I work from an Insurance company around 100 meters from Idang's. That's why sometimes we order here.
🏖 AMBIENCE:
Place is small, which means that if you are going to have lunch here, make sure that you and your folks have arrived around 11am so you would be able to be seated comfortable. It has limited amount of tables and chairs so make sure that you come as early as you can. Kasi for sure maraming kumakain dito come 12pm.
🍽 FOOD & 🍹DRINKS:
Minsan nga lang is maalat ang pagkaluto. But overall, food is good. I've ordered a lot here. I highly suggest the Tapa and binagoongan. :D
💆♂️ SERVICE:
Service is ok, but if there are lots of people, calling the attention of the servers, even when the place is small, can be a challenge.
🚳 PARKING:
Limited parking slot. Park at your own risk sa Examiner st. if all 4 slots are taken.

If you are lookng for filipino na lutong bahay, this place is a good place to go. :)

Kare kare - Good for 2-4 persons. Very delicious at an affordable price. May laman at may gulay na. Hindi overpowering yung lasa ng peanut sauce kaya nag bblend lahat sa panlasa.
Lechon Kawali - Sliced thinly kaya hindi mahirap nguyain o kainin. Crispy ang balat kaya nakaka enjoy kainin. Savory!
Fried Lumpiang Ubod - Ang laki na, mataba na, siksik pa! Oh di ba san ka pa? Hindi puro wrapper lang. Ang daming gulay sa loob kaya mabubusog ka na neto.
Place was a bit small, ang dami kasing kumakain. Masarap nga naman kasi mga pagkain kaya talagang dinadayo. Sana palakihin na nila yung place para mas maka-accomodate ng maraming customers.

Placed an order via phone call. I ordered their pancit.
Pancit - Eng sherep nemen 😍 ang taming toppings. Hindi maalat yung pancit, tamang tama lang ang lasa.

Daing na Bangus - Ang laki neto pag sinerve. Napa wow kami nung nakita namin kasi ang laki talaha at ang sarap
Regulars of this establishment, food is really good according to prize, but please Ate try to put on a smile, aren't you happy you have a job? *peace!
We used to eat and order at their branch in Bicutan and it is just recently that I discovered they had a few more branches within the Metro and this is the nearest from our office.
Love the KareKare and Crispy Binaggoongan. My office mates who were on diet couldn't resist it that they had to order extra rice.
Affordable food with a good taste of filipino cuisine. Though service is only average, but I still want to go back to try the crispy pata and kare kare. And by the way, they have also pasalubong items at the front counter.
Whenever I crave for Kare kare, I always go to Lola Idang's. I always call in advance and pick up my orders so I dont have to deal with the masungit servers. :)
Their crispy binagoongan was the best I ever tasted! The crispy pork in it is almost like bagnet then not so over cooked tomatoes and onions goes well together with their delicious and not so salty bagoong. :) Medyo kaunti nga lang ang serving. The only downside is the service, madami naman silang staff but mabagal ang pag serve at medyo hindi accomodating sila, most of the time nakasimagot sila. But their food was great! I already ate here more than 5 times na just because of their crispy binagoongan. :)
their pancit malabon is worth bringing home for the family to share.
