Thanks to google map, I found this hidden place :D
Love the food (I ordered their bestseller bulalo and durian ice cream), the ambience and the people.

It's a family-run restaurant with a special side-menu - Gerry's Picks. These are specialty dishes from Pampanga that used to be exclusive to the family kitchen. Now, they are offering it to the public. I tried the Lechon in Heaven - cooked lechon that has been put to the grill together with ripe tomatoes. You squash the grilled tomatoes and douse it with fish sauce (patis). This now becomes the sauce for the lechon. It's an interesting take on something familiar. The salad was also a home-run. With the addition of the salted fish instead of plain salt, it's an engaging new flavor that added dimension to the accompanying greens. Gerry's Picks is a refreshing deviation from the sugba offerings of Davao.
My husband and I had lunch here. I was surprised how a cozy place had such an extensive menu! The flavors are familiar Filipino with the sophistication of modern culinary combinations that makes the meal exciting and novelle. E.g. bagoong dressing on the smoked fish salad, al dente pasta with tuyo, vinegary sisig with crunchy pig ears reminding me of one of the favorite dishes of my Bulakenyo Dad, tokwa't baboy! And to close the meal, ice cream liqueur from a domestic distiller. Cheers to Bistro Ni Tuding for elevating Pinoy flavors! We will be back!
