Ambiance
My friend Daphne was craving for what her friend recommends as Blueberry Cheesecake at Ara Mina’s (the actress) owned restaurant cafe. I inquired from a church mate where the Café was located and we were able to walk from church to the place. Climbing towards the second floor could give you a small workout. , the café is located on the second floor was a small feat. It was a homey place where you can eat your meals and desserts in peace. I think the adjacent eat all you can is not for us; at least not this time.
Food
Mandy’s Fried chicken (2 pieces P150) was crunchy but one of the two pieces of Fried Chicken came with a bit of blood; meaning it is still a bit undercook. Anyways, the server immediately brought it back to the kitchen and bring it back (better cooked this time).
Truffle Ara Pasta (P240) came with a sausage which was kind of weird. If it was cut into small pieces it would look better. This pasta tasted good but, if you would like to have that extra kick of spice do add some hot sauce as I did.
Mango Macaroni Salad (P95), this was my favorite all because it helpfully breaks the bit of saltiness from the salad itself. I again use hot sauce to make it more interesting.
Ara’s Red Velvet Cheesecake (P230 per slice), this cake came a bit short of my cheesecake expectation maybe because I am used to eating great tasting cheesecake. It was just okay but not phenomenal.
The dishes that we picked except for the Mango Macaroni salad were highly recommended because there was a heart shape icon beside the menu on each of these dishes.
Service
I could not find fault with the service because as soon we go inside the Café we were solicitously served with water. Since there are only two of us, the server arranges our respective paper placemats. All our orders came just in time before we even feel hungry. Kudos to the servers.

Hazelberry Café? All I think about is their apperitizing Oreo Cheesecake when I hear their name. Their japanese cheesecake is also a must try.
We have also tried their rice meals. The tapa is tender and I love their achara. Kare-kare is quite good too.
16.01.2019 First time. Good that they have proper parking space in the building. The interiors and ambiance are relaxing and cozy. The price for the food is reasonable. The fries were served hot and nice. The chicken was fried perfectly and the crispy kare kare was delicious. I liked that it is quiet and it’s a nice place to have dinner or light food/dessert and drinks while having catch up with old friends.
Went here on a weekday, looking for a parking space is easy. Right from entering the cafe the staffs are very accomodating, ample room, they also have sitting area outside the cafe. I love the cAke display and your senses will feast immediately :) i order kare-kare, homemade spaghetti and one chicken dish. And of course the reason why we decided to have dinner here was the famous oreo cheesecake. I love the tastes of the food very light you will not feel busog agad specially if your craving for a dessert. We save the best for last and its worth it, sobrang sarap ng cheesecake hindi tinipid, tamang tama din ang sweetness.
Will definitely be back here and try all those love cakes.
We ordered mango and blueberry cheesecakes. A plate of tapsilog and a plate of bagnet with bagoong rice.
We poked fun on how much the staff mentioned Ara Mina's name. Like how she made all the cakes and how she didn't skimp on the ingredients. 😁
But yeah, overall, Ara really does make a hell of a cake. The cheese was beaten smooth. It melted in my mouth. And, it had just the right amount of sweetness which complemented the blueberry and mango toppings.
The staff are very friendly and attentive. They really knew how to sales talk.
I'll probably come back if only the place wasn't too far from my area.
Loved the chocolate cake and oreo cheesecake!
Bagoong rice was too salty and the chicken pesto tasted a bit bitter. Kid loved the spaghetti. The desserts were definitely worthy but the for the main dishes, a bit disappointing.
The Truffle Ara Pasta is super good!!! One of the best truffle pastas i’ve had :) i also like the java chip blended coffee and the choco coffee. Pistachio sansrival was okay. Also, they have very good service, i give it a 10/10!!

Place: ❤❤❤❤❤
Price: ❤❤❤❤❤
Food - Indeed 👌. Sobrang sarap ng cheesecake, as in yung taste ng cream cheese hindi tinipid then yung thickness and creamy taste nya sulit sa price. Next time, itry ko yung ibang cakes ni Miss Ara. Thumbs up! 🖒babalik balik ka talaga 😊
Place - walang problema sa parking, cute ng set up ng cafe nya, simple at relaxing place. Friendly staff.
Price - worth the price! 👌
We went here to try the famous ara's oreo cheesecake in a jar. Well I can say that the cheesecake is delicious! It's not as sweet as other cheesecake that I tasted.
The place is okay, not too crowded. Very accommodating staffs they have. When we entered, the staffs have this welcoming smiles and greetings and ask us for our orders and they already listed it down to be given at the cashier and they already gave us the cheesecake in a jar even though we're still waiting in line to the cashier. I just whispered to my partner if they already have a spoon/fork to our to go in a jar and planning to ask for it if the to go in a jar doesn't have it and the staff already heard us and gave us a fork. Certainly planning to be back if we have a lot of time and also to try the dishes.
It is just that it is hard to find a parking so we just decided to take out a cheesecake instead.
Had dinner with family. Ordered bagoong rice with lechon kawali and mandy's fried chicken. The server is very helpful saying that the serving is sometimes good for sharing. It is true for us 3, so we still have room for some dessert. Tried their best seller Ara's oreo cheesecake, hubby & son liked it considering they seldom eat sweets & dont like cheesecake.
