This is probably a place that serves one of the best kansi's I've tasted. Their kansi's soup is rich and savory in a comforting way. Its beef was tender and simply yummy.
We also ordered laswa, KBL, fish (bangus I think), sisig fried rice, halo-halo, leche flan, and mais con yelo.
The laswa was really good. The KBL was quite a different experience from the KBL I know, but still good. The sisig rice was okay, but it didn't ring much as sisig rice. It seemed like just another fried rice. I'm not a fish person, but my friend said it was good.
As for the desserts, I only had the halo-halo while my friends had the others. The halo-halo wad appetizing upon serving, but it actually tasted like it lacked something. It lacks an mmmph factor I can't exactly point out.
Overall, it's a good place for a comforting Ilonggo food. I would recommend this for others to try! The kansi is a must try here!
The food is excellent. I love their chicken inasal. The service is also good and the staff are very friendly. Will surely go back
Ilonggo Food Company 💕❤️ | Battle of Broth based dishes from Ilo-Ilo 💕 They are known for their Batchoy primarily, also with Kansi that uses Batuan as it's souring agent and Atsuete for the orangey red broth. And the Linagpang which is basically sour also but with that burnt taste because the chicken and veggies were grilled first which adds to its unique taste and texture 😋❤️😍 x Espresso by Kuppa roastery and cafe 💕☕ on the side and Pinoy Desserts
