It’s our first time celebrating our anniversary (6th) at DVRL and it's worth a memory. It is exciting at the same time its fascinating milieu that brought us back in history. We're not intimidated but felt very welcome to pamper ourselves and the instrumental music that plays is so relaxing. First served: The Calamares The dish is great. The crispiness blends its tenderness, a well done served. The Flavour balances from the saltiness with the creamy mayonnaise dip. It’s just what you want. Next we have Asadas Mexicana de Cerdo Mexican sauce. A vegetables side dish for the main course. The salsa is a combination of great sweetness, acidity and a little saltiness with clean fresh-taste tomatoes where everything melts into one, even with the corn in it, it's pretty special. These are the few things where still a lot of flavour could happen once your taste buds enjoys it. I could finish it without second thought. Mexican pork roasts the main course. The meat is very well done served. A perfect medium-rare tenderness. Sweet, smoky, a nice balance but probably more forward dishes as far one thing you get a lot more sweetness but in a very nice refine ways, natural sweetness and with the balance of spiciness but not overdone. A luxurious presentation with an enticing aroma. The aroz: A perfect mixture of spices with some corn. Not too saltiness and not tasteless. It completes the heavenly taste of the side dish vegetables salsa to the main course pork roast. Add. Order: aroz con ajo. What can I say? I love the pleasant smell of it and the little crunchiness of toasted garlic. Request: Maybe a white plate will be good so I can see the beauty of the dish and some plating techniques. It's a miracle I can still remember a thing at all. An extraordinary tasty meal. Delectable masterpiece. Congratulations for the well done service.

Don Vicente is a very nice and unique Restaurant, with very delicious meals, specially the pasta, i liked their Spaghetti Bolognese so much, real Italian Kitchen, and a great taste. Also the steak we had was very good, and if the owner knows, that you like to have meat, he will look for a very good quality. The house wine Gato Negro was excellent and at least this all you get for a very fair price. I will return in this restaurant when i'm in Zamboanga City again. Thanks for the evening we stayed

One of the best restaurants in Zamboanga. Their Asada is fork tender and perfectly seasoned. Their pasta is authentic Italian pasta. Simple yet delcious and cooked to a perfect al dente. If you are in Zamboanga, Don Vicente is a must try!

DVLR is definitely one of the best fine dining restaurants in the Asia's Latin City! Aside from the superb, cozy ambiance, this resto offers an array of palatable Mexican and Italian cuisines. I love the Asadas Mexicana selections the most! Their pasta choices are scrumptious and perfectly al dente. Their arroz Cubana is a must try too! DVLR is highly recommended indeed! Great resto and great gastronomic experience! *Five stars from me!*
