Had sunday breakfast with the in-laws. Their breakfast buffet is priced reasonably. There's quite a few filipino faves here. Bangus, dilis, omelette, crispy bacon, garlic rice, lemon chicken, corned beef, champorado, taho. The alfredo is creamy and delish. The staff are really friendly. Its a great breakfast place. Would really love to come back for more!
Another favorite in the neighborhood! If you're craving for Filipino food with a twist, Alta is a must. They have huge servings perfect for big groups. I love their crispy pata, especially their sauce. Their paella is delicious, too. And oh, they have 2 + 2 on drinks. We also enjoyed their watermelon shake and their cafe mocha. 😊
Located at the exquisite Rockwell’s Santolan Town Plaza, Alta by Relik was born from a relatively old restaurant from BGC – Relik. Alta, as the name implies, aims to provide anything above the ordinary. With Filipino foods as their main offering, Alta is here to warm our delicate hearts.
📌 I was awed with my dining experience here, for they serve fine dining dishes of Filipino Spanish fusion that will match everyone's preference and craving.
📌 My favorite is their paella that has distinct flavor that makes you wanting more, so seafood loaded, with shrimps, mussels and squid
📌 Another thing that caught my attention is their idea to customize the sourness of Bagnet Sinigang through Asim Meter, wherein you can set it to asim, asimer and asimest.
📌 They also serve pares with a twist aside from beef tendon they mix it with lamb.
📌 Their sizzling bulalo is also a hit, for being tender.
📌 For their dessert I like their Milo dinosaur cheesecake that is not too sweet
📌 It's a posh destination with murals making it IG worthy and a cool place to hangout with families, workmates and friends
📌 They also serve breakfast buffet at an affordable price
📌Plus, you can also chill out here for they serve alcoholic beverages and have live bands and dj nights.
📌 #ChryzhFoodies 🆑 highly recommend It 👍👍👍
Service was okay. I like the murals + quotations listed on the wall.
This rainy reason, we got to try some of ALTA's newest dishes. First, we tried their version of Sinigang, the Asimest (Bagnet Sinigang). You can even adjust how sour the soup is depending on your liking. I'm not a chef, but for me, it's not the asim-est but the tamarind soup tastes good. The Bagnet was crispy and tender as well.
The Sizzling Bulalo was flavorful as well. Thanks to the gravy that's smothered in this dish.
They also have Lamb Pares. It was sweet and has a garlicky taste as well. Considering they used Lamb, it doesn't have that strong fishy aftertaste.
Their Nachos was meaty and cheesy as well. I like it.
For a sweet ending, I love the Milo Dinosaur Cheesecake. I love the richness of the choco-flavored cheesecake. It's worth ordering and trying here.

Weekend brunches have grown popular lately, with many establishments offering hearty comfort dishes that can be leisurely enjoyed by diners. At ALTA by Relik at Santolan Town Plaza, families can enjoy the flavorful comfort food amidst vibrant and colorful surroundings. The restaurant is an offshoot of the popular BGC restaurant Relik. Restaurant owner Gen Mortel and Chef Jam Laboriente collaborated on a Filipino-Spanish menu to provide an elevated dining experience to San Juan’s foodies.
Staff are great!! Very very good service but food needs improvement. I liked my roast beef order but other than that I felt the brownie too spongy and the sisig too big pieces of pig ear.
Celebrated Mother's Day here without the usual waiting and long lines. They offer their own version of crispy Pata and kare2 which lives up to your expectations. Staff are warm and friendly which makes the dining experience here worthwhile.
I keep coming back to this place for the food and ambience.
Using zomato gold in this place is such a bonus!
Food is really really delicious, and the staff here are nice and professional.
The restaurant’s location is exposed to the sun. As it is summer, it was very hot outside, but the restaurant’s aircon was quite sufficient in cooling our group. Food was pricey but filling and savory. It reminds one of home cooked meals.
Love the food and ambiance here! Price is just right. Must try: bacon cheeseburger, chili garlic shrimp pasta. The chorisig was super oily though.
This is my new favorite place in zomato gold yet. I super love the slow roast pork belly (although it’s fatty but it’s really good), salmon in cream caper sauce and the salmon belly sisig (i like this better than the chorizig). The bagnet kare kare was okay for me. Definitely coming back to try their other dishes 👍
Been here a few times already and I feel that this place is a hit or miss. Food is okay, but some days better than others. We always get the BBQ chicken which has a generous portion of 2 chicken quarters.
Personally prefer to dine at lunch than dinner because it’s a bar also so it can get noisy with music at night.
Everyone must visit this place. Food n service was great. We came to eat here bec its on the zomato gold list n we were not disappointed at all.. we ordered bagnet kare kare which was not included with the zomato gold promo but it was crunchy n yummy. Salmon with capers cooked just right. Scallops with cheese was very very good. Chix bbq which my company said was good.
Would defenitely come back.
Loved the ambiance. Steak was juicy. Salad was fresh. Fish and chips were lapu lapu instead of cream dory. Good plus. New place. Food was good. Nothing amazing, but worth the price. Will come back again soon.
Visited this place after watching a UAAP match. This is a good casual dining restaurant that serves moderately-priced food in a casual atmosphere. Service was also fast despite it being full house. Their salmon flat bread is a must try!

Food tastes good and the servers are very attentive and patient. Quantity-wise, I wish it would be more considering the price-range and the note that says 'good for sharing'. The live band is also a plus for me.
Love their slow roasted beef and their garlic rice. Service was excellent! They were vigilant with our needs. Didn’t need to raise my hand to ask for water. Hehe.
Ordered the salmon with creamy caper sauce, salmon was perfectly cooked! Skin was crispy and the meat was not overcooked slightly pink but not raw which is how i like my salmon. The orange slices on top of the fish adds a refreshing note to a creamy dish. The mac n cheese was good, would’ve wanted a bit more cheese in the dish as it tasted more like pasta alfredo. The roast beef was tender but the mashed potato was a little salty.Servers were courteous and prompt. Overall a nice dining experience.
It was our first time to try Alta by Relik, we opted to go for the Oven Baked Chicken and their Bbq Baby Back Ribs was really good. The chicken was cooked through, the meat was flavorful. Service size is quite big too. For the BBQ ribs it was tender and juicy. We also appreciate that there were options for us to change the mash potato to rice, bagoong rice or garlic rice.
The place is quiet cozy. Given that they serve beer and liquor, the place can get a bit noisy. With good food, it's a good place to bring the family.
There is street parking plus more parking inside. I did street parking, which is free if you show the guard a receipt of your purchases for the day plus it was on an early Sunday morning, so I'm not sure if it holds true throughout the day on a weekday.
The place is clean and they have several flat screen TVs. They have a breakfast menu and breakfast items come with free coffee which you can substitute with tea or iced tea. The lunch and dinner menu is already available early in the morning. The manager was very attentive and accommodating. You don't have to wait too long for your orders to start coming out of the kitchen. I have no complaints with the food. Check out the pictures I took of our orders. The only problem we encountered was with the pancakes though I didn't take a picture of. It was undercooked and the batter was oozing when I cut through it. At first I even thought it was cream cheese or custard, but after a taste, we called the manager's attention. He quickly apologized and sent the plate back to the kitchen. He had it replaced with a new one. That's a plus plus in my book on customer service. My mom really loved the Beef Tapa too and she almost finished the whole plate which never happens often. We're definitely going back to sample more food. 😁 👍
Nice ambiance, good food, and accommodating staff. Food was value for money, the serving is really big. Although took quite a long time before food were served
Try their crispy bagnet kare-kare! We ended up ordering one more because it is that gooood! Ambiance is really nice as well. I would definitely come back.
We had the salmon belly sisig and the crispy bagnet kare-kare.
Salmon belly sisig - really good! Very flavorful and seasoned well. But serving size was a bit smaller than I expected. There were more tortilla chips than the actual sisig.
Bagnet kare-kare - Super crunchy! Goes really well with the bagoong rice it was served with. Could have used a bit more sauce though.
Loved the ambiance. The staff were friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely eat here again soon and try more of their dishes.
Relik’s spin-off restaurant called Alta by Relik is the newest hang out place located at Santolan Town Center in San Juan.
The restaurant has a nice set-up with cozy and modern interiorthat jive to the set up/ theme of the mall.
We have the following during our visit:
🐷Relik’s Nachos for Php298.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
🐷Bacon Mac and Cheese for Php335.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🐷Oven Baked Barbeque Chicken for Php475.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🐷Crispy Bagnet Kare-kare for Php475.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🐷Chicken Tocino for Php275.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
🐷Molten S’more Lava Cake for Php195.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5
🐷Milo Dinosaur Cheesecake for Php189.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
All the dishes served were good and tasty especially the nachos and kare-kare. But I find some of the dishes were pricey though. They need to improve the quality of the S’mores, it was served dry.
Overall, I had a good lunch and the staff provided excellent service.
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
This is my second visit to this restaurant. I still remember how scrumptious their CRISPY BAGNET KARE KARE P475 was and how the sauce tasted home-made.
Other noteworthy dishes were their RELIKS NACHOS P298 with their own spin on the tortillas and ground meat. Their OVEN BAKED BBQ CHICKEN P475 with two juicy leg quarters served with mash potato and salad.
Today we ordered for take out all 3 items plus a new highly recommended dish - SLOW ROAST BEEF BELLY P425, for dinner tonight.
Can not wait for the piggery to taste all of it 😋😋😋❤️
This place was owned by a friend of my boyfriend and so we wanted to give it a try. It's in this new mall called Santolan Town Plaza in San Juan. It had a very nice ambiance but very few establishments were open.
Anyway, the restaurant had a nice vibe since there was a live band when we visited. We had Mushroom Soup, Beef Salpicao, Chorizig, and Salisbury Steak. The first three dishes were okay but what we liked best was the Salisbury Steak best since it had a tasty marinade and the meat was very tender. Too bad I wasn't able to take photo of the dish!
Overall, the experience was nice with the ambiance, food, and the friendly staff. Definitely a go-to for after work dinner and drinks!
Dishes that are too good to forget!
Product: ALTA by Relik is a sister restaurant of the restaurant, Relik located in BGC. ALTA gives a more at home or comfortable dining place for families and a casual group of friends who just want to hang out. The food is still just as good.
I easily gave them a 5.0 because not one dish we had that day disappointed me. Each of them gave a distinct and a "wow factor" that will just make you want to come back for more.
Let's start with their Relik's Nachos (Php 298.00): those nachos, man. I'm so happy they included this on their menu. Hands down, this became my all-time favorite nacho. Literally.. my stomach just grumbled as I type this. You won't be able to get those nacho chips anywhere else and trust me, even the chips alone are too good to be true. Just make sure you order this when you pay them or Relik a visit.
There's the Bacon Mac and Cheese (Php 335.00): it is good enough to satisfy one person but if you're gonna order lots of dishes, it will be good for sharing and a great side dish. It is already cheesy enough as it is yet it's still topped with melty cheese. You can't get any cheesier than that. Even the garlic bread was good.
You can also order from their all-day breakfast menu selection, we had the Chicken Tocino (Php 275.00): which came with two pieces of sunny side egg (combined), a cup of garlic rice, and some atsuete. The tocino itself tasted garlicky and sweet. They tasted even better when combined with some vinegar sauce.
Oven-Baked BBQ Chicken (Php 475.00): two pieces of quarter chicken. It looked so attractive as it arrived on our table. It was juicy and the meat was cooked well that you can taste the marinade in each bite.
They also have the Crispy Bagnet Kare-kare (Php 475.00): which is already a winner just based on its title. The bagnet was indeed crispy but it wasn't tough to chew and slice which says a lot about how well it was cooked. If you want more kare-kare sauce, you can ask for more.
Let's go to their desserts which are also a must order. You don't have to go to another place for sweets, just order one of theirs. Especially the Milo Dinosaur Cheesecake (Php 189.00): I mean, you can share but once you have that first bite- it's possible sharing might not be an option anymore. I know you know milo dinosaur milkshakes, but this is just so much better. The cheese, the chocolate, and the crust at the bottom, just heaven.
You can also try their Molten Smore's Lava Cake (Php 195.00): which is a cake version of your favorite bonfire themed snack. This will be a sure hit for the kids.
Venue: Although ALTA by Relik has just opened at Santolan Town Plaza which is also just opening up new shops and restaurants in the area, I'm sure they will be a big hit and I hope they will be because it will such a shame for more people not to taste the food they offer. I think the place turns into a mini night out place during the weekends. They would hire bands or music acts and put up a stage near the bar. I didn't get to interact much with the staff but the service was very prompt.
Alta serves good comfort food. There are very few places that I can eat at with my picky eaters but at Alta, I get to have a great meal without the usual complaints of my kids not liking grown up food. Try the buttermilk chicken for the kids and the crispy bagnet kare-kare for the adults. The bacon potato soup also has also become my must order appetizer, along with the Relik’s chopped salad.
Mia and I shared a breakfast dish for dinner via their sweet and savory version of Chicken Tocino. It wasn’t possible at first, but their impeccable service gave in to our craving.
Alta serves you an array of cuisines of Filipino, American and other Asian favorites. They are brought to you by Relik, a chill bar in Bonifacio Global City. They are currently one of the few opened shops in newly opened Santolan Town Plaza, San Juan.
For our main dish of the night, we loved the tender, fall of the bone, Barbecue Baby Back Ribs Plate. Its flavorful hickory sauce blended well to all sides of the meat. This came with really creamy mashed potato, caesar coleslaw and cajun corn.
We also had their Relik’s Chopped Salad to balance our meal that night. This refreshing plate had mixed greens mixed with chicken barbecue and tangy bell pepper corn relish in cilantro yogurt dressing.
A sweet ending was what we had with value for buck, Banana Caramel Pie ala Mode. This dessert, priced only at Php 135, had delectable pieces of banana caramel mixture in pie crust topped with lightly sweetened vanilla ice cream.
Alta means high in english. We came in here with high expectations, and they even exceeded that.
Lunch dates are rare for us, as we usually take lunch with our respective classes (as some of you may not know, yes, we were both teachers). So whenever we have to opportunity to go out for lunch, we make sure that we really get to enjoy the time together and of course, the food! A few weeks back, after dealing with our year end clearances at work, we went to a restaurant near our work place. Since we knew that we were having a lunch date, we didn’t eat much for breakfast to prepare our tummies (haha!) Some of you may be familiar with Relik located at BGC, and the restaurant where we went to is managed by the same group. Join us in this edition of EATSplorations, as we share about our Alta by Relik-Santolan Town Plaza EATSperience. Enjoy!
Dined in today during their soft opening. Great food. Nice ambiance, spacious. Service is good - friendly staff and it’s really nice that they give chocolate to the kid. Please take note to bring cash as they don’t accept cards yet.
the portions are good for sharing. My family and I ordered the ff:
1. Nachos- Good stuff and I liked that it wasn't spicy.
2. Grilled Chicken Pesto- great definitely better than other restaurants.
3. Rosemary Chicken with Garlic Pasta- I love this. The chicken was well cooked and the skin was the right amount of crispy. The Garlic Pasta was okay.
4. Deconstructed Bagnet Kare-Kare- super sarap and the best thing we ordered.
The staff were all very attentive and kind.
Great Ambience, Great Food, as expected of the area its a great place to hangout. Love it and highly recommended. Hope to see everyone there because I will go back.
