Bamboo House Korean Bbq Restaurant

Affordable korean BBQ but the quality of the meat is good and staffs are attentive. I love the ambience and layout of the place. It is not crowded and every table can enjoy a little privacy. They just needs to improve on the supply of their side dishes. They always run out of fish cake or egg roll which is our favorite.

Food, ambiance and service were great. But meat order is kinda pricey for 180g 320pesos per person. Side dishes were all delicious and unlimited. Waiters were attentive to refill the side dishes.

This review is as of Nov2019. We visited Bamboo house because it was a stone’s throw away from our home. Fb and zomato says it opens at 11, which is the same as what’s on their door. Arrived 11:02 so we don’t get to be with the usually crowded noon time. We were turned away saying they open at 11:30. It would’ve been nice if they apologized for not being ready for service despite their own posted sched. We didn’t object since they might still be adjusting as a new resto. The first impression wasn’t too promising. So we waited for their service to open to see if there’s redeeming grace.

We ordered pork shoulder, pork belly and beef flap tail and rice. Side dishes are all refillable. House rice tea is complimentary and I have to mention is quite good. The food is comparable to other K.BBQ place.

The redeeming grace is the friendly and proactive staff. Daryl ensured to perfectly cook the bbq. When I ordered additional meat, he recommended the one that’s more tender compared to my first choice. It was even a bit cheaper than my first choice. They also regularly checked if we needed side dish refills.

It’s more expensive here compared to Poblacion Kbbq or samgyupsalamat. But the service is really commendable. Ambiance is also good. The music is american pop which doesn’t really match the general aesthetics.

Overall a good experience and worth going back to but not at 11am.
