I love their Agedashi Tofu (P160) and Chicken Thigh Yakitori (P60/pc)! I also tried the Shrimp Tempura Roll (P220) and Tori Teri Don (P245) - I wasn't too happy with the rice bowl. Food is good and affordable! Food: 3.5/5 | Value for Money: 4/5 | Ambiance: 4/5
Good food, good ambiance. Part of dining area was full of kitchen materials and ingredients.
For full disclosure, my sister is part of the company that runs this restaurant and that is not why I’m giving 5 stars. I like the atmosphere, the food, and the experience.
I had the unagi bento box. At first impression, it seems small. But as you eat your way from the miso soup, to the main course, to the tofu, to the salad, you realize just how filling it is. Paired with beer, it’s a toast to the weekend!

We're trying the different Japanese restaurants in our area. We decided to try this place because it was not crowded with people (2pm on a rainy Sunday). We liked the taste of the food here, but the price of some of the food were not really justified by the serving size. The staff was nice and attentive. Overall, we enjoyed eating here.
Firstly located in accessible Greenhills,San Juan Area. Service crew very efficient and friendly. Wide array of food choices in their menu lineup. The kamameshi rice is a must try comes in seafood, chicken, beef variants. Their sushi, sashimi are good. Price wise reasonable enough. Great japanese ambiance
I stumbled upon this restaurant and I was intrigued by their exterior. The interior is pretty as well, spacious and casual but definitely has the Japanese vibe.
The food are all good, traditional Japanese food. The Spicy Tuna Salad is worth mentioning and a must order for me. Also, do not forget to order their specialty, Kamameshi.
Their yakisoba is full of toppings that somehow I felt that the noodles were 'bitin'
They also have live seafood at the side of the restaurant which is quite rare for a Japanese restaurant.
I would definitely return here and try their live seafood.
Eaten here a few times, there's a lunch buffet available. But sashimi is not included, otherwise it's ok. The food is top quality and it's an enjoyable comfortable place to eat and relax.
I really enjoyed the food here in Kamameshi Town Honten. First of all, you would instantly be intrigued by its exteriors. When you go inside the restaurant, the aesthetics and the interiors will make you feel you are in Japan. The service is good, and the place is huge. Must try when you visit Greenhills.
Just recently we visited Kamameshi Town Honten, have seen some ads along the way, got curious so me and my family went there. It's located beside Gloria Maris, from the outside, the restaurant looks so inviting with all those lights situated in the main dining area. We were able to get a table for 10 in the area where they prepare their "rice kettle" it's their Kamameshi (their specialty in the menu}, tried the Buta and Gyu...and they're soooooo yummy and flavorful. Order the Japanese classics, Tempura, Tonkatsu and their Gyoza...they're all presented nicely and the taste is delicious. This is "legit" Japanese dishes. On its prices, I can say that their menu is affordable. I strongly recommend this restaurant. It's in Greenhills by the way.
I recently dined in JapanFudo in Vertis North and I observed that the feel of the ambiance is very similar. Upon checking the menu, the price points is almost the same and even the plating shares the same look. I confirmed that the two is part of i Foods Group including Ichiba Japanese Market in Resortsworld.
The setting is really esteemed. There are salient points on food. The takoyaki is overcooked, ramen is ordinarily prepared, and the spicy salmon maki is not at all spicy. There is nothing special on the broth of the ramen soup. The price points can be reasonable though. The commendable ones are Tempura, fresh salmon sashimi and yakitori. Service is also efficient. As a mother’s day treat, they serve a free dessert for customers that reaches Php1500 food orders.
