I have been dining at kanzhu for several years now and the quality and taste is still good. Both the braised beef dried noodles and noodles soup are served in large portions enough to fill a hungry tummy. Also you should consider ordering the olive fried rice as is has quality taste and such variant of fried rice is not easy to find elsewhere in Metro Manila
A1 Braised Beef Dry Noodles, (truly) Crispy Lemon Chicken, Fried Rice, Seaweed with Century Egg and you’re good to go! Ambience could use more work but other than that, Kanzhu does a great job with these dishes.
They also sell sesame-coated peanuts which are great for snacking at home.
The noodle quality is spot on, maintains its firmness despite the soup temperature. They also offer good merienda meals priced at 88php only!
Kanzhu hand pulled noodle restaurant is a healthy option for people who loves noodles and dumplings. They are located along tomas morato. We ordered their A1 braised beef dry noodles and asked it to be divided into two. Beef was tender but I really hope they added more. They have big servings. Their pork and chive dumplings are a favorite also.
What I can say about the place is that it’s what you would expect in a typical Chinese family restaurant (King Bee, David’s Teahouse, Yang Chow, etc.), to some extent. But it would be more proper to compare it with Le Ching’s: fast, belly-filling and affordable.
Make sure to try out their signature Dry Noodles as you won't usually see them in other Chinese Restos. They have a variety of options in their menu so don't make the same mistake we made where we only ordered all noodles lol!
Sad to see that its Marcos Hiway branch close but good thing their Tomas Morato branch is still kicking.

Ate here one Christmas Eve of 2017 and although small in size, this place is very cozy and yummy food too! I can’t remember the same of the noodles we ordered but it was good. The beef in it was perfect not rubbery like I feared and the Chilled Green Tea Taho was so good. It’s not too sweet but not bland. I ate here with my boyfriend and when our bill arrived I remembered it being less than 500 (probably 300+). At times like this it’s amazing to pay only that much for two people without food quality being sacrificed. The only problem I see is that I live far from here but other than that I would definitely visit again if given the chance.
It was good, but please always serve your food hot. It would make the food 10x better. Nevertheless, the food was enjoyable and the serving was big enough for sharing.
One of the most authentic hand-pulled noodle resto I've tasted in the Metro. Love how their noodles are freshly made and cooked ---al dente style. Their serving can be stretched to 2 if you don't have a huge appetite.
Their menu also boasts of other best-selling dishes including their delicious Olive Fried Rice and French beans with minced pork. For appetizers, try their siomai and gyoza.
"Everything was legit!"
A strong remark from my dad. I was searching for a Chinese restaurant and this was the closest in the area that we haven't even tried yet. Plus the curiosity abt "hand-pulled noodles" was a factor.
Well we ordered....a bit of everything? 😄😄
Just check the photos. But, yah, we (they, since this is my bonus treat for fam) really enjoyed every thing here including our stay since it's very quiet and neat.👍
