Frequenting this place because of its 2nd floor's relaxing ambiance (also bonus for smokers because we all know there are rarely any cafés where you can smoke at in QC).
The service isn't consistent - sometimes the ones on shift are very courteous, sometimes they give off this "I'm a bit lazy to help you" feeling.
Place is clean and cozy, consistently!
I think CBTL in general can work on their food menu though. Besides the sausage roll which is a tiny bit too pricey for me, the others aren't so good you'd want to order them the second time around.
Overall still a good place to chill for me!
We, with my family, together with my sister's friend and their family again went here yesterday to have our afternoon coffee and tea. When we got here there were not so many people here at that time. I ordered the original mocha, for me it's a little bit sweeter. But it's good. We also saw that the promo for the planner was extended so we can collect more stamps. :)
The warm drink complements the bagel. Feels like Christmas - really 🥰!Their bagel comes with cream cheese which tasted good.
I prefer other bagels over what they have due to the texture is too soft.
PS: please have tissue available in the toilet as well as having air freshener. Came here around lunch time and there’s foul odor. 😕

After a night of drinking at Tomas Morato, my friends and I wanted to have coffee before finally hitting home. It was 3 in the morning and we've gone to three Starbucks branches already within the area until finally stumbling on this 24-hour Coffee Bean store.
Ordered Americano for my friends and I, as usual, had the Ice Blended Double Chocolate with light whip blended in and a piece of peanut butter brownie. Perfect day ender.
The male barista was still up and about but not so for the female employee who chose to smirk telling the world that it's late and that she wanted her bed. In other words, she was as cold as the branch at the wee hours of the morning. The difference is, the freezing branch I like but not her.
It was my first time to try their white chocolate berry cheesecake and I really did like it. The berry creme part was really good - not too sweet. On the other hand, the hot choco with mallows was quite disappointing. It tasted too milky with just a little hint of chocolate.

Excellent study place - the staff are friendly and accommodating, the ambience is pleasant, the music neither too loud nor too soft. You can read for hours and not be distracted. The place is beautiful and quiet.
Place gets crowded at times but never becomes too stuffy. Toilets are nice as well
NEW Summer Drinks! Coconut Ice Blended in Matcha, Dark Chocolate and White Mocha Dream. The coconut paired well with the matcha green tea. Reminds me of a the sea and a beautiful white beach escapade. Recommended.

This branch in Tomas Morato is quite spacious. It has a second floor and it can accommodate more customers.
I ordered White Chocolate Berry Cheesecake (P155.00). The blueberry might be too sweet. The cheesecake was just right.
