We always crave for a pakistani cuisine and our favorite place to eat is in this retaurant and everytime we went there we always order the same food mutton karahi, mutton biryani and chapati. I might say that the food was authentic because the owner and the one who prepared the food was a pakistani. Im very grateful to have this near at my place unlike to the first i discovered long ago and also a authentic pakistani restaurant is at makati ave which is far.

They have recently renovated the place, so I don't think that the sanitary of this place would be an issue anymore.ย
They serve authentic Indian food. Love the shrimp curry and beef karahi, together with basmati rice. Haven't tried anything else yet, but I've heard that their biryani tastes quite awesome too. They also serve Filipino food, but why would I go to an Indian restaurant to get Filipino food. :Dย
I liked how the Indian chef (I assume he's the owner/one of the owners of the restaurant too) approached us to check if the food is OK. Some of the Filipino staff are OK, others choose to ignore you when you raise your and you need something.ย
This restaurant is nearby our place, so I go here every time I crave for curry.
The food and the service is great! The food is cooked well and that was my first time experiencing eating arab food. Although, I think they should consider add air conditioning.
We had Beef Biryani, Beef Korma, and some Roti. Compared to other Middle Eastern Restaurants, their Biryani is pretty good. Plus they serve authentic sauces too. The serving is for 3-4 people but 2 people can finish it if they are starving. Everything tasted good. Love their korma although I think the Korma was a little milky (I mean, it had more milk than the usual), it tasted good still. Roti is soft.
Never judge a book by its cover. The place looks run down and very casual. Prices of the food seemed expensive, given that the menu and place seemed out of place. The servers assured us that food serving is for sharing, and it is. We even had some left for take home.
We ordered beef biryani, paratha and mutton karahi. The paratha is served piping hot and big enough to be shared. We put mutton karahi on the paratha for additional flavor. Combination of these two is superb. However, what made us quiet and focus on our meal is the beef biryani. Serving size is enormous. Enough to feed a 3 - 4 people. The flavor in that dish is amazing. You can taste sweetness of the caramelized onions and heat from other spices i've yet to know.
There are a lot of things to improve, but the quality of the food is amazing.
The place is tucked and quite unnoticeable and once you enter you will automatically notice its clean set up and the menu will be handed to you on a clear book... ๐

I found this middle eastern restaurant by accident then became their regular ever since. The owner is a middle eastern, so as the chef. The food is sooo tasty here I want to kidnap the chef :)

This is a tiny restaurant near small shops and a food court along Vito Cruz; it's also across epic Jollibee. Tables are arranged for four people. Interior is too simple with a minimalistic brick wall design, which is amusingly slanted towards the bottom. It has a hole-in-the-wall vibe and is pretty peaceful. Restaurant front is very plain but their halal signs are eye-catching.
Chola Masala is chickpea! Since I enjoy garbanzos, saying yes to trying this was easy. This can be spicy/non-spicy.
Chicken Korma can also be spicy/non-spicy. The size of the chicken pieces were fair and the coconut powdered sauce was appetizing to look at. The consistency of the sauce was nice but it lacked flavor; perhaps spices really light this thing up but a milky flavor would've been nice.
Chicken Polao was pretty heavy and I still can't figure out how I finished everything. It's for one starving person (me, apparently) but best for sharing. It came with two pieces of chicken that were initially tucked under amazing basmati rice. Two dips are on the side.
Paratha was a big round piece of bread, nice and thick, barely oily, and simply fun to eat. I had no dip for this yet somehow managed, again, to finish everything. Just a heads-up that it's plain so eat it with something, anything!
Well, i was so surprised to find an indian/ paki restaurant near vito cruz. The price was ok. Just it will take a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile to get what i ordered. Very like indian food... But in my opinion, the biryani has less spice in it since indian cuisine is famous for the rich and complicated tastes feom spice. Even the food color can tell it is quite "light"... Chola masala has too much oil than gravy. I also noticed the pest control is required.(cockroach is too visible in picture 2) Yet It is a good place to try south asian food.
The best thing about this place is that it's quiet and the food is authentic. My friend told me that the rice they serve here is the same as the rice they eat in the Middle East.
