I rarely visit Uptown Mall since I live in Makati. I only visit BGC when I have to meet some friends and family. But in those rare times that I do, I'm really glad I can find awesome restaurants with good food AND service. One of them is this WATAMI branch. First of all, I really love the house tea. It's nice to sip a hot cup of tea while waiting for your food! Every time I go to Japanese restaurants, my basic order would be GYOZA + BEEF BOWL. Watami's gyoza is surprisingly one of the best ones I've ever had so far. I also love their mozzarella balls. Though I was already full after eating my beef bowl, I'm glad I still made some room for it! ❤🍵🥘
Selling of bistro card was too aggressive.
The serving and the quality justifies its prices. The service is good, the ambiance is great, and the location is convenient too. I love this place!
I brought my friends here to have lunch for my birthday. We went on a Saturday and took advantage of the 50% treat from Citibank. We ordered the mozzarella balls, nori nachos, shrimp tempura, assorted skewers, king dragon roll, salmon stone pot, pork chashu, sliced beef, I forgot the other dish 😁, then for the drinks we had the kiwi cooler, orange yakult, green mango shake, and a Bottomless iced tea for one of my friends. Everything was delicious, and my friends were so full and satisfied when we left. The staff were polite, and the place has ample seating. The only problem is the restroom is located inside Texas Roadhouse which is quite a walk if you are inside Watami. Anyway, the overall experience is fine and we'll probably be back. Thank you.
The family is always on the look out for new promo or products from The Bistro Group. So it is not a surprise that the piggery found out about Watami's latest offering- TENDON LUNCH BOWLS starting at P275 from 11 am to 5 pm
For this budget-conscious-mom-of-4, the come-on was its price.

Their king dragon sushi roll and grilled premium salmon head never disappoints!
Watami is our favorite sushi restaurant. :)
Rice bowls are awesome, suggest you ask them to cook it as they can do a better job of it, if we do it ourselves, we end up burning the bottom layer of rice.
Get a BFF card, sulit!
The foods are averagely nice and the services are at the top notch. The guy who served me, I assume is their manager, he did his best at serving us, as satisfying every single request of mine. I would definitely recommend for a come back meal for sure. Peace out, love from Malaysia.

Wataminis one of my go-to Japanese restaurants. The food is delicious and reasonably priced for students plus if you have a bistro card you can save more. The servers are also accommodating and gives good suggestions.
One of the best casual Japanese restaurants in the metro. Try their Sukiyaki Hotpot, assorted skewers, volcano roll. Friendly and promp staff!
