ordered kare kare and lomi. it's ok. tho kare kare was first served room temp. requested to heat it again. also, beef twalya has black hairs pa from d animal. lil improvement for d kare kare, perhaps? :( nevertheless, fronts are attentive :)

Gave this a 5 because we are not worried on anything, I mean, the place is small but well ventilated, place is clean and simple. Everything is pretty straightforward plus the staffs are very nice. The food is great, really. I love their sinigang, tapsi and binagoongan. A must try and I will come back for sure.
Great value for money. I brought their Pancit Malabon in my old office for our Christmas potluck and it was a big hit! The people were requesting for it every Christmas thereafter...
Familiar, comfort Pinoy food. Advanced ordered some of Lola Idang's best sellers. Not 100% sold on their Fried Chicken because on some days the chicken is overcooked to death. Rubbery levels. But my Mom loves it kahit sunugin nila ang manok. Comfort to the point that even if they make mistakes in doneness our family is willing to forgive. I don't know, blind following, i guess. We've been patrons of Lola Idangs for the longest time and they cook good food overall.
Homey and cozy, the greatest for Filipino comfort food. Almost everything on this menu is a family favorite (my father took me here when I first arrived; we love bringing balikbayans here).
My favorites are the pancit malabon (obviously) and the fresh lumpia.
Parking is limited though!
This is probably the best place to eat Pancit Malabon. The ambiance was cozy, home-y and carinderia like althought the place is air conditioned. We ordered their bestseller lechon kawali and tapsilog. It was served in plates covered with banana leaves and had slices of tomato and cucumber on the side. Verdict? Lola idang's food is simply delicious.
It's one of my go-to places when my choirmates are done for the Mass. While the rice meals are just ordinary, their Pancit Malabon and Palabok are definitely a must-try here! :D Oh, and don't forget to also try their karekare. ;)
