Great place if you're looking for a less crowded restaurant in the place. Went there after the CCF Anniversary, and despite the crowd in the event, Ma Chicken Mami House wasn't as packed as other food places in the area.
They offer large servings of Binondo Mami, with variety of ingredients - egg, meat, dumplings, etc..
I loved their Sweet and Sour Pork. The rice it is accompanied with was properly cooked, good for my taste, and not oily at all.

My office has been located in the Frontera Verde area for at least 2 years. I have always noticed Ma Chicken Mami House on an almost daily basis. It never really caught my attention or sparked my curiosity until just recently. One of my co-workers/teammates and I were talking about food. He mentioned that it was all good especially the mami which is like Binondo style mami.
Now, I honestly can remember the last time I had Binondo style mami was at least 10-15 years ago when I last went to Binondo (sad, but true, it’s been a very long time). If I had any mamis around the city within that time, I can’t remember any as they were just plain forgettable.
As for the mami that I tried at Ma Chicken Mami House, it was superb! There were several mami choices. I had my go at Ma’s Binondo Style Mami. With the 3 meat toppings it had (pork humba, pork siomai, and chicken), it was big and filling. It tasted great, noodles weren’t too soft, plus the broth was flavorful, and not overly salted. It was warm and comforting as I ate it slowly, cherishing every bite and slurp. With it being served in a hotpot bowl, allowed it to remain hotter longer. Amongst the toppings, I loved the siomai as it was large in size, with real meat, no extenders.
I was so amazed by the mami, that I knew I had to come back and try out some other dishes. That’s exactly what I did the next day.
Day 2, my return, I chose to get a rice dish. I got myself Sweet and Sour Pork on top of Fried Rice. I was a decent serving, served in a hotpot bowl. In terms of taste, I liked it a lot. Sweet and sour that is just too coated or drowning in sauce is something that I am not a fan of. It can have that ‘umay’ factor and be too sweet. I don’t like sweet pork that’s for sure. Now there’s was lightly coated, fried well, and not oily other.
The fried rice was pretty good too. There were decent amounts of fixings mixed in from vegetable and meat bits. They didn’t skimp on them. The fried rice could actually be a meal on its own.
I also ordered a side of siomai as I couldn’t get enough of it the day before. It was super yummy, just steamed and with some chili-soy. It seemed more meaty the 2nd time around, but then it could be simply because it was steamed rather than having it in the mami.
Okay, okay, I will confess I also had some takeout orders as well on an almost daily basis. Just siomai and fried rice. It’s that good! LOL!
Food: 5.0 – Simple Chinese comfort food at it’s best.
Service: 4.0 - The place is self-service, but the servers are always nice. No problems with asking for assistance or recommendations.
Price: 5.0 – The prices won’t break your wallet!
Ambience: 3.0 – Wooden tables chairs and tables around. Not really the most comfy in the world. The place could use a revamp.
I will most definitely try out the entire menu one dish at a time. Oh, and it’s owned by the same group that owns North Park Noodles, so dishes are very similar. I love North Park!
Ma's Binondo Mami is a must try. Try it guys. Food is really amazing. Try shanghai rolls as well 😆
Eveytime I'm in Pasig or Tiendesitas area I usually drop by Ma's Chicken House. Food is amazing.
This is the best recovery resto for drunk people lols Much cheaper and quiet lols. My partner introduce this resto she just want to impress me lols kidding aside i love their meals. I love their siopao! Kikiam and lumpiang shanghai meal. We always order yhe binondo mami something to make me sweat hehe
My 1st option during late dinner. I recommend the Binondo Mami and the honey cured siopao. My only problem here is, there is no available parking space.
Went solo flight going to this fine place near our Tiendesitas site after training. Been seeing positive reviews regarding this place and have been wanting to try this out.
The restaurant was small and can seat roughly 30 in their air conditioned area and another 12 from al fresco. Simple modern feel with some elements of Binondo. Some feel also of North Park as they also own the place.
Got:
Asado Siopao (Similar taste to North Park but had no fat and loaded from the first bite! Siopao as it should be!)
Ma Chicken Mami (One of the best Mami I tried, broth was a bit thick and well balanced taste of chicken and other spices added in the mix.
Pros:
Mami was great!
Siopao was loaded and could not help to take the shot to show as proof.
Cons:
Menu limited, ideal for quick meals and snacks
Place needs some revamping.
Overall, the food experience was great and will definitely come back for another mami fix and to try the other options in their menu.

In the realm of food & gastronomics, doing it the old fashioned way never goes out of style. Slow simmering of chicken & pork have been traditional routine in souping up authentic flavors. Ma Chicken Mami house takes pride in this by keeping it sound & fundamental.
Came to know about Ma via raves of a fellow blogger. His poetry was palette rhythmic, enough to entice my curiosity. So when we embarked on one of our usual Saturday pastry explores in the c5 area, Made a sharp turn to Fun ranch... My kids were ecstatic but were bummed out as I walked into Ma Chicken Mami house. Yes, they have a branch in Fun ranch... A bit odd but who's complainin'?
I got the fastfood feel & ambience as I entered, orders are placed & paid at the counter. Interiors were unique, the tables & chairs were hardwood & the designs were well thought out. Nothin' fancy but certainly gives out that old Manila throwback atmosphere
Took up their best seller - The Binondo Mami (P163) & I must say that the long drive was worth the battle! Firm noodles soaked in flavorful broth enhanced by chicken strips & greens. I loved that it was a lil bit on the salty side but did not deviate from how fresh & distinct the flavor was supposed to be. Glory in a hotpot!
The Pork Shu Mai (P66) were ginormous! I mistook them for cupcakes. All bulked up & packed with meat, carrots & chives, a certified mouthful! Wraps don't fall off when you bite them. The Siopao Asado (P64) were equally gigantic & pork packed! The sauce was crazy thick but not annoyingly sugary, a another good pick
We also got the Crispy pancit canton (P225) which is one of our mainstays when eating Chinese style. I liked the consistency of the noodles post being coated by the rich sauce & veggies. Not a standout but certainly a good bet. The best part about it, comes with 2 fist sized Fried bread. Yes, it's fried... & yes it's awesome! Crunchy surface, soft & fluffy inside! No need for extra carbs
It was a good venture, Taste was good as initially published. Nice joint for a quick fix. Will surely be back on my next hotpot noodle craving
Since a friend told me about how they love the mami at Ma Chicken Mami House and keep coming back for it, I've been interested. So when I found myself at Tiendesitas one rainy afternoon, I finally got to try the restaurant out.
The restaurant is located in the Fun Ranch Building. The counter is at the center and flanked by dining areas on both sides. The concept is pay as you order so the setup is just right. The store is decorated simply but a little makeover would probably help.
Although curious about the mami, I opted instead for Ma's Special Kikiam Over Rice in Stone Pot because I was quite hungry. It was very good and very reasonably priced. The kikiam was quite filling and although deep fried, not oily at all. The rice was fried rather than plain. The stone pot kept the dish warm. Complimentary soup was served too.
The couple next to me seemed to enjoy the mami. I'll probably order that next time to satisfy my curiosity.
I love the food here especially their fried ppiencit.i always keep in coming back.
