it's a place my family and I would go to to enjoy sumptuous sisig with a great view. The place is not over crowded and the staff are very welcoming and attentive.
Dencio's at Greenstreet boasts of the best landscape views this side of Quezon City. It's great during the day; you might get sun in your eyes at sundown, as they face west, but then that's done and you're okay. In the evening, the view is just as awesome.
There's an open area and an inner, air-conditioned area, both of fairly equal size. Big groups are the norm, so if you're slightly unlucky be prepared to wait sometimes, even on weekdays. It's also one of those places that stays open till midnight, a rarity in this area.
We usually order beer by the bucket, and a couple of pulutan dishes. Last time, we dried crispy chicken intestines with green chilli and their classic creamy sauce, which I think also goes into their sisig; and their sisig taco salad, which went a little overboard with the dressing. Nonetheless, their food remains consistent.
Parking is decent is all around the area, though past the guardhouse you might be asked to pay a fee.
If you can't make it up into the hills of Antipolo, where sadly some bars wreck the view with their loud, rickety setups, this is your best second option. Stay in town; you're better off saving some of your time and money on an extra beer and the same, beautiful view.
Place:
The scenic view would be the first thing that would captivate you once arriving. The place is spacious thus you can roam around and take pictures. We came there for a birthday celebration of my uncle and all the diners/guests were seated outside to enjoy the ambience. They also have tables inside the resto that were also spacious. They also had a bar for cocktails and drinks which is pretty amazing.
Food:
They had appetizing meals especially their pulutan meals. You should aim for their famous sisig, crispy and tasty, definitely worth a try and it’s my favorite from their menu. Their shrimp dishes were also delish, the taste of shrimp stood out. Java rice, tortang talong and sinigang are so-so, nothing fancy.
I ordered a Dencio’s Shirley Temple for my self which is non-alcoholic, it only tastes like soda with red syrup, nothing to rave about.
Price:
Some meals were worth their price and some are not.
Service:
This is the downside of our experience. Crew were attentive yet slow. Plain rice and some viands took ages to arrive, we were half full and mostly finished before the orders arrived.
Summary:
Most of the customers were their for drinks. Would definitely recommend because of their food. If you’re up to drinking, this is the place to go because most of the food from their menu are for drinking sessions and not for dining in.
