steaks are a bit on the chewy side, but for the price? sulit na siya! gravy is also good. its open air by the side of the road, so its best to eat late at night or early on the morning

Place: the place is open and has a good ventilation but it can be very hot during lunch time especially when the place gets crowded.

Food: I recommend their T-bone steak it tastes good and it's affordable. I also tried their sisig and it's also good, I think it's good for two. Food here is very budget friendly and you'll never run out of options.

Service: The staffs are very approachable and accomodating.

If you want a cheap but very good T-Bone steak, this is the place to be. Located at Barangka Drive in Mandaluyong, among cheap food joints around. Their sizzling T-Bone is just 120 pesos but is more than amazing when you start to devour it. The place is open and you can smell the smoke from the grill that will make you crave more while waiting for your orders to be served.
I suggest you tell the ordertaker to make sure the meat is tender.

The ambiance is not that great but their t-bone steak is good, especially for the price. Their grilled t-bone steak (135) is a thick slab of meat and the gravy complements it.

One of the best go to places here in mandaluyong. Either a quick dine in or a place just to chill with your friends. Definitely recommend their t bone steak for just 100 pesos. Also try their sisig and inabasarab for your pulutan. You can come their anytime 'cause its 24 hours open.

PLACE - 3/5 ⭐️ They do not have an air-con since the style of the place is like a veranda. So, going there for lunch is a big no no.

FOOD - 4/5 ⭐️ It’s very affordable! The gravy tastes really good! However, the steak is too greasy. Their blue burst iced tea is also a must try!

SERVICE - 5/5 ⭐️ They are very accommodating. No need to tell them what you need, they’ll deliberately refill your water. Lol.

I have been residing in Mandaluyong for years and I have never been to Chekwa not until last night. The place is clean, well-ventilated (it has air ceiling fans and an outdoor chain concept). The coziness and warmth of their place is what I liked the most.

This isn't your typical tapsilog place because they really cater good food and service. The price of their food is 5-peso higher than other places but is reasonable! We ordered Tapsilog and really liked it. I can't wait to try their T-bone steak. I highly recommend this place.

Affordable, simple and fast. Quick fix for those "silog" kind of cravings.

Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not air-conditioned but with good enough ventilation with an open concept.

Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crew is attentive and food gets to be served under 10 minutes.

Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ With the price ranging from P35 to P130 and full at that, value for money is there.
