Same owner as Nihon... Almost the same menu and price but bigger servings! And they're open til the wee hours so it's good for late night runs or for night shifters who want to grab a quick bite after work!
Service was great! Staff were very attentive. Learned that they’re sister companies with Nihonbashitei. We were supposed to dine at Nihonbashitei but because there was no parking, we decided to look for someplace else to eat. We chanced upon Ohsama and decided to try. We recognized some menu items were similar and asked the staff and they confirmed that Ohsama and Nihonbashitei were indeed sister companies.
Hubby and I loved Ohsama’s service more and we’ll definitely go back here.
Love their Mango Kani salad. Servings were huge and prices were reasonable. We were happy with everything we ordered. They even gave us complimentary hot/cold tea.
Shoyou Ramen is P200.00 with promo to add P100.00 for 3 pieces of gyōza and a cup of brown rice. The ramen noodles is firm just the way I like, it has 2 thick slices of very tender pork in a big bowl, broth tastes good as well. Some of the meals were quite expensive. What I don't like is the table is a bit sticky. The staff did not offer their house tea, you will have to ask. We were 6 but they only gave us 3 glasses of water. Customer service could be improved. They have a different treatment for the Japanese customers, for whatever reason I don't know.
Went here at about 1AM. Clean place, nice waiters. Their Kabuki ramen was great. Had it twice. The beef was delicious and the sauce on the ramen is unique.
Ohsama Ramen is a no frills ramen/ Japanese food joint which is located at the busy A. Arnaiz Avenue or formerly known as Pasay Road. Good thing about this place is that they open until late! Best for satisfying your late night Japanese fix without blowing your budget.
They have a wide range of offerings ranging from Ramen, Yakitori, Dons, Sushi & Sashimi and many more. I had a Shoyu Ramen and a plate of gyozas at the side. Taste wise I am very satisfied.
Service was friendly and attentive, I was the only person dining there during one late night and a power interruption hit the restaurant. The staffs were quick in providing me candle so I can see; placing their phones on my table for temporary light while they went to get the candles. They apologized profusely for the power cut even if it wasn't their fault. For this I highly recommend this place, their service is not as bad as the other reviewers.
I love the Karubi Ramen! Its spicy noodle soup and tender beef is a perfect match! I will definitely come back for this food. I also appreciate that one bowl of ramen is good for sharing. Divided one order of ramen into two bowls, was not able to finish mine since the servings was still big. If you ordered one ramen, you can buy gyoza and chahan rice for only 100 pesos. Chahan rice was also a good try! It has many ingredients in the rice.
A 4.5 not just because it can satisfy your 3 AM sushi cravings but also becaue of their delicious food. It is worth the early morning trips and the price.
Just recently, this became my most favorite japanese restaurant. I always want to have their Ebi Tempura, Tofu Salad & California Maki. I fell in love with these dishes and will always go back to have them. They have the best quality of a Japanese dish with the generosity of its serving & the amount you'll pay for, it's totally worth it!!!

This was a surprising find at 3am or so in the morning. I was wandering home from the Little Tokyo area when I stumbled upon this place. I was hungering for Japanese food, and lo and behold this place presented itself to me.
Staff weren't as attentive as they should have been, and so the service suffered a little bit. You can see the cooks, and they do notice when you need or want something and notify the servers.
As far as food goes, I had, I think it was, Shoyu Ramen, and the taste was quite lovely, the price was more than affordable too. That meal was one of the few times that I'd finished even the soup/broth of a ramen meal. It was just that good.
As I hadn't had uni sashimi in a while, I ordered a plate of that goodness too, and it really was good. Just the right amount and the taste was heavenly.
I'll definitely be returning one of these lonely nights for more of that ramen and uni sashimi.
Had the tonkotsu ramen. Broth was flavorful and they didn't scrimp on the noodles and pork. Husband liked his beef sukiyaki bowl and clams (asari butter) which were pleasantly flavorful and huge! Though service was not really something to look forward (note there were many waitresses who seem to have mastered the habit of ignoring or playing deaf), we may decide to come back because food was good and priced reasonably.
