The coffee (I had a plain latte and a regular black coffee) was tasty, and locally sourced (from Sagada, near Bagiuo, I believe), and the oatmeal orange cookie was delicious. Staff was friendly, the atmosphere was artsy and cordial, the playlist was inspired, and service was excellent--great place for a writer to while away an afternoon. My only regret is that I didn't pick up a bag of beans, but I'll pick some up next time. I've only been in Quezon City for a week; SGD Coffee Bodega has been on my list of places to try out since before I even moved to Pilipinas, and I was not disappointed.
Awesome place, best tasting coffee and delicious chicken tocino. Would come back again. Angelo was very kind and accomodating. :)
Great coffee! Nice ambiance, and cheers for the smoking area in the back :)
Pleasantly surpised. Didn't know this place until we searched for coffee shops near UP. Wanted to try something different.
Food: 5/5 Got the French toast while my siings got the champorado and the Egg On Toast. Check ang plating. Check ang lasa. Check lahat. 😊👏
Ambiance: 5/5 Simple lang ang interiors pero cozy. Ang saya dahil may parking space sila sa harap (mahirap humanap ng parking sa Teacher's Village). They also have a room for Basic Barista classes. Will most likely go back to try them out.
Service: 4.8/5 I asked a few questions about the shop and they staff was polite enough to answer them (dahil medyo makukit yung tanong ko). Food didn't take long to come (we were there around 8:30ish, tapos wala pa masyado tao)

I like the ambiance. It's peaceful, clean, spacious and has private or function room on the 2nd floor. Crew is courteous enough to answer my questions about their "SGD" came from and the "best seller selections with good explanation and all. Very good place to set meetings and to study. :) 👍
Ambience - hipster? Yes, but also mellow, chill and relaxing. Wooden furniture and eclectic music beckons to the mostly student/ creative patrons hanging out, acting blase while sipping their flat whites.
I doubt you can go wrong with any order. The etag carbonara was simple, unadulterated with those bits of smoked native meat providing a flavor and texture contrast to the smooth sauce and pasta. A hint of lemon rounded out the dish well.
Chicken pesto salad was also a winner, that homemade bread is worth its weight in gold (you can also order a loaf to take home. Pricey but worth every cent).
If you can only order one thing - get the All meat pizza, I'm still dreaming of it today. Perfectly baked crust, cheese, sauce and meat almost indistinguishable from each other, topped with an (arugula?) leaf to finish strong.
For dessert, try the lengua de nata, or the crumby, chewy choco chip cookie. Have it warmed for the best experience. And of course, have it with one of their signature brews.
That's a formula for a perfect day, right there.
They also offer sensory and roast workshops for aficionados.
A quiet, hidden gem in the Maginhawa area. The place is homey and cozy. A great place to hang alone or with your significant other. We ordered the affogato and SGD black. Beverages we ordered were good, straightforward good quality coffee. Will go back next time to try their food.
We arrived early in Metro Manila and needed a place to have breakfast with a good cup of coffee. It's a great thing that they open early! :)
Coffee is 🙌
Also, their rice meals are really filling. Is it because it's red rice? Would recommend this place if you are nearby!
An ideal place for hanging out with friends or loved ones. I really appreciate that they serve locally-made food and their drinks are great. Would totally go back.
Quiet and accessible from Maginhawa. Been trying to look for places where I can read in peace, and this is perfect for it. Coffee’s excellent and the pastries are ok
I love their food. This hidden gem provides a twist to the local flavors. I've been here twice and I wasn't disappoi ted in both occasions. We ordered longganisa rice, and adobo rice. On the second visit, we got their fried chicken and pesto pasta. Their coffee is also good. The place has 2 flights of cafe space and 4 parking slots.
My only concern is that it gets extra warm in the afternoon and the aircon wasn't enough to keep us cool. We had to leave after a while because the heat was a bit uncomfortable.
Amazing place. Reminds me of Al fresco dining. The view is just fantastic! Food was equally delish. The rice was from the highlands, and it was filling. The adobo was drenched in coffee sauce, which complemented the spicy savory taste. The coffee was also brewed just right, not burnt, not acidic, just enough to wake up your senses
