Last night, I was invited to feature the latest Chowking dish in Sweet & Sour Chicken, a twist on the common pork and fish variety.
Is it better? Personally, I would have to say yes. The texture and taste of chicken is much better than meat and seafood, not to mention, a healthier choice. Expect a bite that’s crisp, with a right balance of sweet and tangy flavors.
The best part of Sweet & Sour Chicken is the price. It is only Php 79 with rice and side kropek. Just add Php 15 if you wish to upgrade it with egg fried rice.
I also got to enjoy a cup of Chowking’s Milk Tea, with the bold element of tea leaves present. Our group was also served tons of fried Buchi, a sticky classic Chinese dessert.
When you're a fast food goer, this is the place to go.
With very affordable price. For Php 200, you can buy lots of their food. From chao fan to lauriat and some dimsum.
What can you say? Aside from the classic mixed rice with dimsum. Which is our "go to" lunch meal most of the time. I just love their Milky white halohalo specially when summer is just around the corner.
now here's a fair competition for my beloved #Razon's. im not a fan of the halo-halo per se because it confuses me (and the effort) to chew on all of 'em lil many things. 3-5 ingredients are enough to satisfy me for an ice shaved treat, not counting the ice of course. Chowking offers their white halo-halo w/c consists of some what like Razon's offer: saba, macapuno, leche flan, evap milk. however, its a lil dense and richer (because of their addition of a scoop of macapuno ice cream+custard) and a lil cruchy for they added pinipig. and for a lil kick of sweetness, they drizzled caramel sauce. once your spoon starts to pave the way for this snow dessert to 'mix-mix' and you put it in your mouth, you stop to salivate and just savor the flavor and that instant cool it brings to your body for just 82php.
