Rapsa!!! The best and original..sure na babalikan
Bacolod Chicken House is the lesser known inasal place here in the Metro but is once of the best known ones if you are in Bacolod.
So if you are an inasal fan, you should head to BCH and try their inasal.
BCH has a distinct flavor different from the others. And I would say that it's the same as the ones I have tasted in Bacolod.
I always get the Pecho (breast part) beacuse it is bigger and meatier than the Paa (leg part). The petcho in BCH is smaller than what you get in Mang Inasal or JTs Manukan but it's one of the juiciest inasal you could get. Get an order or two of Garlic Rice and maybe a side of Atay (liver).
Of course, this branch is bare and simple. It's the chicken inasal that shines.
Chicken reigns supreme at Bacolod Chicken House. My favorite order is the Pakpak with two cups of garlic rice. Depending on the weight or size of the wings you can get either two or three pieces. The wings are good, very flavorful meat, with a bit of charring on the skin but not too much, just enough to give that inahaw taste. Always a top choice among the places in the Metro.
April 21, 2018 This is the nearest branch to Don Bosco Church in Makati so we decided to head here for dinner. We ordered the following:
Pecho - according to Deckard they have the tastiest wings
Garlic Rice - theirs is just plain rice topped with toasted garlic bits. We always drizzle this with chicken oil and it's the bomb when you do that. Everything tastes better with chicken oil.
Chicken sisig - good but I want more liver in mine. It had some but not a lot.
Pork sisig - Puppycat loves pork sisig. This was ok too.
Ensaladang talong with bagoong - you have to order this. They make this side dish so good. It's simple but easy to foul up and I'm so glad they do this dish so well. We've ordered this from them several times in the past and so far it has never changed. The bagoong is served separately, you'd have to mix it all in which is fine by me.
Isol - crunchy, tasty and fatty which translates to delicious
Sago't gulaman - for 65 pesos it comes in a tall plastic tumbler with lots of crushed ice and generous portions of tapioca balls and jello squares. It's both a drink and a dessert. I just think though they should dial down the sugar a notch. It's too sweet for me.
Service was good. I noticed that all of the old waiters are gone, it's mostly new people on their staff now.
We love Filipino food!
First time here to check how good their Ilonggo dishes are. Well, all were surprisingly good and delicious. I can say this is one of the unnoticed spots in Makati to get the best Inasal and Molo.
The highlight of my trip here was the Molo Soup. It was served hot and the broth had a rich flavor to it. The Molos were aplenty and overtaken the contents of the bowl. The wrapper was satisfyingly great with its slippery and gelatinous texture.
As to the Chicken Inasal, the Pecho was was juicy and moist. The marinate was not tangy compared to other known Inasal stores. It was good.
If you are looking for some true to the taste of inasal in Metro Manila, try it here. The chicken here is a bit pricier as compared to Mang Inasal but if cost is not much an issue,it is better to eat here compared to the former because it is less crowded.
