The food was great. All are delicious and savory đ. I love crab maritess but it's pricey. The staffs are helpful. I will definitely come back..
...perched in the topmost floor of EDSA Shangrila, with balcony seats that have great views of the vast mall area is a modest seafood restaurant that serves wholesome, well cooked food worthy of a feast.. price-wise, one might think their servings are a tad bit expensive, but know well that one gets what one pays for.. i recommend their paella
Crabs are not allowed in the gold promo, but the Filipino dishes are equally good or better compare to other Filipino restaurants. Unexpectedly, you can eat in the RED CRABS without eating their famous crabs because they are alot of other dishes offered.
I can not help but still wax poetry over that alimango we had last week at Red Crab in Shang Mall. Meaty, succulent and flavorful, that CRAB BIHON transported me to memories of summer past spent in beaches with the view and smell of the sea.
Going to Palawan anytime soon? Check out Red Crab Alimango in Lio Beach at El Nido Palawan. They just opened last April.....
You cannot go wrong with the following: sinigang with watermelon, crispy tilapia, and smoked fish fried rice. Always a good option when you want to eat Filipino food.
One of the best places to satisfy cravings for seafood. Shrimps were cooked well and the baked bangus. Their pork sisig also was good. Food was served in minutes.
My dad and I went to eat at Red Crad for late lunch since I saw that it was a Gold establishment.
The only exclusions for the 1 + 1 promo are the menu items priced per gram and their seafood medley platter.
We decided ordered their adobong pusit klasiko and their sinigang na bangus belly.
Their sinigang na bangus was nothing spectacular but it was not bad either.
The adobong pusit was what sold this visit for me. Possibly one of the best ones I've tried yet. It had a subtle "sizzling" flavor which I loved. My only wish is that they add more of the squid ink sauce.
Serving time can be slow despite visiting after lunch on a weekday.
Food: 4/5
Service: 3/5
Ambience: 4/5
Value for Money: 3.5/5
Especially enjoyed the salmon head sinigang soup; didnât get crabs because we didnât want to use our hands to eat that night.
Btw platters & food by the gram are not included in Zomato Gold.
Their sinigang na tuna sa panga and seafood ala po re is great. The serving is good. The ambiance and the staff are great. Will be back for another dish experience.
We had our sumptuous lunch here at The Red Crabđ. The place is quite small however we really love the interiors of the restaurant good ambiance. Good enough servings but priceyđČ.
We ordered cheesy mussels, baked oyster cheese pimiento, salted egg crab, steamed lapu lapu fish with tausi, garlic prawns, adobong pusit klasiko, crispy pancit canton, manila pork belly.
Starters:
1. Cheesy Musselsâââ- Mussels are fresh and not over cooked. Serving are OK. Not bad but I prefer Oyster.
2. Baked Oyster Cheeseâââââ- Oysters are fresh, perfectly cooked. Serving are OK, the cheese and lemon really compliments with the oysters. I want moređ.

Main Course:
1. Salted Egg Crabâââââ- We want female crabs however the only available is male crabs. We ordered two salted egg male crabs. And all I can say is that one of the best I've tasted. Yummy but messyđ, anyways they provide like a big bip to prevent any splatter on your clothes.
2. Steamed Lapu Lapu(grouper) fishâââââ- Fish is fresh and perfectly steamed. Sauce is good not too salty. Tasty and flavourful.
3. Garlic Prawnsâââ- Small serving for it's price prawns are not over cooked, tasty, there's a little bit of spice because of the ginger which I like.
4. Adobong Pusitâââ- Typical Filipino food, good enough serving. The squid are perfectly cooked, tasty and flavorful.
5. Crispy Pancit Cantonââââ- Big serving, lots of toppings and very tasty.
6. Manila Pork Bellyââ- Small serving for it's price. Crispy indeed but some of them are a little bit burned.

âïžThey offer mostly seafoods.
âïžService charge already included.
âPricey.
Rockefeller oysters are a must.
My 3yr old daughter likes the sourness of the Sinigang na Tuna Panga.
Red Crab is our go to place for all things seafood.
We ordered kilawin tnique, monggo with tinapa Bangus belly, relyenong crab and baked scallops.
The monggo was okay, light. The bangus didnât add value to the dish. But good. The relyenong crab was moist but lacks crab. But not bad. The scallop was wonderful, the best I have tasted. Buttery and cheesy. With just the hint of the sea.
The food was great! Great deal and paella was a catch! Had fun eating here. Server was very detailed regarding zomato gold rules. Although there was a time that servers for outside tables are slow.
But overall experience was great! Keep it up red crab!
The place is a bit pricey but once you take a spoonful of the food, you'll actually not mind. We had the crab roe and coconut milk mixed seafood dish (hehe couldn't remember the name) and their paella. The flavors were spot on on both the dishes. I just wish both had more seafood.
Hits the spot for any seafood craving. The coconut aligue sauce was 5 out of 5!!!!! You can definitely lick your fingers here, very satisfying serving size. Value for money.
We went there for lunch and it was worth the try! The shrimp and pork shanghai rolls was my favorite. Actually all of the dishes we bought was a thumbs up for us. We will definitely come back and try other dishes.
The food was excellent and our waitress, Jasmin provided great customer service and good dishes to try. Iâll definitely be coming back here to try more food.
Food tastes great though it took a while to have our food served, maybe because it was lunch time. Red crab has polite and friendly staff, they were very accommodating when I asked about Zomato Gold.
Food was so good. It just took a while for our food to be served. Especially the chicken bbq. It arrived when we all finished. But everything tasted so good. And since I have zomato Gold, i will definitely return
Red Crab has been a fave for us. We visit here not particularly for their crab or shrimp but mostly for the filipino dishes they offer. This has been our go to place for filipino food at shang. Food is great and service is ok.
Iâve never had crabs for the longest time. Simply because me and my husband are just so lazy to remove the shell and all. Haha! So when me and my friends decided to have crabs, I told them that am not gonna do the âpaghihimayâ thingy and am not gonna get my hands dirty. Haha! And they agreed to do it for me. So we went. Haha! We ordered the baby squid sisig, shrimps in salted egg and aligue, szechuan crab and aligue rice of course! The food were really great! We loved them all! The crab was soo huge and and sauce was to die for. Haha! One thing that I will always remember about our dinner here was the price of the crab. Haha! We paid php2,200 just for the crab! Omg! But I guess it was worth it. Total bill was php3,800 for the 3 of us. Haha! Will I visit this restaurant again? Yes!

SERVICE:The staffs are very accommodating
PLACE: It's not crowded when i ate there. And i loved itđ
PRICE: The price of their foods ranges from 199 to 600 pesos.. it's more affordable compared to other seafood restaurants
FOOD: I ordered their garlic prawns and it tastes just like any other garlic prawns being offered by other restaurants.
The place smelled old and had second thoughts about going in. This place used to be full, but we were the only customers on a friday night. The upside: good sevicr because they weren't busy.
We ordered their chicharon bulaklak which is one of their top 3 appetizers. It was good but easily got chewy after a few minutes.
The crab was a bit pricey at P220.00/100g but it was sweet, which means it was fresh. We went for the crab maritess hoping the loads of garlic will help balance out the cholesterol đ it was a little too oily at the bottom though.
UPDATE: we discovered that you can order their crab maritess with angel hair pasta. It was gooood!
We also tried their seafood salpicao. It was so-so. I didnt like the squid that came with it. It was not fresh. It was the manufactured kind.
Their dishes such as baby squid sisig with liver and pinais with gg were good.
Their sigarilyas express was delicious. Highly recommended order.
The only dish that I wouldn't recommend is their miki noodles soup. It tasted bland. Not worth ordering.
The Red Crabâs menu is all about seafood but thereâs quite a bit of variety. We had Crispy Chicaron Bulaklak (PhP 245) and Baby Squid Sisig (PhP 195) for starters. The lovely crackle on the fried pork intestines made the crunchy chicharon bulaklak an amicable affair. We could not ask more from that golden brown crispy skin.
SautĂ©ed with liver, the baby squid sisig was just average and didnât leave a good impression. The fact that I deserted the dish after the second mouthful was a clear testament. Perhaps removing the liver and putting in more onions and seasonings will make it more pleasant-tasting.
Crab Adobo (PhP 195/100g) is one of the best signature dishes at The Red Crab. Comprising a blend of various salts and spices, the fresh crabâs meat tasted naturally sweet with fried garlic and aligue. Roe lovers may expect to rejoice as thereâs more than enough to share. The sweet sauce that coated the crabs was also particularly addictive as it went well with plain rice, making a filling meal. How did I know it was fresh? The whole pincer was packed with solid meatânot the loose kind that falls apart easily.
Lapu-Lapu with Sweet and Sour Sauce (PhP 185/100g) reminded me fondly of my momâs cooking as this was one of her star dishes that would make me cancel my dinner plans to head home for a homecooked meal. The tasty sauce dressed the fish equally and the fish was deep-fried for a succulent yet crispy bite.
Lapu-Lapu with Chili Mango Sauce (PhP 185/100g) was as well a stunner. Mango sauce was tad weird for my liking though, so while the subtle sweetness of it did the lapu-lapu recipe justice, I have my preference with the more conventional technique.
To compensate for our âseafood quotaâ on that meal, we had two plates of Sigarilyas Express (PhP 245) which was served with thinly sliced winged beans and kangkong stalks. Cooked in coconut milk and chili with crisp-fried pork belly, this vegetable entrĂ©e had the right level of spiciness and a slightly sweet tinge to it. It was fine but not really a âwowâ kind of dish. Iâve had better.
Lastly, the Manila Pork Ribs (PhP 325) came with a rich glaze of sweet pineapple-infused barbecue sauce and a texture thatâs tender yet meaty. Earning compliments for its âwell rendered fat,â the pork ribs tasted robust without being overzealous. It did not have a fall-of-the-bone softness; rather, the meat was released with just a gentle tug of the teeth, not a pain to eat.

My family and i had dinner here to celebrate mom's bday and we had a blast... The thai chili crab is the best and also their lapu lapu dish (fried sha)...
We have a designated server that attends to our requests and we are very pleased with the service. Would definitely come back for some "putok-batok" experience again!
We went to red crab on a Monday evening (kinda late 9.30pm). I was not in the mood to eat crab. So we just ordered a beef dish, a fish dish and a veggie dish:
Beef Salpicao - quite good, melting in the mouth. I found it wanting in flavor though.
Paksiw na Plapla - good quantity n good taste. The veggies blended with the fish well.
Laing na buko - best dish of our visit and the best laing I've tasted yet. The presentation in a buko shell is innovative. Good balance of taste with the coconut milk.
The next visit will be for crabs!
