There are very few true restaurants left along Katipunan. Tyler’s is one of the gems that has managed to plant itself between the long line of fast food joints and convenience stores. I really hope people support Tyler’s so there are more options, options that are made with love and quality ingredients in mind, and not just fast and unhealthy options out there.
I am a huge fan of the sandwiches, especially the mushroom melt. I can’t get enough of it!
I also like the bread and chocolate pancakes as well!
My friends and I have breakfast here almost every month, and they all believe it’s worth the trip through Katipunan traffic!

I'm at Tyler's at least once a week because it's just a super convenient place to work in and has really, really good food and drinks. Wifi's fast and there are a handful of sockets. Since I'm here so often, I already have go-to orders. Though I'd like to note that you can cross order from Gino's if you prefer the latter's pizza and pasta offerings.
1. Smoked Beef & Eggs - I love how tender the beef is and the sauce that served at the side pairs so well with it. I usually have my eggs done scrambled, but you can opt to have it sunny side up or some other way.
2. Ricotta Pancakes with Strawberries, Strawberry Jam, Cream, Almonds, Basil, and Syrup - Among all the dishes on the menu, this is the one I order most frequently. I really, really love it. The ricotta adds a nice savory flavor to the pancakes that go so well with the strawberries. It's just a burst of flavor with every bite. Highly recommended!
3. French Toast Brulee with Mango, Strawberries, Almonds, Cream, Syrup - I like how the crunchy top of the french toast contrasts with the soft interior. Strawberries and mangoes go so well with together, making this dish more enjoyable.
4. Strawberries and Cake - My go-to dessert here when I still feel like having one. It's made up of a brown butter almond cake, strawberry jam, strawberries, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate crumb. I like the crumbly texture of the cake and how the almond flavor goes so well with the strawberries.
I usually have hot chocolate or a matcha latte with my deal. Both are good and will definitely satisfy your cravings for a hot, delicious drink!
I popped by for a quick lunch and was in and out within 30 minutes. The service was THAT fast, and friendly, too! I'd been dying to try Tyler's, mainly because I've loved Gino's (their affiliated restaurant) for years and years. So glad I did! Pictured above are their Benedict and a dirty latte. My orders were in front of me within five minutes of my giving them (during a rush hour, you'll note) and they were so tasty I'd polished them off within 20. Will definitely be back!
Tyler's Cafe is an amazing breakfast place. I enjoyed breakfast continuously for two days here. They serve outstanding scrambled eggs and very juicy bacon. Staff is courteous and very helpful. If in Loyola Heights do visit this place :)
Ordered their coffee and pizza bread. But it was yummy! I love the ambiance, the place, and the plain pizza bread which was sooooo soft!! :) perfect for non pizza loves like me because it’s just plain soft dough.
I think this would be a good place for a date... Lots of tables, good ambience, relatively quiet. Big plus that you can cross order from Gino's next door. They put a twist to their dishes for that extra ooomph. Their servers were attentive & friendly. I had the bacon panckes-- which I liked. I would love to come back for their other dishes. Coffee was okay. Lighting not ideal for pictures!🤪
I wasn’t exactly able to try the entrees and such in terms of food, but I enjoyed my stay at Tyler’s Cafe nonetheless. The ambiance is warm and cozy, perfect for a quiet nightcap amidst the hustle and bustle of Katipunan.
I ordered a hot americano alongside their double chocolate cookie. I enjoyed how the cookie wasn’t too sweet despite being double chocolate. And the brew of their americano hit just the right notes.
Will definitely be dropping by once more if I ever find myself in Katipunan again!

I dropped off my kids for the first day of school and thought of rewarding myself for getting over the madness of first day prep with a great meal😅 even if “take out” for a Hands on Working Mom like me!
Tyler’s Salmon on Rye bread with Poached egg, certainly did not disappoint❤️ Healthy and Tummy Warming.
I sipped my matcha latte while waiting for my take out - and it came out in less than 5 mins! Healthy and Perfect for moms and professionals on the go!
Please update the opening times to 6am so that more folks can enjoy Breakfast at Tylers🥰
Tyler's cafe is where I would go to start my week right. Its a perfect spot for a sunday brunch. Their breakfast is not unique, but it was cooked satisfactorily to my palate's delight. The modest and cozy interiors provides a warm atmosphere where friends can share a good meal and a good laugh.

We were in the katipunan area for a meeting and tyler's easily caught our attention from the outside to grab for a coffee. Little did we know that they also serve all day breakfast meals.
We ordered their bbq set a for 2 pax consisting of 100g bacon, 100g beef brisket, creamy spinach, coleslaw and 2 rice of our choice (we got garlic and brisket rice). I also ordered their matcha latte to pair my meal.
Oh boy, this meal platter is heavenly. I especially enjoyed their bacon, which has the right balance of lean meat and fats. It was flavorful, sweet and smoky. Best paired with their brisket rice. I also love their beef brisket, it was so tender and balances well with the bbq sauce. The coleslaw was light but is a good addition to the meal as you'll feel less guilt eating meat with a handful of veggies hehe. The creamed spinach was another hit! Easily finished after a few bites.
The matcha latte I ordered was also so good, no need to put sugar in it and really complemented well with the bbq set. Overall I had a very enjoyable breakfast here and definitely recommended.
"All happiness depends on a leisurely breakfast" - I read this on their menu and it sure was a happy and memorable day for me after having this wonderful breakfast.
Get their smoked beef and eggs. You’ll thank me later. Service is prompt and friendly, restaurant is clean and well lit, and the food is always top-notch.
