Hana sushi is our favorite,we go to your other branches and usually have 3 or more orders of it!!!!Love the trains!!!!!
The first time I tried this place was with my dear dad more than year ago. I remember him enjoying the food I ordered for him and (especially) the conveyor car that delivered our orders to the table.
It’s Mom turn now. She, like her hubby, enjoyed the concept very much that I had to play dumb so she could order me around (the things we do for our parents! *Rolls eyes). Aside from the conveyor thingy, we also enjoyed the dishes. The Tempura with the Chahan for her and the Salmon Teriyaki Donburi and the California Maki for me were all as how we want them (well, the Maki was a tad boring but hey, I finished everything down to the last tobiko/fish roe!).
Bet that Mom would drag me to a branch one of these days. *Rolls eyes again
This was not the first time we chose Genki Sushi to dine in but this is the fifth branch we knocked out for the ultimate #TheGenkiExperience at #TheGenkiSushiPh. So let me state ✌🏻 (2) things in this review “a must have” and “a must try”. Well definitely “a must have” in my order with so much ♥️ is HANA SUSHI (Rice, Japanese mayo, Salmon and Roe on top) coz its a wrap in one meal already 😉 and “a must try” was the SPICY SALMON GUNKA (Taste like Kimchi Poke Bomb), FRIED CHICKEN (4 small pieces of mix wings & legs part), AGEDASHI TOFU (4 cubes cut tofu with bonito flakes), and to complete the meal with YAKIMESHI CHAHAN (mixed fried rice). So far, everything is superb ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ since this comes too with an unli hot green tea on the side and of course wasabi upon request.
This place never disappoints me. When I'm feeling down and need some pick-me-up-sushi, Genki Sushi is always my go-to and for good reason. All their salmon dish is the bombs.
The place is sooo cool especially the trains that serves the food it's very nice. There is a wide variety of food to choose from. I ate here like 5 times already lol one of my favorite is the tuna cheeseball. I'll probably go back here haha
Affordable, Good Quality, Good Food, Kind Staff. It's all what I gotta say for Genki Sushi UP Town Center.
Japanese Food, especially sushi is one of my favourite childhood food! Genki Sushi can totally satisfy your cravings for Sushis! My brother and I ordered quite a lot from Spicy Tuna Roll; Tuna, Yellow Tail and Crab Nigiri; Flying Fish Roe and Spicy Tuna Gunkan; and lastly an Oyakodon and Chicken Teriyaki Don with the best Fried Salmon Skin! Which is a must try (the fried salmon skin)!
The ingredients are undeniably fresh for a price that cheap it’s a totally awesome place to eat your heart out for Japanese food in a budget!
The ambiance is quite alright, very casual and of course clean. The staff are courteous and attentive.
I just do hope that they’ll have Uni Sushi soon!
If you're wondering why only four stars, the real Japanese experience can't be felt here. Going to Japan and comparing this restaurant is far different. For some unexplainable reasons. However, this can be a go to for your Japanese cravings! But if you want to feel the more authentic vibe, better try a different restaurant with an authentic Japanese Omakase.
We're a frequenter here up to the point we celebrated Valenties here. Our must order is the Norwegian Salmon roll. The quality of the sashimi is just so perfect, we never tasted anything like it here in the Philippines. Not even exaggerating, it's really really good. Pricey for some but it's appropriate knowing that they deliver quality.

We love all their sushi, especially their seared salmon. The rice bowls are just okay, as are the fried appetizers. Just order lots of sushi and you won’t leave disappointed. Be prepared to spend a bit more, as those small plates can really add up!
Nice place to chill and have sushi. But i find it quite expensive though. However, our son had a good time and enjoyed the experience. Staff are nice too. We'll come back for sure. 😊
The place is clean and well-lit. We loved their ordering system, made us feel we were actually in Japan. And most importantly, their sushis are to die for. Crispy sushi salmon roll and Hana sushi are must-try!
