It's not the first time we ate and drank in Tipsy Pig, but for the first time, I will right a review for this commendable place. Hear me out please!
1. Atmosphere and Environment
Ok, heads-up, this place is usually packed with lots of happy people. So don't expect expect to get a seat right a way. There is a reason why this place is always packed and I will detail more below. The choice of music here is not really remarkable, and the volume quite loud inside, but you can have a decent conversation outside. The air-conditioning always cool and if you stay outside, natural breeze flows well.
You will definitely notice the architecture here. Well planned spaces and use of material like wood and a bar with backlit onyx stone. They have one of the best architecture / interior. Not to mention theit toilets are well maintained and proper working lavatory and tissue all the time. Never fail. One time I walked in and a dude was puking all over, but they cleaned it immediately.
2. Food and Drinks
Value for money every peso you spend here is really worth more than you are spending. The serving scale here is beyond the right size, but the cost way lower than the equivalent. You should try the pork chop! But if you're not really pork person, despite this place being named Tispy Pig, they have a lot of alternatives. We love the blue marlin, beef salpicao, etc. Drinks here very economical and comes faster than you can say, "Can we follow up our drinks?".
3. Service
We have been here many times, but every now and then then, there are servers who deliver beyond what is expected. Like today, I was with very difficult-to-please and bordering rude patrons, but "Zy" or "Zyra" was always smiling and quick despite rude treatment. I embarrassed that our companion was rude and she was putting up with all this, but she was cool about it. On top of that, she knows the menu, best sellers, and she was always on the dot. She turned around our experience and made it quite pleasant. I would say she is, "A gem amidst the chaos". I really hope management will notice this.
Yes, at times kinda hard to call waiters here, but to put things in perspective, there are so many patrons. If you complain about crap like you are not being served, perhaps there is something wrong with the way you present yourself?
4. Overall
Tipsy Pig is probably one of the best gastro pub in the metro. I would recommend this place to locals and my business partners any time. I hope they would keep up with their current standard.
I would definitely go back to Tipsy Pig with people I highly value because "hindi ako mapahiya". Cheers!
Great place for dining and chillin! Staffs are great too, thanks James and Glenn for the great service! On a plus side, every Tuesday is girls night. �
Vibe was great. Caramel beer ❤️ and cocktails (mojito, wengweng, margarita) all tasted good. The mojito tasted the best and the Wengweng was strong😊. The baked tahong and fries were yummy. Service can be slow at times (we’d had to follow up twice for some orders). Milkshake took an hour. The staff were accommodating they made an effort to seat our huge group and were allowed to transfer once it started drizzling. Not sure if this is protocol but when I initially called we were told we needed to buy bottles (not just consumable but bottles), when we walked in instead we were told we could purchase the amount in other types of alcohol. This is a bit confusing and deterred us from making a reservation.
It’s my first time to try draft beer!!!!! And for me it was fire!! The sisig nachos is the best! A little bit pricey but i think it’s worth the price the service is good and the ambiance is nice!
Tipsy pig provides delicious food and refreshing cocktails through excellent service. The staff were ever so kind and attentive to our needs, going so far to put a candle on our table to boost the mood. We tried The Number 4, a four cheese thin crust pizza, it tasted fresh and had an herb aroma; Jack and Coke Ribs, honestly the best bang in the buck we got for ribs, the serving was big considering the price, the ribs were as long as a standard pencil and were very tender. The mashed potatoes creamy but had chunks that elevated the texture and the vegetables were crunchy, cooked to perfection in my opinion; a flavored margarita and sangria, both refreshing and had a nice ratio. We came around 2 pm on a Sunday, there were only two tables occupied making the place quiet and relaxing to be at.
The food is the best part of this place, w a great ambience. Perfect for a night out to unwind. The butter shrimp, chicken skin nachos and their dirty nachos are our go to treats along w their caramel beer.
I love this Filipino restaurant. The pork belly, sisig tacos, and all the rest of the dishes are good. Food quality is also consistent everytime I am back.
This is a good place to hang-out and chill on a Friday Night. Also a nice place to have a meal during lunchtime when it's more peaceful and quiet.
I remember trying their pizza and pasta, which I both liked, but I liked their Salisbury Steak the best.
The crew was nice and swift in serving during lunch as their peak hours are usually around dinner. The ambiance of the ground floor is much better than of the second floor.
But all in all, it's a good place to eat and my tummy has been happy.
One of the best places to visit for drinks and more. Service was okay. We usually only come here for drinks and some chips. I like the the vibe of this place.
Tried their Mojito and loved their mix! Their Spiced Chicken Quesadilla was very filling and was really good. Was worth the price.
We just didn’t appreciate the super loud music that we had to leave and move to a quieter restaurant. We can no longer hear each other. I don’t suggest you book a table inside if you’re looking to have a good conversation.
A good place to eat and drink to unwind. Fridays are jam-packed as it's the time to recharge from a very tiring week. Everything on the menu are must tries depending on your cravings.
Tipsy Pig's Beer Can Chicken was one of the many dishes that turned this place as one of the hot spots for night out with friends. Fast forward to 2019, we've seen several restobars close down in less than a year but Tipsy Pig stayed relevant in the market by offering crowd favorites like wings, salmon steak and rib eye steak. Yes, Tipsy Pig offers superb bar chow and a lot more.
Very affordable and yummy place. Pork tacos and quesadilla is very nice. Pizza is okay, but i would prefer thick crust instead. Considering some other places in the area, beer options are wide and prices great!
