This is a fave spot for afternoon dates, lunch with friends too. Love my recent experience here about two week ago. They made sure their patrons are safe and observed safety practices. I especially loved the contactless dining option.

The menu was limited when we visited because of the situation, I would reco you to message their FB page for the updated menu. We ordered the Tuna Mango Roll (P220-5pcs), Miso Salmon Roll (P220-5pcs), Carrilleras (P475), and Salmon Burger (P420).
Portions were not big but what you are paying here is the quality of the food - which are unique and delicious! The Carillerras was the tenderest pork I ever tried and the wasabi coleslaw was just perfect with the fried salmon burger! And of course, you could never go wrong with their sushi rolls. Will definitely go back again next time to try their duck breast tataki and sea urchin risotto 😋
Aside from the complimentary potato chips with garlic aioli, I also had Nikkei from the Tiradito Section and salmon nigiri for appetizers. I then ordered duck breast tataki for my entree and wasabi ice cream for dessert.
The restaurant boasts Japanese food fused with Peruvian style of cooking on their menu and I was able to see and taste it in the Nikkei and duck breast.
I can say that the dishes are well thought of, have depth in taste and have a wonderful fusion of two different cuisines! I usually don't like duck, but I like the one I had at Nikkei.♥️ I also noticed the freshness of the ingredients used!
Finally, I love the wasabi ice cream!😍 I'm sure I'm going to love the ginger flavor too.

One of the best restaurants here in the metro. Their uni sushi was fresh, you can taste its sweetness. The ribs were soft, not dry and tasty. The california roll was surprisingly good, too.
The staff were attentive to what you need and are even proactive in checking how’s your fining experience going.
Ambience is really good, if you are an iOS user, the place is like a “dramatic warm” filter that came to life. Service was very prompt and the servers are really attentive.
We ordered salmon ginger, kakiage tempura, aburi roll and iberiko pork. The salmon ginger was really good, it has the right amount of ginger giving the dish the warming flavor it needed. The iberiko pork was good as well, you can tell from the taste of the pork that it was marinated skillfully. The aburi roll was okay, they could improve it a little bit because the serving size was kind of a let down. The kakiage tempura was a total pass, i will never recommend it to anyone.
The place can become full fast so don’t forget to reserve a table if you’re planning to dine here at a rush hour 😊
Seared Tuna with Sea Urchin Risotto is the bomb! We keep coming back for this dish. Oh did i mention we were able to score it at half the price thru Zomato Gold 1+1! Wooot!!! Will try other dishes next time.

Wagyu Causa Appetizer- very little serving for the price. Mashed potato is fine. I was shocked by this dish since it kinda disintegrates in your mouth without you knowing it. I needed another bite just to evaluate the taste
Spicy tuna roll- we ordered this since smoked salmon was not available. This is literally spicy. Spiciest roll so far but no wow factor.
Seared tuna w/ Huancaina Risotto- Must try! This is the first time I had a risotto and it did not disappoint. All the elements blends well.

We went adventurous and tried this restaurant for a change. The flavors are definitely new but in a good way. We enjoyed everything we ordered: ebi causa, panko, lomo and carrilleras. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu!
Place is too dim for me but I guess that is their theme. Food presentation was well-thought along with its plate. Taste is good. Service is great!

Our first for this Fusion cuisine of Japanese and Peruvian and we are thankful to have done it here in Nikkei at The Podium.
While perusing the menu, we were enjoying what our eyes can see. The establishment had a few seats and exudes a candle light romantic feel with only a few light sources. We picked the Wagyu Causa, Tuna Mango Roll and Classic Ceviche.
It was a bit sized trivia for me that the Peruvian Ceviche was a version of our kinilaw although it had a twist of sweet potatoes thrown into the mix. It was a welcome change to what we are used to as Filipinos. Tuna Mango roll was a delight as well with its fresh mix of ingredients. The Wagyu Causa was something new for us but we thoroughly enjoyed it the texture and flavor.
Portions were above mid range and portions were on the small side but it really gives you satisfaction with every bite. We were both wondering why each plate was so damn good. Thank you Nikkei for making our anniversary lunch worthwhile and memorable!
Back when Nikkei Podium was a Zomato Gold partner, it was always my go-to restaurant for whenever I wanted to treat myself a bit. Even now when it is no longer under Zomato Gold, I would still like to dine here from time to time. Their seared tuna with sea urchin risotto has been one of the best meals I've ever had, and is my default order whenever I eat in the restaurant.
Went here to celebrate my bestfriend's birthday. We were a group of 8. The place has a great ambiance. I really love it. It's more of a romantic date place than a birthday celebration venue tho. So yea, if youre planning that romantic candlelight dinner date, then i totally recommend this place. I also went to their branch in Makati and both places have the same quality of food.
They servers were also attentive and their accommodating.
The Ortigas branch has parking since it's inside the mall and the restaurant itself has a comfort room.
The food is really good. Quite pricey but everything is worth it.

We availed of the Zomato Gold 1+1 and really worth it because menu are very pricey. Restaureant has a great ambience and spacious. We ordered Seared Tuna with Huancaina Risotto, Nikkei Black Cod with Honey Miso and Panko Roll. Food is delicious except the risotto, we're not sure if it's somewhat overcooked as it has a different taste.
The food was divine! Ordered buta no kakuni lunch set, spicy tuna tartare, & aburi roll. The pork belly was tender & the seasoning was on point. I don’t really like spicy food but the tartare had just enough to give it a kick. The sesame ice cream was the perfect ending to cleanse the palate. My friend ordered the lomo donburi set and it was so-so, hence, the four-star rating. The staff was courteous & attentive. Will definitely come back!

Nikkei Podium did not disappoint. It lived up to its high Zomato rating of 4.9 that was the very reason why I and a former work colleague picked the place for our semi-annual dine-out. The very amiable staff Kitty Ramon obliged when asked to pick the dishes we should order. Her recommendations were excellent. She ably described what went to every dish, and estimated the right amount of food to satisfy our hunger while leaving some room for dessert and coffee. Our favorites were the seared tuna with sea urchin risotto (main dish good for two), the spicy tuna tartare, the aburi roll, and the salmon causa. Glad that each dish went well with white wine. Loved their Brazil guariroba peaberry coffee. My only suggestion is that they serve warm milk with the coffee so the latter remains hot when milk is poured. The staff (whether at the counter and on the floor) was alert, friendly and quick to respond. Kitty checked on us regularly like a fine host. Loved their distinctive black napkin. Definitely a place worth returning to.

Nikkei never fails us. Food is very good. Service is excellent. The crew are very accomodating, especially Mr. Aaron. Worth the price. Suggest trying Grilled Ebi, Nikkei Black Cod with Honey Miso, Duck Breast Tataki, and Aburi Roll. But it is guaranteed that most, if not all, of the offerings are delicious.
Great food. Great vibe. Employees (shout out to Yel) are pleasing. Must be well managed! Perfect for any occasion: Dates, reunions, family dinners.

Excerpt: The dishes were really good. The salmon sashimi tasted fresh and fatty. The thickness was just right.
The seared tuna with Huancaína risotto was a good dish. The searing of the tuna was almost perfect while the risotto was al dente. The Huancaína sauce, a Peruvian cheese sauce, went really well with the risotto.
The Nikkei black cod with honey miso tasted a little bit burnt but overall, the taste profile was nice. The miso taste was not lost and the fish meat was juicy and flaky.
The wagyu gyoza had an interesting taste profie. The beefy wagyu taste was combined with a citrus-based sauce and chili. We liked it but it may not sit well with others.

Food was really great! Ordered the Carrilleras (Braised Iberico Pork Cheeks) and the Aburi Roll. The meat was cooked and seasoned well, and the rolls were quite filling. I'd say the price amd serving size was reasonable, knowing you have to shell a bit more cash in a restaurant like this. Also had their Strawberry Lemonade drink, which was refreshing. The staff and the manager on duty were very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go back here again.

First time here! We ordered aburi roll, miso salmon roll, salmon sashimi and seared tuna with sea urchin risotto. All of them are really good. The risotto has perfect balance of texture and flavors; filling and satisfying. The aburi roll is a must try too. It's an ebi tempura with aburi salmon. Shoutout to Sir Yel for making the dining experience even more better. #zomatogold

We were curious about this place 'cause it has a 4.9 rating and it is also on zomato gold. We had to wait for 20-30 minutes before we were seated. We gave it to them anyway because it was a friday night and it was on a busy place in the metro.
We ordered chicken teriyaki and carrilleras. All we could say was that the rating and price were worth it because the food was heavenly! The meat was very tender and very tasty. There was also a unique and delicious taste in the potato truffle. We also ordered their Keep it coming Gohan, which was unlimited rice for 80php.
The ambience of the place was nice and dreamy. They even had candles as part of the table set-up. The waiters and servers were also courteous. TAKE NOTE HOWEVER: We were denied the zomato gold benefits as we forgot to present the Zomato Gold prior to the dinner. This doesn't happen to us in other restaurants and we got used to presenting it after eating. We admit that it was our fault as it was stated in the rules. So if you're going here through zomato gold, please don't make the same mistake as ours.

Overall, the dining experience was classy, comfortable, and the dishes were amazing. Would like to recommended their pasta, the pork chashu mixed in with the dish is melt in the mouth. Staff is very accomodating (Our server Yel walked us through the menu items which was very helpful)

Great food, amazing service! I seldom review places that we go to but this one deserves it. Kudos to Gilas for being so attentive to us. From food, ambiance to service - everything is near exceptional. Loved everything we ordered but what we enjoyed the most were their miso kurabuta and aburi rolls that we couldn't help having another order of 10 😂. Plating was also very nice and inviting. We really feel having some premium using Zomato Gold here compared to other partners where food selection is so restrictive and service feels discriminatory. Will keep coming back ❤

We also liked the citrus dip with the sweet potato chips (free appetizer). Overall, a good dining experience. Yel was a very good server.

Dining at Nikkei is always a great experience. The place has a romantic feel about it, and the food is always divine. The staff are also very accommodating. My husband and I keep coming back to this restaurant.

My friend and I ordered Salmon Teriyaki and Ebi Furai Rolls. The salmon teriyaki was soft and the sauce complements it well. The Ebi Furai Rolls were also really good. Our server, Ariel, was very accommodating. He even showed us a menu with photos when he saw that we were having a hard time deciding what to order. We loved everything and we'll definitely come back ❤

The food, even the drinks, are really good. You might think that it's pricy, but it's worth it because of the quality of the food. Will definitely keep coming back.
This dinings place stood out in both service and dishes. One of my favorite food is Japanese food, making this restaurant one not to miss. As I placed my personal favorite Aburi Roll in my mouth, I felt like I was enchanted onto a spell bringing me back to my wedding days, Ive never felt so happy. 10/10 would come back.
The service of this restaurant was unimaginable. Food was given in an instant, very satisfactory. The dishes also stood out, reminding me of the time when I was hiking in Japan. Many various food such as sushi, rolls, risottos, etc. reminded me of my ancestors from the great land of Tokyo. Definitely would come back.
Podium’s Nikkei introduces a dashing taste of various flavors mixed to achieve mouth watering cuisines. One dish that appealed to me the most, was the risotto dish mixed with sea urchin, creating a soothing warm feeling from the rice, and unimaginable flavors from the sea urchin. Would not miss this exquisite cuisine at all.
