How many grams of Cebu Lechon can you have in one sitting? Rico’s Lechon is now accepting deliveries, and chosen products also available in various Supermarket nationwide.
On top of the tasty Lechon, I also got the Lechon Sisig, Dinuguan and Lechon Paksiw.
If you don't mind splurging a little, then you can go here and taste their signature lechon. It goes best with their vinegar. Service was fast and good
The funny thing about Rico's Lechon is that I prefer the other items on their menu. Their lechon is waaay too salty and I've never ordered a serving with crispy skin. I've read some reviews that they found the skin crispy, but I've tried their lechon dining in, for takeout, and through Grabfood and I've never been served the crispy balat 😂 They always came gummy so I assumed that's how it is.
However, what I do love are the lechon sisig (yum with the peppers), lechon paksiw (you get to choose which style), crispy chicken skin (whenever it's available), chopsuey, and adobong kang kong! Those stand out and are sulit enough for me to rate them 4 stars 😊
The first time we tried Rico's Lechon was in Cebu. We enjoyed it then and we enjoyed it now in the UP Town Center branch. Though not the best lechon in the country, theirs was tasty and this time my husband commended them for having sarsa available since they didn't in their Cebu branch.
👍Their place was spaceous with just the right spaces between the tables so it didn't look crowded
👍Food was cooked perfectly although I would've prefered their chicharon bulaklak to be a little more golden-brown to add more crisp to it but that's just a personal preference
👍Service was good. The servers weren't hard to call for requests and the serving time took only about 15 minutes but take note that we dined there at around 3pm so there were only a few people
👍The place was clean. Their bathroom was well-kept and smelled nice.
👎Price is a little above what I consider affordable.
👎That being said, they could be a little more gracious with their serving amount
Other than that, I would recommend this place for family eat-outs.
The hallmark of any Cebu lechon is in the way that it is prepared. The herbs and the spices (not the sarsa) bring out the best flavors, appropriate for important celebrations. Rico's Lechon succeeds in that as well as in stepping up any meal or occasion, celebration or not.
Their calderos were absolutely the cutest.
What I had: Rico's Original Lechon, Chopsuey, and Sizzling Lechon Sisig Rice
Love the ambiance of this place. Aside from their lechon, I liked their Oreo mango float. The staff are all attentive and does not hang out near your table, which is what impressed me.
I really love the lechon kare-kare and lechon itself, we ordered sinigang na hipon too. Unfortunately, i didnt get a chance to take pictures because we’re all hungry but i do have videos but i cant upload it here, so yeah you’re staff is very attentive to our request and price is very reasonable. Restaurant lightnings so brighy i like it. Definitely will visit again soon. 💖
