The color of almost all food fits because they're black. Black burger buns, black pizza, any many more.

Blackport is the kind of bar where you can just chill, relax and drink - whether on your own or with your friends. Plus, its affordably priced so you can still go here even if its #PetsaDePeligro (like me!) Will def go back again and again and again! 😄

Btw, Moscato wine cost 150.00 a glass . Super steal! And they dont use plastic straws. Yay! 😉

I so love this place! Their place isn’t that big but the aesthetic is amazing. They are a travel-themed restaurant that also offers beers and cocktails aside from the tasty foods which makes it perfect for an after work chill with workmates or alone! They have an al fresco dining if you prefer it as well.

And the hunt for yummy hole-in-the-wall food stops around the metro starts now!🍽

Blogger friend introduced me to Black Port last Saturday that little "black" corner along Sct. Rallos street.

We ordered some good FOUR CHEESE PIZZA topped with mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar, and blue cheese (good for 2-3) and a plate of FILIPINO PUTTANESCA which I surprisingly loved (it has puttanesca sauce with olives, capers, and fermented fish sauce).

And guess what? The newly opened resto is Pebble approved! 👶🏻 Check them out on IG: @blackportph , I'm pretty sure if you're a travel enthusiast with an experimental tastebud like I am, you will enjoy it here!

Very accommodating staff. The serving was a bit smaller than in the photos but nonetheless the food tasted good and it was filling.

We enjoyed the Black Mojito and Margarita.

Karla and I both love to travel. The places to see, the things to do, the people to meet, and the food to eat. Being travel and food bloggers ourselves, we are just marveled at how diverse the flavors and textures food can have from one culture to culture, and from one place to another. Following our review of Empacho, allow us to introduce another restaurant in the Tomas Morato/Timog Area that’s a must to dine at: Blackport Cafe.

We ordered Chicken Skin and Caesar Wings plus Red Horse. Perfect match! I love the overall ambience of this travel-themed cafe. I wish though that they have sweet treats to complement the other dishes. I will surely come back!

First time to eat at Blackport. My friend gave up meat for lent so she got a carbonara pasta (I didn’t ask if there was bacon lol!) which I thought (and she confirmed it) was quite small. And it literally was black pasta and not squid ink pasta. Hahahahhaa! I guess it was just something we assumed.

We shared the pizza. Both of us liked that the pizza was done on flatbread and were quite happy with the topping.

I had the Filipino burger, which was patty with longganiza. It was topped with fried egg, achara and like a toasted piece of cheese. The entire dish was served with potato chips (that seemed a few days old) and aioli (anything with aioli is great! It felt very mayo-ish with garlic).

I liked the cheese that way but it was way hard to cut.

I liked the burger a lot! We were full by the end of the meal. Will certainly be back with the kids.

Blackport is a travel-themed restaurant made for and by travel bloggers! They offer dishes like specialty black pasta, black bun burgers, and pizza served on a black crust--all of which are home made!

Owned by travel blogger partners Kirk Acebron (@kirkacebron) and Atty Mark Julius Estur (@lakwatserongtsinelas), Blackport officially opened last January 3rd and have been a popular hangout for drinks and comfort food for the Timog scene since then.

Located on 51 C Scout Rallos, Diliman, Blackport was designed by travel blogger Kenneth Surat @kennethsurat to look like a bright little nook for intimate conversations, travel plans, and stories on wooden tables amidst travel guides and souvenirs.

Chef Consultants Albert De Jesus and Keith Lumanog, has steered Blackport's current Chef Jarell Ramos towards American, Mediterranean, Indian, and Asian cuisine. They've also got a decent collection of imported liquor and beer, cocktails and blended shakes to quench the thirst. The Mango Basil Shake (PHP 110) was a real heat-beater!

You think old pizza's can't learn new tricks? Think again. Their Margherita Pizza (PHP 349) is made with black carbon dough. It's rich properties help keep down the cholesterol levels and regulates intestinal transit. How'd you like that food for thought?

Like their Margherita, the Four Cheese Pizza (PHP 399)  is extra cheesy with and is bedded with crispy, thin-curst black dough.

Their Classic Buffalo Chicken Wings (PHP 259) is tender and juicy. It's great with their selection of beer.

The Korean Gochujang Chicken Wings (PHP 259) is welcome alternative as it provides that savory, sweet, and spicy side to the classic wings.

Dipped in squid ink, their Black Carbonara Pasta (PHP 249)is creamy, slightly thick, and savory.

The Sicilian Polpette Pasta (PHP 229) is the original spaghetti and meatballs, and Blackport creates a decent attempt at making it as authentic as possible.

Their Indian Burger (PHP 269) is a unique and surprisingly refreshing take on the traditional meat patty and bun combination. I recommended this dish for those who share Blackpart's sense of adventure.

And on the right corner, we got the Pinoy Burger (PHP 269) going toe-to-toe with its Indian counterpart. This local champ packs a punch with a thick and juicy longganisa patty.

Their Mexican Nachos (PHP 209) is topped with juicy chili con carne, ground beef, pico de gallos and cheese sauce.

The Crispy Pork Liempo is pretty much crunchy, tender, and juicy as you would expect any good quality Liempo should be.

Finally, we got their Biryani Rice, and it smells and tastes like it should. A little pungent on the nose with delicate chicken, and tastes spicy and savory. Prepare a Tic-Tac or two if you're planning to use your gob for the rest of the day.
