I absolutely love this place! With the app Eatigo, we come here at least twice a week and take advantages of the 50% discount.
I highly recommend their crispy pata, grilled pork belly and of course their shrimps. They’re cooked fresh and served hot.
I also love the grunge-y feel of the place, with the scribbles on the wall and simple furniture - which overall makes it a unique hole-in-the-wall type of resto.
Can’t wait to visit again! 😅

A quaint restaurant with walls covered with writings is situated on the roadside of SRP (Talisay I believe -I'm from the north so pardon my lack of description of the location). Heard about this resto from a doctor friend. Was craving for shrimps so Red Hipon came to mind. I ordered shrimp (of course 😁) with red hipon signature sauce, sinuglaw, and tuna panga (we were 3 btw ☺️)
Verdict:
-the shrimp was oh so fresh like you can taste the sweetness in your mouth. There was something missing with the sauce though but all in all I had a happy tummy
- the sinuglaw was just simply mouth watering.
- the tuna panga was as expected... tastes like tuna panga, but one takeaway is the generous serving that they have for a fair price.

This simple, unassuming restaurant at the side of SRP (Nearing Talisay) Southbound road comes off as rugged and super casual at first, which makes it such a hidden gem. The interior walls are flooded with handwritten messages which really gives the place it's signature "bugoy" feel. You're welcomed with warm smiles by their staff once you enter.
Let's get started with the food: I ordered the sweet and spicy shrimps (you can choose crab or the mussels) with moderate spicy-ness (you can choose the level of spice for the dish) and this costs just less than 200 pesos! I also went along and ordered their pork BBQ (such a steal---2 pcs for 55pesos).
Verdict: the shrimps were really fresh! I would know as soon as they touch my tongue. If i feel an itch, then it definitely isn't fresh. This one was so fresh that the shrimps' meat was clear and plump and the skin was so easy to peel off. There is something lacking in the flavour, but I was too happy to even discredit this super fresh dish.
The pork bbq---- is probably the best bbq i've tasted! Got me saying, "WOW". Why? They were in good-sized pieces and the meat... was so soft and easy to bite into! I didn't even need to dip it in their sauce.
This place really surprised me. Definitely coming back for the pork Bbq 😅😅😅

I so love it in here. It's a great view from the buzzling sound of the cars and vehicles passing by. I love the ambiance, it's refreshing but for the fact that mosquitoes are everywhere so better bring some sanitizer of anti mosquito lotion to avoid from itching all the time but considering about the foods, well! I loved it all even if I have some allergies but that didn't stop me from eating their delectable crabs. Huhuhuhu It was so cheap, my partner and I ate the foods in bare hands, the drinks tasted great. We all feel satisfied with their servings. It was a SATISFACTION indeed.
