Cool place to hang out and have a lot of parking space

Ortigas Malls in partnership w/ LEP brings about one awesome adventure crawl mga pare! four malls, a plateful of restos to chow down on, add in some shopping and tons of activities to complete this whole daw excursion.

Having worked up our appetites, we the headed over to Industria, the lifestyle enclave that has then become a mecca for those who love outdoor activities. Though known for drinks and chillin’ coming in to Chef & Brewer we were served their special Pancit Sisig which combines noodles with different types of sisig. This has been my fave since i tasted this at their previous branch in Pasay and gorging on it that day it was the same delicious pancit as before or prolly much better. the miki bihon noodles were flavored just right and to the teeth then those crispy bits of sisig took home the crown.

Its massive Flight of Wings, towering deep fried chicken wings stacked on top of each other with three kinds of dips was also a winner! matches uberly well with the pancit or a highlight on its own.

Chef & Brewer has an awesome location in Industrial Mall, Circulo Verde.
High ceiling, great acoustics and even a balcony that looks out to the riverside adds a homey feel to this bar.

The band and music takes into form in mostly classic 80s selection that makes people like me (Gen X) sing along and maybe feel like dancing eventhough I rather be stuck in my seat. The musicians they have lined up in Chef & Brewer would surely make anyone feel nostalgic and ready to eat-booze up. I do believe that they have an open mic on Wednesdays.

Bar food also is as exciting as their music. I can't get enough of the Carbonara Pizza. A real hit with everyone with it crispy crust, full load of cheese and the richness of a sunny-side up egg on top.

Pair the Carbonara Pizza with the Seafood Pasta. Hearty tomato marinara sauce goes well with a mix seafood of mussels, shrimps and squid.

Go also for the Flight of Wings, deep-fried chicken wings with 3 types of dip.

The Chef & Brewer Pizza with it's mix of meats and veggies gives you a nice balance of flavors. Or go healthy with the Chef & Brewers Salad.

Overall, Chef & Brewer at Calle Industrial is the best place to unwind in this side of Libis with ample parking and a new spirit of congeniality.

We were invited for the grand launch last Wednesday which had free food, drinks, and prizes! Yey!

The place was basically a bar, but it was spacious with high ceilings and cold aircon. There is also space outside for smokers, and yet can still listen to the band. There were 6 or 7 bands to play that night, but we were only able to listen to 4. Though we generally like the nusic they played, mostly from the 70 to 90s genre. One even had saxophone and trumpet which was cool.

Now, for the food, they first served the Chef and Brewer Salad which was well... ordinary. I like salads in general, and I can eat them even without dressing sometimes if the vegetables were really fresh and sweet by themselves. But this was ordinary with seems to be... thousand island dressing?

Then they served the seafood pasta, which was generally cream based and it was good. Even if I just tasted the noodles, I can already taste the sauce. It has some clams and shrimp heads.

They also served Flight of Wings, my favorite because I generally like chicken. It was crispy, with some parts seemingly taste like chicharon bulaklak hehe it was served with some garlic ranch I think and a bit spicy hot sauce, but it was already okay for me, even if eaten alone. Serving size was big, maybe good for 5 to 6 people.

The Chef and Brewer Pizza was also okay, cheesy though it didn't really make much of an impression with me (or maybe in general, I am not a fan of supreme and all-meat pizzas). But we like the Carbonara Pizza better, which was new and innovative, with egg served on top. Though... the egg was separately cooked from the pizza itself so one can actualy remove it if they want. Even if you can't see the bacon, you can taste it in the cheese. Yum!

They also served seafood marinara, which was a bit spicy and tangy but well, it is marinara. I guess I like the cream-based seafood pasta better.

Over all, food was generally okay. We liked Carbonara Pizza the best, followed by the Seafood Pasta. Then the Flight of Wings was generally safe, as it's fried chicken and has a big serving size.

I'm not a big fan of clubs in general, but they're okay with their genre of music. (I believe my parents would have enjoyed it more than I do hehe)
