Food and drinks A ok! Cozy at first but when the band plays di na kami nagkarinigan ng mga kasama ko. I suggest something acoustic laid back or the PA system lang.. para mag complement sa ambiance...service is good! Just ask the person drinking kung gusto na nya pabukas yung drinks nya...
Perfect place for individuals like me...ambiance is great..music makes me set a drift on a memory bliss..SALUTE !!!
Good food, reasonable rates and cool place. Packo’s is the place to be when one wants to be entertained. It is essentially a resto bar, where a live band performs at 9pm. We ordered their pork binagoongan and it was damn good. The pork was fried to a crisp and doused in sweet spicy bagoong sauce. We also had fried tilapia which was quite big for the price we paid for. However, I believe their house salad could do with some changes. The use of greenleaf lettuce destroys the quality of the salad. Moreover, it has to have a bit more of substance— toppings, meat chunks, whatever they can put in. Overall though, I would be hanging out in Packo’s and would probably be bringing some friends over
Packo's is one old time restobar that has withstood the test of time and fads. It remains to be a favorite hangout spot for families and friends for lunch, dinner, and drinks.
This is the first time I returned since it was renovated. The place is now more spacious and cozy. A huge bar is in the main dining area. A number of tables for small to big groups are available in the al fresco area, main dining, couch corner, elevated platform, and function areas.
Lights and sounds were excellent, completing the unwinding ambiance. There are several flat screen tvs where music videos play, sometimes, a live feed of your favorite sports game is also on. For this night, a live band performed.
Food: mostly Filipino cuisine, fairly priced, generous serving, quality taste
Service: fast and efficient
Overall: Definitely a place to visit again and again.
With the recommendation from my grade school classmate, we held our reunion at Packo's one Saturday night.
It's along Sgt. Esguerra so even if we were first-timers, we didn't have a hard time locating the place.
I was quite surprised because my expectations of the place were exceeded. The ambiance is really nice. My friend was able to make a reservation so we got a good spot - tables with a couch area, slightly away from the clusters of table but near the band's area and restroom.
We had a great time there. When the band was playing, we enjoyed the music while indulging in the restaurant's delicious dishes. In between the band's breaks, my classmates and I were able to talk, reminisce, and enjoy each other's company.
Food is reasonably priced and really good. It was like we were having a food trip because we tried quite a few dishes:
Angus roast beef belly - the beef belly literally melts in your mouth
Cheese stick - big serving, crispy, and had lots of cheese
Boneless crispy tadyang - complements beer really well
Pork sisig - another dish that we paired with beer
Boneless chicken bbq - big serving, tender and tasteful chicken
Club sandwich with french fries - this is what I and my boyfriend ordered while waiting for our classmates.
The place is quite big. It has an indoor and outdoor dining areas. It also has a function room which can accommodate up to 50 persons. It is an ideal place for meetings, reunions, birthday celebrations, and other gatherings.
