more celery and onions but amazingly, for someone (me) who’s not a fan of both onions and celery, the mixture went so well with the mayo, chicken and chicken liver.
Crispy Pata was great, I could go without the garlic bits though.
..meh rating not because of the food but because of the appalling and irritating service a waiter has shown. we called in to advise of a forecasted 12pax table reservation for lunch, ended up that the final head count was 14pax so i asked the waiter to 'please' get another placemat and utensils for just one more and his response was ' bakit, ilan po ba?!' with that smug on face that i'd like to wipe off with a FLAIL! so i returned the bitchiness by saying 'i just need one, IS THERE A PROBLEM?!' he turned to get my request but he did NOT seem happy to serve it, AT ALL! he should not be in customer service if he cannot at least do good w/ his job.
Max's is a usual go-to restaurant when I crave for fried chicken, that's relatively cost-efficient. Did you know though that they also serve budget-friendly clubhouse sandwich? 😊
Had this sandwich one dinner time, while my friend ordered their Budget Meal. This meal consisted of a perfectly cooked quarter of a chicken, macaroni salad, rice, a caramel bar for dessert, plus iced tea. Very filling, and not bad for around PHP200.
Service was just fine--not too personal, not cold either. This branch is not one of the best, but overall experience was satisfactory enough.

Good old, reliable Max's!
When tired of our regular cafeteria food or when we want something special to eat, we would usually head out to Max's. I'm not so much of a chicken fan but I love their fried chicken -- skin is cooked just right while the meat is not to oily/fatty. They have a way of seasoning and cooking their chicken so that it comes out really flavorful and not needing much sauces or gravy. Max's chicken is, in fact, best eaten with banana ketchup only to enhance the taste a bit while keeping its flavors intact. Worth trying also are Max's kare-kare and crispy pata, both of which are, as people say, sinfully good. Plus, they have comfortable seats!
This is my favorite Max's Restaurant branch because it is less crowded, quieter, and cleaner. They have polite waiters, too. Their famous fried chicken is really sarap-to-the-bone. Just add a bit of banana ketchup to it. We always have the pancit canton, fresh lumpiang ubod, and bottomless sago't gulaman.

Sarap to the bones, be it their signature fried chicken, crispy pata or daing na bangus (milkfish). The perfect Pinoy dishes are served here for casual dining, which is great for the family and friends. 😋
A week does not pass that I do not have lunch here. For 250 pesos you'll get half spring chicken and fried rice. The half chicken serving is more than enough to satiate your fried chicken cravings.
