good food and good price but staff a little bit slow, need to constantly remind additional orders and request, even the halohalo almost took years before was served that is after 2-3 times followup.
Location: New wing. If it is endorsed/ownes by Jerico Rosales, then I will definitely try it. I love their adobo in mango, karekare and halohalo. If you love filipino dishes, dine with family.
Hands down one of the best Filipino cuisine food chains for me. Though their Crispy Pata is definitely the star of the menu, all the other dishes are still good enough to be on the team. But Crispy Pata is star player.
Celebrated my grandma's birthday here. I'm giving 5 stars since she was really happy and enjoyed the food.

Awesome place to eat with friends, not really a spot for just 2 people. Servings are huge and everything tastes fresh.
Except that salad in my pictures... Stay away from that salad. I am not sure what was going on with the dried out carmalized chicken pieces but it was not good at all.
Order the dynamite. Dont stare at the menu and think about ordering it, grab the nearest waiter or waitress and tell them that you want the dynamite. Do it now. And the sissig, get that too.
Prices are very reasonable and well worth it.

2nd time to dine in and they never fail to satisfy our appetite. Serving time takes 15-20mins. Kuya J is actually best if you are dinning in groups as all their meals are good for sharing - Regular size is already good for 2-3person. Even their halo halo is good for sharing. We tried:
Crispy Pata - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (crispier in every bite)
Grilled Scallops - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (a must try in all their appetizers)
Sotanghon Guisado - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (just the usual sotanghon - nothing so special)
Creamy Halo Halo - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (reasonable price - finest shredded ice - creamy and tasty)
BUT make sure to double check your bill before paying, as on our experience, an additional Fried Chicken was on our bill but we haven't really ordered any...
I haven't tried Kuya J's even it's just a stones throw away from me. I got the chance when my friend invited us to celebrate his birthday here. I was not disappointed. We looked over the menu and decided.on multiple dishes. Even though we as Pinoys have eaten our cuisine several times probably in parties, other restaurants and our very own homes...the dishes provide a different approach to it. I must say it's good. I am definitely coming back o try other dishes.
First time to try this restaurant, heard a lot of raves regarding their Halo halo.So while waiting for my appointment I went in.
As I've already finished my lunch I just zeroed in on the purple dessert the ube halo halo.
It was ube flavored ice with some u be cream, leche flan and cornflakes on top ,at a medley of halo halo bits at the bottom ,what's impressed me also is that it has fresh langka fruit .Tastewise very smooth ,silky and very flavorful ube flavored ice,enough to be a great food item.
Service was fast even the restaurant officer Robert was very friendly.Atmosphere was very pleasant.Their menu booklet was also very interesting it was like a digest with many bits of practical and hip information.
Will surely comeback to try those Filipino favorites.
Enjoyed the food I ate a while ago. Tried their Roast Chicken, Tortang talong, sizzling sisig and kangkong and had their famous halo halo for dessert. Food was delivered quick and portion was okay. Personally I like their foods esp their chicken and sisig. Its not your typical filipino dish. I prefer kuya J's over Max's tbh (but Max's sizzling tofu is still the best no doubt) and I like the way that their Chicken is cooked as it is not dry. Likewise with the sizzling sisig, I like how it is not your typical pork bits but rather more of shredded. Dishes are not perfect but is still good. As for the halo halo, its superb. I'd still go with my Razon's but Kuya J's version is a close second. Ambiance is good (except for the flies) and customer service is fast and proactive.
Their halo halo is not my type of halo halo but overall, food was great. Must try is their sisig, this is not your typical sisig, it has an after taste so likely of a lechon.
