Choice of outside smoking or indoor air conditioned, no pretense in their ambience, simple and conducive to straight talk or honest conversations, great music.. but what keeps us coming back is the food. Kapalmuks the best, pair of with gising-gising or other yummy veggie dishes to lessen guilt! Also a lot of booze options but my fave is the Mango Rhum slush!

Was treated to an incredible feast here thanks to Zomato and Pepeton! I thought I lost my photos on here but when I finally found them, I thought I'd still share my experience.
Delighting Filipino families for years in the Scout area, I'm glad to have had finally sampled dishes from their incredible and extensive menu! Below are some notable items on the menu that I loved!!
They're best known of course for their Kapalmuks, deep-fried pork face that's oh so crispy and juicy!
Bandehadong Sarap #1 is the ultimate appetizer platter! That in itself is already a party for your tummy with all kinds of good stuff!
They nailed the Inihaw na Pusit! Nice and tender, and absolutely fresh.
Do not miss their sago't gulaman drink that's bottled along with other goodies that you can take home!

Probably the best Pinoy restaurant in an area where Filipino restaurants are plenty. Wide selection of local dishes including some which are not usually available eleswhere. Squid ala pobre was tender and savory.
Food comes in big servings. Not suitable for 2 people. Best if you come in group. Don’t forget to order their famous “Kapalmuks” and a pineapple juice of course😛
Pepeton’s is a place where people (family and friends) can celebrate an occasion or just simply meet, just to enjoy affordable Filipino classic food such as sisig, crispy pata, pakbet and a plethora of inihaw. The place is cozy and comfortable while complementing it with good service.

Pepetons has been around since the mid 90s. From pepsquad dinners after the UAAP games in college, to "two bottles" after the Finals exams during Med school, birthdays, New year's eve dinners and team celebrations after a race - its trademark "Kapalmuks" never fails to bring out smiles and provide the ultimate Pinoy comfort food. My SO and I ate for dinner here at around 10pm, on a Tuesday. There's only a few occupied tables, maybe 3-4 tables so the ambiance was pretty light.
Service - As we arrived, the receptionist, which I gathered was named Evi, wasn't as accommodating as a host should be. We had a reservation and she was quick enough to refuse it, only to find out that our reservation was legit. Maybe it was endorsed to her by another staff. It was a bad experience with this person already but thanks to Robin, who was our server that night, he was really attentive and accommodating. He even told us if the food we order is enough or more than enough for the two of us.
Food - We ordered sinigang na hipon, grilled beef ribs, chicharon bulaklak, Pepeton's Rice, and a glass of Sago't Gulaman each. We didn't try the kapalmuks, or muka ng baboy, as we both don't eat it. :D But I heard that it's their bestseller. We also tried their Banana Caramel dessert. The servings were more than enough for the two of us (and we eat a lot!) so we get to wrap up some of our leftovers. We only paid Php 1,600+ for it, which is already affordable for the kind of food we ordered.

its not a vegetarian place but my friends wanted to go. I ask that they make tortang talong without meat. I ate it with the chops suy and I was happy with the results.
Went here for lunch with my officemates. It is near National Bookstore Q.Ave. There weren’t many people yet when we arrived so we didn’t wait that long to be attended to. We ordered their house specialties:
1. Kapalmuks - Crispy Pata. I particularly like this crispy pata because it’s been toasted well to the point that you won’t even feel guilty eating it because it’s crunchy. The oil has also been drained well. We were just 4 and I think Kapalmuks can accommodate around 8pax.
2. Bundok Rice - It’s really a big serving so wala kayong talo rito. Also kanin palang ulam na eh.
3. Chopsuey - Fresh veggies and it’s not too salty
4. Sisig - my comfort food. The sisig is toasted and also has a big serving just like the rest. Panalo din papakin.
5. The deserts are also good, in the way it tasted it’s like they used muscovado sugar.
6. Gulaman - Love their gulaman!! It’s like one pitcher na. 😂
Overall judgment: Perfect for barkada and family dining!
