This time around I tried their Brown Sugar Milk Tea. My first time to try cream cheese was with Happy Lemon when you should drink it without a straw. I got confused because Gong Cha had covers, how do you drink it? At first sip, I didnβt like it. I drank all tea. But when I purposely mixed them together, I realized there was the magic. Shake before drinking!

3 reasons why I had to have Gong Cha this week even though I am a big Yi Fang Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte fan:
1) I saw the lifesize standee of Park Seo Joon endorsing the drink. Yes, I am a Kdrama fan and have watched 2 of his dramas (which are actually romantic comedy ones) and enjoyed it.
2) Saw a sign that there was a price roll back for the Pearl Milk Tea at only β±95 for a large one.
3) I recently read somewhere that Gong Chaβs pearl milk tea recently topped a blind taste test (and Yi Fang faired last!!!) so I was intrigued to be reunited with its taste to find out again if I agree with the result.
Verdict: I still love Yi Fangβs Brown Sugar Pearl Tea Latte more. I have a sweet tooth and love their sweet pearls. BUT I am still giving Gong Cha (Megamall) a rating of 4 for the following reasons:
1. The price is reasonable at β±95 for a large sized drink.
2. Taste wise of the milk tea, it is actually good (but the pearls have no taste which some may say is how they are supposed to be but I like them sweet. To each his own.)
3. The service was fast even though there was a line.
4. There was ample seating for customers (although I think it needs some updating as the premises look old/ outdated).
So will I be back for more Gong Cha? Yes, I will! Also because there arenβt a lot of Yi Fang branches so most likely there will be Gong Cha but no Yi Fang nor Coco (or if may Coco, super haba naman the line) hehe.
I've tried their passion fruit wintermelon and it was good. I just waited 5 minutes for my drink to be served. Definitely gonna come back for more. π
I sat down here while waiting for my friends to arrive at the Megamall. We will be having our dinner later after a couple of years. I was early because I wanted to escape the hassle of traveling during the rush hour.
The crew has been very friendly. I didn't know what the drink was, and she immediately knew what I wanted. And she was smiling! So plus points. Their space inside the store is large enough for people to comfortably wait for their orders to be taken. It was very spacious. They've completely utilized their space outside the shop and placed a lot of tables to accommodate customers. Their service is pretty fast, so you wouldn't run into any trouble waiting for your drink if you are in a hurry.
They don't have any available power outlets and there was no wifi at the time, so maybe it's not entirely a good place to work on your laptops here.
*They have a wide variety to choose from
*My favorites are milk tea with coconut jelly and wintermelon with cream cheese and coconut jelly :(
*They have a seating area
*Service is fast
A simple place to hang out, past the time, or get a sweet drink after a meal.
Prep time is fast, no need to wait more than 1min for your order. I'm a regular here and so far, flavor and quality has been consistently great. Although when it's nearing closing time, most of their flavors are already consumed, and just the usual milk tea is available, can't remember what it was. Will still continue going here, I hightly recommend it.
Was able to treat my daughter for another favorite milk tea with some daughter and father time together. :)
I'm sure I got her into Gong Cha and now we have our favorite Wintermelon Milk Tea drinks. We normally have one with pearls for me and another without pearls for my her. As always the pearls has a nice softness texture making it just right. Always recommend this drink to family and friends! :)

Just had dinner and was craving for something sweet, cold, and refreshing. Since it was a long walk to my car (parked outside of the mall), I ddecided to have a nice cup of fruit tea. I was planning to go to a competitor, but Gong Cha suddenly sprouted behind me inviting me to go in, and I did.
Tried Gong Cha many times in the past but never liked their milk teas. There is a satiating aftertaste to it. Knowing that, I went for the fruit teas instead. I was surprised to see that they have a long list of items in the menu board, and even more drinks at the counter with their new posters. Got confused with the drinks so I ordered my safest, Honey Lemon Green Tea with less ice and no sugar.
For the drink, it was a bit sweet but tasted alright. The sweetness might come from the honey. The drink was refreshing, just what I was looking for. For the lemon, they used candied/caramelized lemon which added sweetness to the drink, but it was fun to chew them as well.
Have yet to try their other drinks next time.

Gong Cha is my go-to spot for milk tea. I would recommend their winter melon tea with cream. The sweetness of the tea contrasts the saltiness of the cream making it an ideal combination. I would always shake it, but in some occasions I would finish the cream first and make my way through the tea.
Not a fan of milk tea but tried here before when it was a blockbuster here in megamall. Their bestseller is the house wintermelon tea. Actually I loved it! :) although it tastes like gulaman, but a special gulaman for me. Hahaha! And the price is reasonable. I'm happy that I tried their milk tea. Nice place also for some chit chat with friends. ;)
Most fave tea will always be with Gong Cha. Milk tea = Gong Cha for me. Love the taste of such pure brewed tea specially the green tea. Place in mega is kinda cramp but staffs are all nice
We have staple order whenever we go to Gong Cha. Their Wintermelon topped with their cream. What I loved at Gong Cha is that, it's really creamy. Though girlfriend find it too sweet, for me, it's just perfect!
We also loved the hard cup they are using for their drinks! haha!
One of the top tea spots for my and my wife. We had to usually toss coins to take a pick of the nice tea spots in SM Megamall.
Our Go To Choices:
Gong Cha Milk Winter Melon Tea (My Top Choice)
Gong Cha Milk Chocolate (My Wife's Favorite)
Lemon Winter Melon Tea (My favorite light but refreshing option)
Pros:
Most of the drink options are really good
Prices are not over the top
Cons:
Limited drink options compared to other top competition
No new drinks introduced
When I heard "gong cha", what actually comes to my mind is a cup of cold and delicious milktea. I super love gong cha and I'd never been dissapointed with the tastes whenever I try new flavors.
One thing that they need to add is an internet connection. It seems like they depend on the wifi source of the mall but well its ok! ????
Pretty good!
The list goes on for tea lovers - Gong Cha is a must try and try again. The service is fast. Price is reasonable and the taste of their tea flavors is really remarkable. Their Gong Cha House Wintermelon Tea is really a must try. The space is small but the ambiance is great fro small afternoon chit chat with a friend.
My life has never been the same again since I've tried Gong Cha House Wintermelon Tea. I love how the cold sweet tea mixes through the thick cream before finally getting to your tastebuds. The simple Pearl Milk Tea also appeals for those who love the street-sold taho for tasting like 'arnibal', the sugar liquid poured on the soy dessert.
Tip: This branch has free wi-fi service. Bring your technology and stay connected as you sip and enjoy your tea.
