After trying out vengo tacos the other night, one of my companions recommended the tacos from army navy as one of the best he tried by far in manila. i got curious so decided to try their steak taco for 200php. I must say it's quite expensive for the size of the tacos but generally tacos here in manila is with that price range. Flavor wise, it's good. I finished the 3pcs in less than 10mins. It looks simple but the ingredients blended well and it turned out so good.
My personal favorite is the fearless fried chicken and freedom fries combo. Once in a while, I change it up with a burrito: usually steak or chicken. And of course, how can you forget their signature Libertea (iced tea)
Giving it 4 stars because of the staff being friendly and having good service. Even before we went inside and was just checking the menu outside, we were already greeted good evening. Boyfie and I ate here just 'coz we were craving for some burritos. That's it really.
About 3 weeks ago, I was transferred to the Makati from Ortigas office of the company I work for. This happened quite suddenly. Sure, the transfer did have a few cons, but one sure pro is that it's located smack dab in the center of Makati. It's located in the Bel-Air side, just bordering Poblacion. Plus, Ayala Center is just a mere ride away. I'm in the middle of food central baby!
Okay, no matter how many times I have eaten at Army Navy, I will admit that I have never tried their chicken wings. Well, that has all changed upon my first visit to this branch in Bel-Air recently. This branch is literally just a 3mins. walk away from work. It's one of the many 24hr joints that's close by. Anyways, on with the wings...
I ordered the classic Buffalo Wings. And just like anything on their menu, it was pretty good. It wasn't mind blowingly good, but most definitely above average. Some people find the tang of Buffalo sauce too much. Army Navy's is somewhat mellow. The skin has a light crisp, but it isn't soggy. Spice level is light, so I would say, anyone can eat it. Hey, what can I say, my tolerance to spicy food is quite high 😋🔥. In terms of the dip, Garlic Ranch was my pick. Personally, I would've preferred bleu cheese, but ranch is the other option that never fails for me. The wings and the dip complimented each other well. The only downfall was that I wished I ordered the 6pcs instead of the 4pcs. Oh well, there's always a next time.
Of course, I also ordered my fave side, and that's the Freedom Fries. They are the best fries ever! Dare I say sexy too?! LOL!
Food: 5.0 - Love it!
Price: 5.0 - I would say doable in terms of quality and size.
Service: 5.0 - Friendly, attentive, and very accomodating staff.
Ambience: 5.0 - Laid and chill back. Great place to hang with friends, or alone--any time, day or night.
With Army Navy being so close to work, I see myself eating there more in the near future. Hoping that they will have awesome food promos again. 👍💯😋
I loved their green hot sauce that is perfect for my usual order here. My favorite is their Burrito, Soft Taco and their Burger. Definitely a must try!
I love Army Navy's Chipotle chicken sandwich :)
I also started liking their milkshake again because it's now thick and creamy. I remembered ordering it a few years ago and i hated it because it doesn't taste like milkshake. But now it does :D
Always my go-to comfort food. Everytime I visit any branch, I always order the Chipotle Chicken Burger.
For this visit, I tried the Chorizo Naked Burrito. And it did not disappoint.
Also tried the Steak Breakfast Burrito. It was so filling. Ready to perk you up for a busy day ahead.
The Cheesy Bacon Fries was so sinful, yet irresistable.
And to accompany all these, is a large order of Libertea.
Yum yum!!!
aside from the other menus, they also have one of the best desserts. their pancake is also great and also their freedom toast not sure they still have them though but this brownie ala mode is great wish it was little thicker though
Looking for a quick bite last night, we ended up here since they have parking (maximum of 2 hours, then you have to pay a minimal fee.). We had their beef burrito with cheese which was good and very filling. I actually just noticed that they offer churros so I also ordered their churros with caramel dip. I liked it as it wasn't oily, the caramel dip was delicious too.
Service was really quick and the place wasn't that big, but it was clean. They also have their own cr, they din't have wifi but I think that goes for all other Army Navy branches hehe
Open 24 hours, that's the best thing about this place! Branch is clean and cozy with some slightly inclined parking spaces at the front and side, which shouldn't really be a problem at night or early morning. They have a guard outside for car safety. Umbrella holder is also available outside. Other payment options offered are GCash and PayMaya. Food quality and speed of service are consistent with other branches. Set Meal is still a great option for 1-2 people.
