The Classic was close to the authentic takoyaki I've tried in Osaka. Definitely no cabbage and a mochi-like texture. Kyotako had octopus chunks in every takoyaki ball, too!
[Classic / Negi Takoyaki]
Classic Takoyaki has a big chunk of tako, onion leeks and tenkatsu.
It's topped off with good serving bonito flakes.
The Negi variant is the same as original but replaces the bonito flakes with a good serving of mayonnaise and negi (spring onion).
Fast service. I tried Negi and Classic and maybe it’s just me but each takoyaki piece is very filling, you’ll be full in no time. My personal favorite is the Negi flavored takoyaki 💗
We ordered their classic takoyaki and their best seller, mentaiko. Evrything was so good, the takoyakis were freshly cooked and served hot. The octopus were big and the dough in the takoyaki is smooth and rich in flavor. If one should crave for takoyaki, they should definitely try kyotako. The staff was also very accommodating and Ac is very cool so u wont feel the summer heat!

I guess I can say that this is the best takoyaki so far that i tasted...i admit that im not that into takoyaki since i seldom eat on japanese restos and if i do..i usually order ramen or udons..nontheless the price, size and flavor did not disappoint me 😊 recommended for those looking for good serving, price and taste.
Takoyaki here is amazing and just pure ❤❤❤ considering I've been to Osaka, this came really close to the authentic ones. Try their Mentaiko. Only reason why I didnt give 5 is because there are always no seats available and they don't put the effort to ask non-customers to vacate the outside tables for their paying customers. Other than that, great product and idea!
This place is underrated. This place is just beside Serenitea. They have a generous amount of takoyaki in one serving. One ball is almost good for two. The octupus inaide is big as well. I love it. Flavorful!
The food and ambiance is good and the staff is quite friendly. Although I only have one serious negative issue: they don't serve any sort of beverage. Not even house water. I hope they consider providing water for their customers.
Edit: They now serve water ! But you have to buy it. Haha. Still, their takoyaki is yum!
