After shopping, my wife and I decided to try the Halo-halo version of Kuya J's because we've heard that it taste really good. Halo-halo by the way is a Filipino cold dessert made of crushed ice, milk and ingredients like ube, leche flan, beans, etc. We ordered the ube halo-halo espesyal and surprisingly it does taste really good. It was creamier too and very filling. It is not too sweetened like most halo-halo out there. The only thing I didn't like about is it has fewer added ingredients in it but it was still okay. I also recommend their affordable palabok. It's a must try!
When you're craving for some Filipino food, this is the place to be! Really good food and the price is alright. Restaurant is neat and well maintained. Service is fast too. Although, for the halo halo, I kinda don't like how they tweaked the taste and ingredients, but I also know some people who like it. I guess you just have to taste it? hahaha
I really love to dine here at SM seaside’s branch of Kuya J because it is not too crowded plus you can really enjoy the halo2 without having to be in a hurry because og crowd queue
