We gotta find somewhere to eat for our team's lunch-out. At first we were hesitant because most of them want to have a rice meal but Yellow Cab doesn't offer rice meals before. There was a long line at Frankies so we decided to dine here instead, we ordered pizza and their lunch meal. We we're full and satisfied with what we ate.
It's one of the rather dependable 24/7 food joints within the vicinity, and not just all talk, but also puts the work in it. We can order anything, at practially anytime, and for that visit, we availed the promo for their new Five Boroughs Pizza, and took The Bronx, for only Php 1.00! Steal! 😀
If you're not sure whether to order pizza, pasta or chicken. Don't you worry, Yellow Cab offers MyMix which has all three for only 195 pesos. You have different flavors to choose from each kind. This satisfies all my cravings!
I’m not the biggest fan of their pizzas but the pastas I like. I’d usually go for the Charlie Chan with an add on of shrimps if I’m in an Asian mood, or go for Chicken Alfredo and request for more fresh basil, generously topped with chili flakes.
It used to be difficult to dine in Yellow Cab alone because it wasn’t solo diner friendly but now they have the MyStuff box which gives you a portion of chicken, pasta and pizza in one order :-)
Dessert in-house too with their selection of their own ice cream. Probably the only strawberry ice cream that I like! 🍓
The staff in this branch are very welcoming!
I am not sure if all yellow cab outlets offer the solo meal treats. It's awesome! Yes, a lot of carbs but you get all the goodness for a single serving. We are used to ordering for groups in yellow cab and this is a great addition to their menu especially if you like having small portions of their awesome food.
One of the best pizza joint . Delivers anytime and in less than 30 min . Taste and toppings have a wide variety. Price is bit costlier. Offers are generally not applicable for selected pizzas which is drawback.
I have always liked Yellow Cab pizza but lately I've grown tired of it. Probably because it's the go-to pizza during occassions. Anyway, we went here after our fun run. We all had a MySize each and chose the most interesting combination on the list - Bacon, Mango, and Egg. I didn't expect it to look the way it is and my friends did not expect it to fill their stomachs. Wrong! All of us could not finish the other half and had to take it home. The taste is unique and the ingredients blended well for me. Mangoes were a little bit too sweet but that's just me. I'd eat this again!
My top 4 favorites here are:
1. Manhattan meat lovers.
2. Pepperoni especially on fridays since they double the pepperoni toppings.
3. Hawaian - which is the great balance in taste. - Best is to mix Pepperoni and mushroom with Hawaian. See photo in review.
4. Pepperoni and mushroom.
The pizza in general is salty. That is why I like to add pineapple to the mix to balance it out.
4 cheese pizza, pasta alfredo and ice tea. These are my comfort foods every time I go to this place after a hard day's work. What's good about this place is that it is open 24 hours. Being a trainer at a call center where my hours are all over the place requires a twenty four hour place for my cravings. And this definitely fits the bill!
Yellow Cab hosted a ton of memories from my high school and college days. Used to be that we enjoyed calzones, NY style, and the Manhattan Meat Lovers pizzas.
But since the franchise was bought out, seems like they've been creating newer recipes for their Pizzas. It's hit or miss.
Apart from the comfort food that is Yellow Cab's pizza, they offer spicy dishes that hit the spot. Please try the Kung Pao spaghetti and their spicy wings!
Some branches have ice cream too by the way ;)
