The food park evolution has not taken a backseat just yet despite it soaring in popularity. Even if most of this concept is found in Quezon City, there seems to be room for more growth.

The Blocks is a relatively small sized food park but it compensates on a good spread of cuisine and an add on of play like arcade while you eat.

Me and my friends recently got to feast here at Heat Stroke Grill, a haven for healthier protein options. They serve most of their items grilled, giving it a smokey flavor and lesser grease.

If you are coming in a group, whether a family or barkada, I suggest the All In Platter. It gives quite a punch of variety and taste. It has a whole slab of baby back ribs, strips of liempo and two slices of their well-seasoned grilled chicken. This also comes with corn and accompanied by a spread of three sauces of chimichuri, harissa and teriyaki.

For all at just Php 160 each, our table also had Grilled Pork Belly Binagoongan which would need lots of rice to enjoy; not so oily Grilled Pork Sisig; fresh Scallops, spiced Grilled Pork Kilawin and a healthy colorful stick of Chicken Kebab.

For a appetizing kick off, before you have all of these, you may want to try as well their Grilled HSG Chicken Salad like we did. It’s quite a fun bowl folks! It has cubes of cheese, black olives and bell peppers too.
