Puzzles has updated their menu with a more affordable price point. Ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, chicken tenders in garlic parmesan and the bacon burger. I can't recall the actual serving sizes but with the price adjustment, it is commensurate to the cost. I just wish i didn't need to add an additional 35pesos for a side of chips. The chicken tenders was a little bland if not for the ketchup that came with my burger. The spaghetti was good, light sauce but very flavorful. The service can still be good for sharing. All three items costs a little over 500pesos which is already a good deal. Recommended.
Puzzles is a café/restaurant with fun board games to make your dining experience interactive. This was not my first time as I already tried other restaurants with the same theme. But with Puzzles, I like that it’s cozier and chill than the others I’ve tried. You can play any board games and if by chance you needed someone to explain the mechanics, you may call their Game Master who willingly can assist you on how to play.

Flatbread is a bread made with flour, water and salt, and then thoroughly rolled into flattened dough.

I was invited by Ojie Domingues to try Puzzles in BGC which is located in the vicinity of the Fort Strip. Puzzles Board Game Cafe and Lounge is not that that big but at least it can accommodate at least 30 customers. My favorites were Mushroom Rice Bacon and Egg, I like the flavor of the bacon dipped with some honey, it complement with the mushroom rice and egg. And I like the Beer-Battered Fish and Chips also. It was crispy and tender inside. The sauces were good too. Definitely, I will be again for these 2 dishes.
Overall, we had an amazing day playing some of our favorite board games while having our lunch. The staff provided excellent service too.

We went here with this was fairly new, brought my son and his cousins for game night. I never wrote about it, mostly because I didn't like giving low ratings. While we had fun there, the food was a big disappointment for us that we never considered to come back, nor recommend it to people, even skipping a few invites from friends, but mostly because I had something else better to do.
We came by a few weeks ago on an invite by Puzzles. I walked in to see the familiar floor to ceiling wall of games boxes. This is a really large space, with extra seating in a decent sized mezzanine. Mostly with tables and chairs, they have a small floor area with bean bags and low tables for an even more laid back experience.
I was definitely happy to see they’d revamped their menu. The owners mentioned that when they moved in to BGC, they only offered simple food similar to what they had in their original BF branch. We were served a lot of food, it was nice to see well plated dishes come out. Of course I had to tell them I am so glad they updated their food option. And I can tell you that while the food isn’t revolutionary, its very likeable and I found a few favourites I will order on a future visit.

This is a huge order for the price. I love the flaky coating. Looked similar to the fish & chips (which I wasn’t able to try because I thought it was chicken 😭)

Di lang dinosaur, Godzilla haha. Its a mega mug of a sweetened malt drink.
I find the pricing reasonable and the portions generous. The most popular games are worn out, but for a mere 100 pesos per person for unlimited play, in an air-conditioned space in BGC, I can overlook that as long as the game is still complete. It can be noisy here when its full and depending on the gamers present. While Puzzles loves it when their customers have fun, just be mindful when you’re too loud.
So, going back to my back story about my first experience here, will I now reconsider coming back? Yes.
Puzzles Board Game Cafe and Lounge is a perfect place for barkada to play board games and card games while feasting on their wide variety of delicious dishes. I personally like the Monte Cristo (french toast sandwich), Grilled Cajun Pork (rice meal) and the Cheesy Chicken Carbonara! 😋😋😋 Though, their dishes are expensive, it would definitely worth it due to the very nice and spacey interior, good food, and 270+ games to play including really expensive ones.

Pumunta kami sa Puzzles mga 1-2pm on a weekday, and walang customers besides us. Siguro kasi katatapos lang ng holy week. But anyways, super nice ng place.
Food:
I'm with my friends/classmates kaya student budget lang kami so we do the student way: hati sa pagkain, hati sa bayad. We ordered yung pinakamurang fries lol and flatbread cheese. Yung sa pasta sa isa ko nang kaibigan yon, nakipicture lang ako. Medyo pricey pero understandable naman since cafe type sya hello???
Service:
Ang alam lang namin laruin is yung Jenga tapos gumawa gawa nalang kami ng sarili namin laro lol. Then may lumapit na crew and ask us if gusto namin na tulungan kami sa games, tapos ininstruct nya kami. So nice, so nice. Hindi pa ako nakakakita ng ganyang crew, so it's a big YES for me, pasok na sila sa grand finals.
**All in all, super nice. Although yung games mukang medyo pinanggigilan na ng mga gamers. Siguro tuwing intense yung game, yung mga Uno kind of game ba. Kaya guys, mejo handle with care naman tayo. Kahit mejo lang.**

They have a variety of board games that are perfectly match with great food. The Fried Chicken and Cheese Pasta is an easy favorite. With the crunchy, tasty, and large chunk of boneless chicken on top of pasta sprinkled with cheese, the combination of flavors are truly savory (P290 serves one). If you're a fan of burgers, the Cheesy Mushroom Bacon Burger is the top pick. The french fries as side is already one reason for the price worth its value (P350 serves one). If you're looking for food to share, the Bacon and Egg Flat Bread is highly recommended. You just have to fight for the egg yolk or split it equally (serves 3-4).
