Interesting fusion between Filipino batchoy and Japanese ramen.

The restaurant was designed to look like a traditional Filipino home with traditional wooden designs from the tables to the chairs to the walls except the highlight pieces are in Japanese.

Service is quite good. It's at least what you'd expect from a restaurant in the Philippines.

Now here's the interesting thing, the Ramen Super Batchoy doesn't really taste like ramen. It's a good bowl of batchoy but I can't really say it's a ramen bowl. If you're looking for a more traditional ramen bowl, you'd be better off elsewhere. But if you'd like a good bowl of batchoy, this is a must try.
This place is great if you're hankering for both Filipino and Japanese dishes because this is probably the only place you'd get the best of both worlds.

Fusion of filipino and japanese cuisine. I like that they incorporated the batchoi in the japanese ramen. The broth is rich and flavorful. Their kani salad is also good. Price is quite reasonable for the servings of the food.
Would have been great if they also offered a bit of dessert on their menu. One of the nice places to go to if you want a ramen craving.
This is my favorite go-to place whenever I’m craving for comfort food. The ambience, staff, and cleanliness is excellent. Plus, it is budget friendly. Food serving is good for 1-2. ⭐️
“The well-loved batchoi with a Japanese twist!”
Their slogan was really a come on for us who love Japanese food.
For dinner, we ordered:
Original Miso Batchoi
-Tonkatsu pork broth with miso soup topped with pork liver, roast pork chasyu, chicharon, with noodles, egg and naruto
Verdict: Presentation-wise, I was not so impressed but once I had a scoop, I loved the broth which was rich and flavorful. The batchoi-ramen fusion worked well!
Buta Don
-thinly sliced pork with semi-sweet sauce
Verdict: Very tasty and delicious! The only improvement we can think of is the green onion. It was a bit overpowering. Could be grilled instead of sauteed directly.
Total: 440 pesos
Overall, we are going back for a decent semi-Japanese fix 😉
Japanese and Pinoy food combined 👌 Tried the gohoku chahan and crunchy maki- both are so oishi! This will be added to my fave list of japanese-pinoy-to-go-restau. 😊

Our newest go-to restaurant. Delicious food, sizable serving but very reasonably priced! So far, I have not been disappointed. Service is fast too.
Oishi Batchoi is a fusion between Japanese Ramen and Filipino Batchoy, and it is a unique take. For 220pesos you get a sizeable amount of soft noodles, with lots of innards and a freshly cracked egg. The soup is distinctly batchoy. Aside from the noodles, taste wise it is more batchoy than anything. The rest of the menu is Japanese cuisine, ordered the Kani Salad, Fried Rice, Gyoza, Chicken Teriyaki Donburi and Tofu Steak. We enjoyed the meals very much. The interiors looks like an ancestral home in the province with the sohilya weave as accent pieces. Located at the Commerce Avenue entrance of Festival Mall. Service was fast but should be more careful with the change. They were over by 500pesos, good thing we caught their mistake and raised it with the service staff.
I absolutely love Oishi Batchoi. The ramen/Batchoi are so flavorful and delicious (Tried the Super and seafood batchoi but the Miso Lapaz is my favorite) and are so affordable, will cost you less than P200. They definitely fix my ramen cravings. Also like their California maki and salmon sashimi.
My other favorite besides the ramen is the seafood salad, so yummy and affordable, it has sashimi, shrimp and squid and a good sesame mayo dressing... mmm im craving. i hope they use fresh products all the time.
Affordable ramen with a twist of filipino taste. If you are on a low cholesterol diet the ramen is not recommended. Too much fat. taste is "pwede na".
Kani salad is good for the price of 155 pesos.
Gyoza (fried) is very cheap and taste good.
