To those people living in Batasan Hills & craves for some coffee that is near the area, do head over to Coffee Book.
The café isn’t that hard to find. It’s on the 2nd floor, right on top of Mini Stop. The nice thing with its location is that it is beside the entrance of Filinvest 2 Subdivision. So everytime I just want to chill by myself or catch up with some friends who lives in the area, we make sure to go to this small café.
I am giving this café 3 stars because their food served is nothing special. Last night, I had a catch up with one of my kabarkada in Coffee Book and we both ordered the Baked Lasagna. Their Lasagna is the typical one. You can actually order better Lasagna in other restaurants. What I appreciated though is their Café Americano. Instead of ordering it in hot, I would usually order it cold. Then a while ago, I ordered something else for a change. I ordered their Green Tea Latte (125php) cold drink. Starbucks Green Tea Latte is better.
Ambiance wise, Coffee Book is a good place to study or work. It has this relaxing ambiance where there’s a bookshelf full of books you can borrow. They have this private room where you can rent it. Usually that’s where my friends & I would stay because we want to be able to talk freely. Majority of the other customers would usually stay outside. It would be nice though if there were more sockets available. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of people who bring their laptops with them and there are areas in the café that does not have a socket. Their staffs are friendly and they make sure you get to enjoy your stay there.
If you and your friends want to go to an artsy cafe then this is the right place to go, its ambiance is peaceful. Going here was not a mistake, it makes me and my friends keep going back here. The quality of their service is the best. If they would give me a chance to rate them it would be a 10/10
