My girlfriend and I came here on a weekday. There were just three tables that were occupied. Upon entering the establishment, we were greeted with warm smiles and the waitress immediately came to our table and handed us the menu. We ordered the Platter 2, Miso soup, and Furikake Onigiri. The waitress talked to us like she was very happy to have us in the restaurant. Their miso soup was, I think, the typical instant dashi granules but nonetheless, filling. The skewers were grilled right - tasty, juicy and not dry. (I never thought okra could go well with bacon!) The Furikake Onigiri was amazing! I ordered San Mig Pilsen but they don't have it so I got the Super Dry instead. Water refills came without us asking them to do so. That's a plus on my list! (Not many small restaurants do that.)
What I like about this place is the great service and the good food. I have yet to try this restaurant on a Friday or Saturday.
My only suggestion is to expand the restaurant's beer selection (serve Asahi, Sapporo, perhaps?)
