Despite the many bad reviews i saw.. i decided to try this yesterday. To my surprise,One of the best japanese restos i've tried so far. You get your money's worth with their ribeye and tenderlpin teppan. Definitely going back. Yes, they do serve the sushu rolls by pieces however it is indicated on the paper you fill out when you order (you just have to read it). They normally advise you that yoy order everything at once because expectations were set that it may take a while for the 2nd order since they make everything per order so yes, ubhave to expect to wait ( youbare not the only one being served)
Cleanliness 4 of 5
Food servings not that big/plenty so u have to order a lot.
Taste 5 of 5
Price 4 of 5
Service 4 of 5 ( not at best but it was ok for me to leave them a generous tip)
First time dining here since it opened. We had the unli promo for just P1,188++ per person. For me, that's really affordable considering the premium options. I really enjoyed their aburi sushi - and I'm glad they allow you to choose per piece. I ended up ordering almost all the premium aburi sushi so I can taste them all. My favorite would be the ebi aburi sushi. But I thoroughly enjoyed all their rolls and sushi. (I think I ate almost 15-20 variants of their sushis alone!) Aside from their premium sushi, they also have this really good US tenderloin cooked 3 ways - with garlic, with mushroom sauce, and with pepper sauce. The meat is really soft and tender. My favorite would be the mushroom because it tasted a bit like truffle. Lastly, I love the uni options especially the uni chawanmushi! Once you taste this baby, you won't even consider eating the normal chawanmushi because the taste would be so bland. I love the uni chawanmushi the most because it's silky and tastes like the sea. Will definitely come back again.
One of the best ever Japanese buffet theme restos in the Metropolis. Reasonably priced for a classy resto.
Class AAA
Hood stuff.. More on the pricy side but none the less... LEGIT! Ambiance is good service is better... Will have to come back here.. Save up money first though hahha
Ordering teppanyaki and momo teri maki. The teppanyaki is good but not something that ‘Wow’ us. It’s pricey as well even though they are offering discount. Momo teri maki is delicious and unique. Wrapped in foil with melted mozzarella on top.
One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the Metro. I appreciate their attention to details and most importantly, their use of the FINEST ingredients flown in from Japan. Our favorites are the A4 & A5 Ishiyaki Matsusaka plates and the sashimi and sushi otoro.
Its been days but I still cant take off that tenderloin and foie gras on my mind! Salmon sashimi melts in your mouth 😍 the only thing I didnt like was their Ebi tempura, bland and soggy. But overall, i be coming back for this!!!
My go to Japanese restaurant in SM Aura. The quality of food you get is worth the value of the money. Sometimes the chef entertains the guests by showing tricks while cooking.
Been here specially for sushies and this place didn't let me down. Ordered one salmon sushie, beef roll and seafood fried rice. Each of the item was mind blowing though the beef roll seems a bit sweet to me.
We had a tremendously delightful first experience at Ogetsu! The salmon teppan was heavenly; the wagyu extemely tender, and the sweet shrimp maki melt-in-your mouth delish! On top of it, the staff was warm, friendly, and attentive. Thanks, Ogetsu! Definitely coming back!
