Their August menu is superb. Chef Jack Flores really made an impression on me & my friends especially with the Octopus, Foie Gras and the Rib Eye slab. Prices are reasonable for the taste and presentation. But best of all, the ambience at Made Nice is suitable for family dinners and corporate get togethers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
the food, the service, the staff and crew!!! Food is to die for!! the taste is exquisite... will definitely go back!
Loved their octopus. The serving size of the steak was really good for sharing although my mom found it a bit too salty. The place had nice interiors but even if the restaurant was non-smoking, you could smell the scent of cigarettes coming in since guests are allowed to smoke outside the place. The restaurant had good service tho and you have to try their chocolate tart for dessert.
I really enjoyed our dining experience with Made Nice! Their menu is direct to the point, and is not overwhelming to see. Among the dishes we tried, I liked the duck best! It was really good when paired with the sweet potato puree.
They also have one of the best staff service amongst all the restaurants I’ve tried. You won’t even need to ask for more water as they were all extra attentive and would refill your glass before it actually empties out. I would also like to express my thanks to Ms Gabbi for ensuring a hassle-free dining reservation and for being easy and friendly to talk to. Thanks also to the complimentary Pavlova from the resto!
The Pork, on the other hand, is a 16-hour pork belly which has an awesome balance of crunch and tenderness. It was served with an eggplant chutney which lent the pork with a unique smoky taste. There was also a finely chopped Ensalada but it's best to eat it separately. Anyway, paired with tutong rice, it's a tasty main which I'm sure Lloyd would enjoy as well.

I was intimidated at first to eat here but now I know there’s no reason to be! The food is reasonably priced, beautifully presented and well thought of and the service was excellent (sadly I didn’t catch the name of the female server who was assigned to us at the second floor). I enjoyed everything we ordered, it was a mix of affordable and pricey dishes so you can mix and match to suit your budget.
- chicken liver pate with spiced honey, pickled onions served with pita and sourdough
- the pate was a lot so we ordered an extra plate of pita
- prawn “okonomiyaki”
- corn with white cheese, lemon and togarashi
- chicken “karaage” with yuzu glaze and gochujang (reminds me of Panda Express’ orange chicken and I mean it in a good way because I loooooove Panda Express LOL)
- vongole pasta with manila clams and white wine (I prefer it with freshly grated parmesan, request from the server)
- steak with corn, spinach and steak rice
- barramundi with cauliflower puree, mentaiko cream
- 16 hour pork belly with eggplant, ensalada and tutong rice (I wonder if next time I order this I can exchange the rice to just the regular plain one because we actually didn’t enjoy the tutong rice, “cute” idea but my tastebuds don’t agree hehe)
- some of us shared a bottle of red wine too. If i’m not mistaken you can also bring your own bottle and just pay corkage of ₱500 (I think)
You can easily park in Power Plant Mall and just cross over to Made Nice, the nearest exit/entrance doors would be the one near Mo’ Cookies or the one by BPI/BDO.
P.S. It’s good (or required?) that they have their own restroom since they’re not located in the mall itself, but there’s only one (unisex) restroom which is located by the kitchen entrance and beside the cashier too so 1) when the place is packed, you have to line up for several minutes to use the restroom and 2) that area can be crowded and servers passing through to and from the kitchen and the cashier.
Great food and great service. Really loved their burger and halibut with tutong rice.
Really accommodating and attentive staff, I mentioned I was pregnant and one of the staff mentioned she researched what can’t be eaten during pregnancy and went out of her way to adjust the cooking and ingredients. The food is tasty although portions are a bit small.
Went here on Sunday evening and super enjoyed our cozy dinner! Had a glass of Argentinean Malbec each.
Our starters were a creamy Chicken Liver Pate and tasty Prawn Okomomiyaki. The latter was a breaded prawn cake topped with grated Okomomiyaki.
Our mains were an excellent 16 hour Pork Belly with eggplant chutney and tutong rice. And Pesto which is a homemade chitarra egg pasta in pesto sauce.
I was just really impressed by everything that we ordered. 🤗 It's right beside Plant so it's also convenient if you want to try somethint outside the mall for a change. The place is very nice and really great for intimate lunch or dinner dates. I would suggest reserving a table in advance since they seem to have a lot of lunch meetings booked here. The pulpo was really the star of the show. The octopus was tender and yummy! It's a big serving too so that was a plus for me. The roast belly was so good. It was tender and just juicy. The eggplant puree that came with it was also good. This already came with rice so it was really worth the price. The halibut was really great too. It has a bit of a stronger kind of flavor especially with the dashi that came with it. This was also really good. Overall I enjoyed the place a lot and I would definitely come back. 🤗
Probably the best Tres Leches I've had in Manila. I wanted to cry after the last bite.
Always amazing food. The octopus dish is def my fave. The duck was another amazing pick. The pesto pasta ..id give a 3.5/5. Maybe it just didn’t stick out as much because the duck was so good and flavorful. The fish dish (forgot the type of fish..) was good, but the soupiness of it put me off, but maybe that’s just because I wasn’t expecting it.. the tres leches i was told was a best seller but it was personally way too sweet for me. I miss their banana bread pudding which they used to have a long time ago. Would buy a bunch of those if i could! Great ambiance & food!
