Last night we ordered Sinugba Espesyal that is good for 3-4 persons. Overall taste is good except for the crab, it tasted bland pero don't complain kase nakalagay naman steamed lang. I just think na may maiimprove pa. Service is okay atleast their not grumpy kahit pa close na sila. I love their cashew mango sansrival.

It's that time of the year again. 😀 Mama's Bday!!
Me and my wife asked her where she wanted to go and she wanted something with seafood and she wanted to go back to Seafood Island. (despite of our efforts to lure her into a samgyupsal place) 😋😎
There we go, we went to celebrate her birthday there and she said she wanted bangus. I think there are only 2-3 boodle fight meals that has bangus in it. What else should we choose, if it is bangus, we'll choose DAPITAN. 😁
The price and presentation is very different now compared to the last time we went here. It is at least 200 php higher.
Food is still good but there are a lot of seafood places now that offers better choices and fresher catch, so if you are looking for something new, I think try to look for more and better options.
I'm still giving the place a good rating because:

👌 Servers are now more proactive and friendly.

👌 Mama got a free buko pandan because it was her birth month. ( We asked for it. Lol. )
👍 Price wise, I'd say it'll be better if it's cheaper.
We spent almost 2000 php for the
Dapitan Festival -- 1300
- 1 small garlic bangus as in 4-6 inches in length
- a pan of sauted seafood (shrimp, squid and mussles)
- 1 small pot of sinigang na salmon (part is i think the jaw part, almost all soup than meat)
- 4 pork bbqs
- 2 bangus lumpia
- 3 vegetable sides
- Plenty bagoong rice
- Some fruits
- 3 dipping sauces
Crispy Pork Salad -- 185
- Fried pork with ensaladang mangga and bagoong
3 fruit shakes
- We only paid 300 for them when it should be around 500 because 'twas buy 2 get 1 free.
My mama is happy, my tummy is happy so Win - Win. 😋😋
I've been eating at Seafood Island with my friends at different branch but never got satisfied until we ate at the Trinoma Mall Branch. Food tasted so great they served us fresh seafood compared with other branch, service is great too staffs are very accomodating to our order.
Blackbeard’s seafood island is one of the food chains that started the commercialized boodle fight in the Philippine food industry and they were successful.
The Eatventurers tried their set with grilled pusit, liempo, hipon, steamed crab, grilled chicken, tilapia, halaan, ensalada, kare-kare. We also ordered sisig.
With less than 2,000 this is already good for a group of eight people. We’d want to try other sets they offer as well.
Mind that there’s already a huge amount of rice servings so bettet think twice when ordering additional rice.

I tried different branches and everytime nagcracrave ko dati ng seafoods eto yung pinupuntahan kasi medyo mura din kasi. Ok lang naman, pero minsan malamig na yung foods na siniserve nila and mabagal ang service nila.

Great food, great service. Dapitan's Pride, Boracay Feast, Davao Gulf are some of the boodle feasts we order and we always leave with a happy tummy. So much love for this place.

It has always been a great tradition of Filipinos to have boodle fight na nakakakamay, Seafood Island is the place to be. But if you are too shy to eat as much, you can always order for solo meals. Surprisingly, they offer a lot of yummy dishes good for 2-3persons.
Me and my friends decided to treat ourselves with seafoods delight in celebration of a friend's birthday. Bagoong (alamang) rice + special request of salted egg with tomatoes on the side gives you a one-summer-night-at-the-province feels. Sobrang solve! Among other seafoods, we tried their seafood bicol express which is yummy except that it is not spicy unlike the original bicol express. Sinigang na baboy is a bomb. Try its super Kilig-asim. The best! 👍🏻👍🏻
It was really exciting coming here because of the thought that you would eat using your hands like in a boodle fight. But the serving of the viands were little small xompared to the serving of the rice. All in all, the food was great but nothing special. Its nice to go here with barkadas and family.
Ate at Seafood Island with family. I loved the experience of eating there. The food is good, it made me eat using my hands. So if you have foreigner friends, bring them at Seafood Island so that they will have an idea of what is boodle fight. The service is just fine as well as the ambiance.
