The food is super sulit. Affordable!
The food here was excellent but prices were on the high side. The large (huge!, plump, and perfectly cooked!) prawn covered in crab fat was the highlight. The butterflied Pla Pla fish - a signature of what seems to be common to all the LJC group (Cafe Adriatico) restaurants, was also fairly good. The Gising Gising was also a tasty, as well as the fried pork knuckle and Pochero Especial which was slightly sour almost like a sinigang. Be prepared to eat a lot of rice with the food being this good! Pleasantly surprised eating here, as we were only 1 of 2 tables to eat noontime on a Saturday. Dessert sizes were small though also satisfying.

Lorenzo’s way is a really nice place to have a quiet dinner. It’s classy woodsy interiors and calm music gave me the fancy feel. They offered a complimentary snack while we were waiting for our dishes to be served. The four season smoothie was okay, I didn’t like the strawberry part at the bottom. It was too strong for me. The paella valenciana was perfect! Great for two people. It was very flavorful. I also highly recommend the garlic chicken. It was something new but something familiar at the same time. The garlic were in cloves so it gave the different garlicky taste. What I like about it best is it didn’t taste malansa at all. I’m quite picky with non-fried chicken, especially those cooked with skin not removed but this one gets my approval. :)
We have had the opportunity to read so many poignant stories about everyday people coping with the realities of death in inspiring ways. These stories demonstrate how grief can produce something remarkable. Loved ones are driven to do something extraordinary in memory of another, whether to work through their loss or to show the world how special the person was to them. But it’s rare to hear about a restaurant being created in honor of someone.
Our family has visited Lorenzo's Way a couple of times, and each visit never disappoints. We absolutely love the Crispy Pusit, Gising gising, Halaan and Buco soup and the Bulalo was perfect as well. My son devoured the Dilis Rice and went back for seconds. Capping off the meal we enjoyed the Mango Panna Cotta. There are so many interesting things to try on the menu, we definitely look forward to coming back again next time!
Decided to dine in this restaurant on the last minute for my dad’s birthday. Impressive as ever. Still in love with their Sinigang with cocon. Bamboo rice has a weird odor but tolerable. Cherry on top was the delicious moist choco banana cake which they gave as complimentary for dad’s birthday.
High-end Filipino cuisine. Not much of a twist, just a classic cooking.
Food - 4. Yum. Authentic.
Place - 4. Cozy, Comfy and Classy. Not intimidating.
Service - 4. Servers are fun, attentive and accomodating.
Price a bit higher compare to other Filipino restaurant. Still would make a great choice.
Fast service we were in and out in an hour but the food was piping hot. Their Lengua was flavorful and fork tender. Honestly, I hate lengua but this was delicious. The main star tpnight was the garlic roast chicken. Its flavors were bursting and I can taste the thyme and rosemary. Nice touch. Kangkong was also terrific. Our server Kenn was very accomodating and fast. Thanks, wish i can give you guys more than 5 stars.
Larry J Cruz proved that you need not be a chef in order to move and influence the world of casual and fine dining. all you need to have is a highly perceptive palate and the indomitable will to make it a culinary reality (much easier said than done). The month of September is when the LJC month is celebrated, serving as a reminder that such feats can be achieved with superhuman taste buds:)
Each year during the month of September the LJC group offers its “gastronomic collection” a set of new dishes which finds its ways in the LJC group restaurant menus even way after the month of feature (some become permanent entree fixtures) .
For its upscale Lorenzo’s Way restaurant chain they featured 2 seemingly familiar and foreign dishes.
Familiar - Pochero Especial
Perhaps the epitome of the category it is in, Lorenzo’s ways version of the Pinoy classic Pochero is a must order if you are a fan of the dish or if you’re just in their restaurant looking for something savoury and satisfying. The best part of their version of Pochero is that they do not use tomato sauce, the pork is simmered in its own rich and savory broth. The natural flavour of the chickpeas and plantains enhance the savoury broth with sweet notes. The dish is a complete meal on its own.
Foreign - Filet of Mahi Mahi a la Provencale
It’s layer upon layer of flavors and textures served in a single plate. You have the sweet, juicy and the crab like meat of the Mahi Mahi Laid on top of creamy and buttery mashed potatoes spread across tomato caper sauce which has a strong and citrusy kick. Best way of enjoying the dish is to go through all the layers with one fell swoop of your fork and taste them altogether.
Given its limited availability (only available during the month of September, for now), I do recommend you try both dishes because you might miss on both.
This September, LJC Group celebrates Larry J. Cruz' birthday and they features LJC Festival of Flavors in which they will bring in 2 new dishes on all their 9 restaurants.
Fillet of Mahi- Mahi á la Provençale – Mahi á la Provençale – served on a bed of mashed potatoes with tomato caper sauce and sautéed shiitake mushrooms. Tomato sauce was on point. The Mahi-Mahi was cooked perfectly.
Pochero Especial – a dish of Spanish roots with a Filipino twist; served with chorizo, saba bananas, and vegetables. My own version was that I used tomato sauce that’s why I’m used to it being deep red in color. This Pochero does not have too much tomato sauce but the taste was still in tact. You can taste all the ingredients in one sip. Definitely a winner to me.
The Good to Dine Campaign is a fundraising project for the benefit of the Cancer Institute of the Philippine General Hospital, through the Andres Soriano Foundation Inc. This campaign aims to help and they will donate Php10 of the price of every featured dish or drinks ordered within the campaign period.
Excited for these truly inspired dishes that showcase the innovative minds of the chefs behind The LJC Group!
✔️Fillet of Mahi-Mahi ala Provencale P495
Spanish-laced in both style and flavors, this dish looks so dressed to impress! Served on a bed of mashed potatoes with tomato caper sauce, and sauteed shiitake mushrooms, the mahi mahi fillet was a bit dry but still enjoyable. The mushrooms added depth to the sauce made of succulent tomatoes and tasty capers. The mashed potatoes were silky and creamy, providing great contrast to the fish.
✔️Pochero Especial P435
A dish of Spanish roots with a Filipino twist; with chorizo, saba bananas and vegetables. The saba bananas lent a sweet after taste to the tomato-based dish, while the chorizo was just the right hint of spicy.

A mouthful that included each ingredient delighted the palate. The sour-salty-rich-tomato (ey) flavor of the red sauce was nicely complemented by the silky, starchy and buttery mashed potatoes. Factor in the succulent mahi-mahi with the sauteed shitake mushrooms and its just crazy how the amalgamation of flavors and textures is bang on.
It was an elegant and simple plate that satisfies the eye, the palate and pocket ...
Lorenzo’s Way Features Some of the LJC Group’s signature dishes. And now they are proudly brings you something new for your taste buds to droll upon.

Pochero Especial
A dish of Spanish roots with a Filipino twist:
Served with chorizo, saba bananas and vegetables.
Lorenzo's Way: Where taste matters
In celebration of the LJC FESTIVAL OF FLAVORS, 2 new dishes will be released on their menu on Sept 5, 2018.
Filet of Mahi-mahi a la Provencale and Pochero Especial will be available.
My verdict:
FILET OF MAHI-MAHI A LA PROVENCALE
(Fillet of dorado fish on a bed of mashed potatoes with tomato caper sauce and sauteed shitake mushrooms)
PHP 495
I love everything about this dish, the presentation, the burst of colors and the taste of course. The mashed potato is so smooth and goes well with the shitake mushrooms, on the other hand I like the combination of the taste of the fish and the tomato caper sauce. I think I would like it better with hot sauce and garlic rice on the side hahaha...
Taste: 4.5/5
Serving size: 3.5/5
Price: 3/5
POCHERO ESPECIAL
(A dish of Spanish roots with a Filipino twist; served with chorizo , saba bananas, and vegetables)
PHP 435
I love everything about this dish, except for the consistency of the sauce/soup. I think I would love it if its a little bit thick. I like that the meat is sooooo tender that it falls of the bone, I did not have a hard time chewing... hehe The vegetables are kind of half cooked but I like it crisp. Though I'm a little bit off with the chorizo, but its ok.
Taste: 4/5
Serving size: 4/5
Price: 3.5/5
So if you'd like a taste of the Spanish-Filipino dish, come and try their dishes. Indulge and savor all the flavors they offer!
HAPPY EATING!!!
We ordered a lot of food but I wasn't able to take a photo of everything. Anyway, to sum it up, all of it were so good, ambiance and service were good, BUT they certainly suck at desserts. You're gonna regret spending on any of it especially Sikreto ni Maria which definitely disappointed me the most. Price is quite high but they provide quality service. And I forgot to mention, the Kamias shake is a bomb. You must definitely try that
Good food and service (staff are very courteous and accomodating). The halaan soup is refreshing. The dinugan is hearty. The adobo is tender.
Pet friendly. They have their own doggie water bowl for furbabies!! Highly recommended.
Service is always exemplary. Friendly servers and very attentive. We were a group of 16 but they attended to our needs very well. Pata tim is the best!
We rented a private space for 15k consumable. We loved the food. But not all. Others were just the typical like liempo, crispy pata and salpicao. But what stood out are, calamares en something. It's like adobong pusit, adobo, sotanghon, and for dessert sikreto ni maria.
When we're here in Manila, we make sure that we eat at this restaurant. We always order the Spanish Garlic Chicken, Rosemary Chicken and Gambas, simple dishes yet very satisfying. We also tried their Bangus Fillet with Kangkong Balachian. At first glance I thought that the dish would taste weird but after the first bite, I couldn't stop eating! The Mango and Almond Panna Cotta on their dessert menu is the main reason why we keep on coming back to this place. I'll just leave this here so you yourself can have a gastronomical experience ♥️
Had a great time with my team mates in this resto. Loved their Kare Kare, Crispy Pata and Bamboo rice. Place is cozy and staff are willing to answer questions. Cant wait to come back!
Lorenzo’s Way brings you to world of best cuisines with a touch of Pinoy flavors. The restaurant is affiliated with LJC Group, the team behind Cafe Adriatico, Abe, Bistro Remedios, Larry’s Cafe and Bar, to name a few.
The restaurant has a modern and elegant set-up. And can accommodate at least 60 pax (inside and outside).
We tried the following when we’ve visited the place:
🐷Asian Vege-licious Spring Rolls for Php195.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“Fried spring rolls filled with assorted julienned vegetables and tofu and lightly flavored with cumin.
🐷Binukadkad na Pla-pla for Php425.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“Butterfield tilapia fish served with Kapampangan fermented rice and fresh mustard leaves”
🐷Abe’s Chicken Supreme for Php990.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“ Chicken stuffed with chorizo, galapong rice, chestnuts and raisins.”
🐷Bulalo for Php495.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“Healthy beef shank and bone marrow in bouillon and vegetables”
🐷Knockout Knuckles for Php695.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“LJC’s version of Crispy Pata.”
🐷Bamboo Rice for Php325.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
“Rice dish with bamboo shoots, shrimps, chicken and wood ear mushrooms.”
All the dishes were served delicous and tasty. I like the crispiness of crispy pata outside and temderness amd juicimess inside. The bamboo rice complement with the Binukagkad na Tapia. The bulala needs to be paired with steamed rice. I am looking forward for another round of Abe’s Chicken and Asian Vegelicious Spring Rolls on my next visit.
Overall, I enjoyed every dish presented and served to us. The service was good and the staff were attentive and alert during our dinner.
#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️
Had a dinner for 2 people here in Lorenzo's Way, and I enjoyed it very much. We ordered Lengua Estufada P485, Spanish Garlic Chicken P395, Gising Gising P285, and Sikreto ni Maria Clara P185 for dessert. The Lengua was the standout, incredibly soft and tasty. The Garlic Chicken was tender but I wanted more flavor so I asked for gravy, and the waiter, Mr. Alson, graciously served it with no charge. The Gising Gising was better than the usual, creamy and with a spicy kick. For dessert the Sikreto was made of Macapuno ice cream and mango, and apparently the secret was suman. Overall it was a pleasurable experience, food quality was great and the service impeccable. Two thumbs up!
Their food taste great! I personally love their Garlic Chicken and Gising-Gising. But in terms of their serving size and their price, I'd give this restaurant 3 out of 5.

5 star food and service. That’s what I can say about Lorenzo’s Way. The place houses some of my favorites from the LJC group and you can request some off the menu as well ( like the Sinuteng Baby Squid) Consistent and delicious, we are happy to come back again and again for the gising gising, crispy pata and our new favorite the Spanish Garlic Chicken
The food is delicious as well as the ambiance that compliment the event we wanted to have for our moms birthday. I really love the Kare-Kare as well as the Spanish Garlic and Rosemary Chicken. Its just that a cup of rice is pricey that we cost almost 1K for 17 cups. Which I guess can already purchase a half sack of rice.. 😂

Good place, a bit of issue with some food, the salsa of the chicken taste like plain tomato paste but the chicken itself taste good. Fruity Tea Frappe is not the drink you want to try if your not open in drinks within the tea category.
Our team's Christmas party made a good impression on the food. The favorite dish was the Beef Caldereta which everyone wanted to have and the Toffee Sansrival is too good to share. So my family had Christmas eve dinner, I recommended Lorenzo's Way for a traditional Filipino meal.
We had the following:@
- Gambas - 👍
- Sabaw ng Halaan at Buko - 👌👏👍 ordered 2 bowls so the clams were too much for 6 people!
- Knockout Knuckles - 👌👏👍 kids fave crispy pata
- Beef Caldereta - 👌👍 not like the previous taste but still quite good
- Bamboo Rice - 👎 don't like taste and smell
- Toffee Sans Rival - 👌👏👍 not too sweet, lots of cashew and buttery goodness
- Café Latte - 👍
Ambiance 👍
Price 👍
Staff 👍
The paella negra set the tone for a great dinner as it was smooth to the pallete. The kangkong lechon though felt a little bit overcooked. The dinuguang pata was just right without the bitterness and was well complemented by the puto. The costillos de ternera guisada tasted great and literally slid off the ribs. We loved the spanish garlic chicken with generous overlay of garlic even if the chicken was just a tad salty. The banana chocolate lava cake was a great conclusion to a great dinner. The staff were polite, attentive and always smiling.
Pancit sotanghon sa baby pusit is one reason why we keep coming back. If you want a family setting ambience this is a good place to go, makes you feel that you are inside an old mansion house from the spanish era. Price range will be P500/person.
A member of the LJC group, their service, food selection and food quality is excellent. Try the gising gising, crispy pata, and their Caldereta.
Love the ambiance during the afternoon... quiet and classic. Loved the flavors brought out from each order that we had! Missing their creamy seafood española and lengua estufada!
Went here for a high school reunion on a Monday night and was surprised that there wasn't much people, but probably it's because of the weekday rush. We ordered their crispy baby squid, bulalo, inihaw na liempo, gising gising, knockout knuckles, kangkong lechon, beef caldereta, lola ising adobo, spanish garlic chix, bamboo rice, sotanghon baby pusit, sigang bangus belly, and kkk. It was too much, clearly. (A friend ordered the food). But on the bright side, I get to review more dishes. The crispy baby squid is so-so, not bad but meh. The bulalo was just fine, nothing to write home about. The inihaw na liempo was a bit fatty but the taste was there. The gising gising was spicy, which is more than I can say for other places' gising gising. The knockout knuckles was a bit dry and quite bony, so there wasn't as much meat as it would look like, so I'm not suggesting this given the price. The kangkong lechon was okay, few pieces of lechon over the kangkong. The beef caldereta was pretty good, the flavor was there and the beef was quite tender. The lola ising adobo is packed with flavor and themeat is soft, go for this. The spanish garlic chix is something I could solidly recommend from the selection. The chicken is flavorful and tender and the garlic was penetrating the chicken, I just wish they skinned the garlic so that I could easily eat the garlic as well. Bamboo rice doesn't disappoint. It has some interesting flavors there, some nuttiness mixed with what I think is an adobo-base sauce. Sotanghon baby pusit is fine, it lacks flavor generally and there are only few pieces of squid but it's not so bad. The sigang bangus belly is pretty good, recommendable. I don't really know what the kkk is, honestly. A friend ordered for everyone. In a nutshell, it's okay, nothing to write home about. I wouldn't mind returning but I'm not going to go out of the way for this.
Aside from the food, the service is really warm and prompt and the interior is well lit and well spaced. It didn't feel too cramped even though there was over a dozen of us, which is no easy thing to do.
Food: 3.5/5
Venue: 5/5
Service: 5/5
Value for Money: 3/5
Solid Filipino food! We enjoyed their: Sugpo sa Aligue, Pinakbet Magalang, Lengua Estufada, Calamares en su Tinta, Spanish Garlic Chicken, Paella Valenciana and their BAMBOO RICE plus their thirst-quenching shakes. Definitely a perfect place to treat the fam bam for some good ol' Pinoy dish. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the great customer service from the staff (they're so attentive and really patient) 😋
I had high expections since its part of the group that owns Abe's. Would the underperforming aircondition and industrial fans dampen our spirits? Good thing food exceeded our expectations. We ordered the crispy pata (fried pork knuckles), gising-gising (green beans in coconut milk). We mixed in appetizers like the beef salpicao and gambas. The verdict. All were sumptous! The tapas were the actual ones that caught my attention. Everything was perfect except for the missing beer which i opted to skip this time. The airconditioning would have been a bit cooperative but it sure won't hold me back for a return.
Walking along High Street, we spotted Lorenzo's Way without a waiting line. I'm surprised they didn't have a line because their food (or at least what we ordered) was good!
We got Knockout Knuckles aka Crispy Pata for ₱625 and it was worth it. The meat was tender and skin was so crunchy, perfectly paired with its soy sauce concoction. We also ordered tilapia (₱399 for sharing) which tasted so fresh and yummy. It wasn't salty too!
Ambience: They have big tables (which I like!!), huge space and a clean restroom!
Going back here again when we're in the area :)
Their lengua estufado is good and so was their spring salad. Binukadkad na Pla-pla was ok because it included buro, otherwise it would be tasteless. Recipe's tilapia is kinda better.
Ambiance and food were perfect!
Gone in 60 seconds! I think we just gobbled up their Baked Cheesy Spinach and La Mancha because we were starving and they were too good to eat slowly! I know that we should've eaten them slowly for the experience. We actually did, for the first few seconds, but after having a few bites, we literally just inhaled them. Haha!
It took them too long to serve our crispy pata and Paella Negra, but they were worth the wait. (Their crispy pata was served a bit cold, good thing that the skin was still crispy.) Anyhow, even their house iced tea was delicious too! Will definitely try their desserts next time. 😊
We were seated on the terrace so we had a nice view of Boni High Street at night. The service and food was excellent. We finished the Binukadkad na Pla-Pla to the bones! I'm a fan of of LJC group so I have high expectations from the restaurant. They never disappoint.
One of the Best Filipino Restaurant I Love going back to!
The ambiance has a classy homey feel once you step inside. Love everything we ordered, from the Sabaw ng Halaan at Buko Soup & Gambas & Lumpiang Sariwa Appetizer, to the main course of Binukadkad na Pla-Pla, Beef N' Reef, SeaFood En Casuela, Calamares En Su Tinta & Costillas De Ternera Guisada & Puso ng Saging and my favorite amongst all the Gigil Tart Dessert that I had to order for take out. Been here twice already and will come back again.
A great Filipino restaurant to try. We ordered famous Filipino foods such as Pata, Bamboo Rice, Kare Kare, Bulalo, veggies and avocado dessert. Staffs are nice and accommodating. We enjoyed eating too!
This is a sister company of Abé's, which serves Filipino dishes. Upon entering, we already liked the classy, laid back ambiance of this restaurant. The staff were ready to hand us out the menus. The food, some were okay and others were really good.
It was the birthday of our friend, so we surprised her with the help of the staff. Funny experience though, because when the staff went out with a cake they yell so loud, they scared the shit out of us. It was so timely, because one of our friend was sharing a scary story when they jumped in on us. It was a really great night.
Love the food in Lorenzo's Way! One my few fave Filipino restos in the metro. All those times I've been were in the BGC branch as it's easily accessible from the office. Their menu has the bestsellers of the local cuisine and so far everything I have tasted is up to my liking! From appetizer of Spring Rolls to soup dishes like Bulalo, down to the entree of Beer Caldereta, Black Pata and Binukadkad na Pla-pla with Gising-gising vegetables on the side, finishing it off with Leche Flan and Espesyal na Turon.... Whew! Heaven!!
I was surprised to like their Paella Negra because it looked dull. It's really good! I also liked their Lengua Estufada and Binukadkad na Pla Pla amongst all. Customer service is poor but tolerable considering we went their past lunch time and we were so hungry. We were able to get a seat right away and food was served in no time. Food is great here but I suggest you skip the dessert, I didn't like the avocado thingy they have. Overall, I will be back here.
Lorenzo's Way is from the famous LJC Group of companies so you know what to expect, nothing but good home-grown dishes!
I panicked when I saw the menu as it was not a good decision to eat at almost 12 midnight! But still the foodie in me reigned.
Conservative ordering is the way to go then...salpicao, callos, garlic chicken with brown rice (healthy kuno!) and la macha soup were all just uber delicious! Left those plates spot clean! And yeah we had some small sweet before going home. Try their Avocado freeze! 😂😂😂
It's my first time here and it captured the premium feel by just looking at the restaurant. I just love how they plate their food especially its taste. Whenever I taste another dish I just want it more. The waiters are attentive too which is equally great for me.
I grew up eating in Cafe Adriatico and Bistro Remedios so I can't help to compare the food here. Lorenzo's way still have that distinctive touch of an LJC resto but it's not as it used to be. The serving is not enough so you might feel "bitin" the Lengua is good but Cafe Adriatico does it best. I'm looking for that certain taste of Kare Kare of Bistro Remedios which I didn't find it here. Still it's a good place to bring your Balikbayan relatives.
We usually don't, but when my Winnipeg-based family are in town, we eat Filipino -- and its Filipino everyday, ack!
What we had:
Baked Cheesy Spinach and Banana Blossom Dip (creamy spinach, banana blossom,
mushrooms and cheese dip topped with roasted garlic and grated parmesan cheese)
KKK - short for Kare-Kare Klab (oxtail, tripe and vegetables in peanut flavored sauce)
Knockout Knuckles (crispy fried pork leg with original fried garlic chili oil)
Gising-Gising (tender kangkong stems cooked with shrimps and coconut milk)
Binukadkad na Pla-Pla (deep fried whole tilapia served with Pampanga style fermented rice
or balo-balo and fresh mustard leaves)
Garlic Rice (because no Filipino dinner is complete without it)
Food were equally palatable except for the Knockout knuckles which were a bit overfried. For me, Bistro Remedios does this best. Service was good and staff are attentive.
Lorenzo's Way is a modern Filipino - Spanish restaurant in BGC. Some of the restaurants best served food are the Beef Salpicao, Gambas, Sugpo sa Aligue, Sweet Chili Mango Tilapia, and their Bamboo Rice. The Bamboo rice is cooked and served inside a bamboo so one can actually taste the earthy flavor of the bamboo and some mushrooms.
I've been here a couple times and being part of LJC's restaurant group it's very similar. Innovative, quality Filipino.
Am rating my experience when I was looking for Halo Halo. So I asked the waiter. Is your Halo Halo different from Mang Inasal's? He goes it has Ube Ice Cream and Leche Flan. I said so does Mang Inasal. I continued I said so it's all the same? He says yes. So I skipped that and found a gem.
I love the Banana Mint Shake they have. It's part of a list of their unique shake creations. Very refreshing, sweetened right with a cool Banana kick. Must have.
Although the Spinach Cheese is quite lost in a Filipino restaurant, we had it for it was a light meal. It was good. Spinach very must present and balance well with cheese. The downside though was bread. We would appreciated crostinis or anything crunchy since they were going Italian here anyway.
Last we had was Claud's Dream. It had a good write up on being the must have and so we fell for it. Nothing that dreamy about it really. It's ordinary Buko Pandan just sweetened too much.
My family and I have been here once; The food was OK and the service a little bit slow. It was during a Sunday Afternoon last December. if you have been walking in BHS and want a place to grab food and don't have a lot of people walking in front of you... this is the place. it's in the second floor and not a lot of people walks thru it.
Lorenzo's Way offers the usual LJC (Larry J. Cruz) restaurant menus from Adriatico Cafe to Abe's to Fely Js. The make simple Filipino food look good and their pretty expensive pricing makes you wonder if it's worth it.
My favorites are the crispy pata (knock out knuckles) with it's abundant crispy garlic and the KKK (kate-kare) with it's nice balance of peanut sauce, oxtail, tripe and vegetables.
The Binukadkad na Plapla was also very good and crispy 'til the very end of the meal, served with mustard leaves and fermented rice and shrimp, buro.
The Pinoy salad of blanched sayote tops, eggplant and ampalaya with green mango and onions and served with vinaigrette and two types of bagoong is ok. I also like the Salad of ubod, ripe mango and shrimps.
Lorenzo's Way is a good as a restaurant gets. Their interiors are lovely, and the crew helpful. The food good, though some order picks are quite skimped in comparison to their price. However, their Paella Valenciana is a must try. Decent restaurant worth a visit.
With a number of restaurants within BGC, it's a bit challenging to choose which are the ones worth coming back. Our team has been a satisfied client of Lorenzo's Way. We keep coming back and even ordering the same food in the menu, some of which are:
Beef Kaldereta which boasts its tenderness..Gising-Gising which has been our all-time favorite. Our lunch wouldn't be complete without it. We also have their Binukadkad na Pla-Pla for the fish-lover in our group, though not a personal favorite. We've also tried their sinful Crispy Pata which is good for 5 to 6 pax. Lately, we tried their Pusit. Despite its serving size's inconsistency, there's nothing to question on how it tastes. The food surely lives up to the restaurant's aim, a reputational and reliable food. Ambience: As always, customer's comfortability is never compromised despite a number of people dining here during lunch. After every lunch out here, I am satisfied with what they can offer, even if we order the same food on the menu. Hehe.

In terms of ambiance, this branch is way better than the one in Greenbelt; this branch having more cleaner and high-end interiors that reveres to the aristocratic Filipino lifestyle.
The food presentation is mouth-watering, as it was served hot and hefty. For the potato chips as appetizer, it was brittle and bland. On the other hand, the garlicky crispy pata has the right kind marinade and of course, crisp. It was perfectly fried because it did not taste burnt or bitter. The baked vegetables is a good one too, its oozing cheese on top of it helps make this dish super succulent.
Service is good here. But they should do something about dem flies... It's annoying and unusual for a fine dining place like this.

We went here for a company meeting along with foreigners and I have to say that the foreigners really liked the taste and presentation of the food. But for us filipinos, I think it was just normal.
You should try their spinach dip appetizer 👍🏻👍🏻
I was there yesterday for a christening's reception. The whole place was rented out. It was my first time there. I would definitely go back and try to dine there on a regular day.
The food:
The beef caldereta- the beef was so soft they fall apart without any effort. And it tastes good.
The "dilis-cious" rice- oh my. To die for. Need I say more?
The espesyal na turon- I cannot find anything "espesyal" about it. Perhaps because it has ube? But it doesn't taste good.
The banana chocolate volcano- being a picky cake eater, I do not like this one.
But in general, the food is good.
The staff:
Very courteous and helpful. One lady staff even approached me and told me they have bag hooks under the table. So ladies, take note. I know some of us appreciates bag hooks. I know I do.
The space and ambience:
Very spacious. Posh. It is bright at noon because they have big glass windows that provide a lot of sunshine. They have their own restroom, with separate ladies and gents. This is a plus since you won't have to walk far to get to one.

Very Filipino. The food is really goood! I mean, really great! Very pricey though but that's fine. The service is Okay. Crews are smiling and very attentive i must say. The place is really cozy especially if you want to chill and think things or just to chit chat with a friend (We dine outside the resto) The cocktails are very good too. Keep it up. 👍
Spent my birthday dinner here today. This os our 2nd time in Lorenzo's Way. First was during our 7th anniv last March. I went here because of their Spanish Garlic Chicken! It's so yummy! We also tried their bamboo rice today! Awesomely yummy as well! What made our dinner more memorable are the staff who entertained our 1y/o kid. Shout-out to Ms. Tina who served us well and played with our kid. Thank you very much! Yummy! As always!
Truly one of the best restaurants in town. Their Rosemary Chicken leaves you at awe with its tenderness. The Leche Flan Royale is truly royal worthy, not to sweet but remarkably appetizing!

This time I tried their Tilapia in sweet mango-chili sauce with mango strips, gising-gising & their Guya-Mango tease for my smoothie! We had a sumptuous meal..we also liked their attentive staff & service with a smile! The ambiance & music that played was nice as well..definitely taste really matters here!☺
My friend and I had our dinner here last saturday.
On ambiance: great
On the service: we got Gea and she was great. everyone from the staff were smilling as we entered
On the taste: It says on their tagline "where taste matters" and i think they really went for it with their super delicious crispy baby squid. I am a super big fan of calamares that even the kanto super unhealthy calamares I always buy but with their crispy baby squid, i really tasted the difference in terms of quality -- it was perfectly crispy and yummy.
However, what I felt that fell a little short in keeping up with their tagline is the paella valenciana. The rice was a bit raw given that they needed 30-35 minutes to prepare for it. I've tried other paella from other spanish restaurants but this was a first.
Considering that paella was supposedly our MAIN dish for that dinner but still recognizing the great staff and superb crispy baby squid, i think 3.5 is just a fair rating.
Conveniently located at the 2nd level of C2 bldg around 7th. Nothing really great but you can expect to enjoy trying out different dishes without hurting your pocket.
Here to celebrate my sister's birthday. The place was cozy, food is great. What caught my attention was their staff. Service was great. All of them were synchronized and all our requests were attended. Great resto
What was good: my favorite was the Crispy Baby Squid. Baby squid fried until crispy, served with a sweet chili sauce. Tender inside, crispy outside, packed with flavor. The Knockout Knuckles was in fact a knockout. It was crispy as should crispy pata should be. And the flavor seeped into the meat which does not happen to a lot of pata dishes from other restaurants.
Neutral: Fried Vege Licious Lumpia had an interesting essence - I only had one bite, so it may have been cumin. It would have been better if the wrap was thinner. The Gising-gising was made from kangkong stalks but I prefer the coconut milk to be creamier. The garlic Spanish chicken was tender, juicy, and had the right combination of saltiness, spiciness, and sweetness (from the roasted garlic).
Could be better: the pinakbet had the veggies, but not much of the bagoong. The sinigang was not made from actual tamarind. The service was also a little slow. Perhaps maybe we were a large group, but I hope they can improve this for next time.
Loved their Spanish Garlic Chicken and their Gambas that comes with bread and butter. Their Gigil Tart was just okay. What I liked also was the outdoor ambiance -good place to hangout with friends.
I Loved the food. Had the crispy tilapia/inihaw na liempo/creamy soup with seafoods/crispy pata. Had the cheesecake. Yummy too. A little disappointed with the chocolate one. Its good but its not that special Will come back for more
Tried out Lorenzo's Way Banana Chocolate Volcano and it is definitely good. The cake is soft and moist and not to sweet as it compliment the caramelized banana on top. A must try dessert.!!!
We were able to try out Lorenzo's Way for late lunch today. We ordered the following:
1.Crispy Squid with chili sauce which was simple and pleasant. The squid was tender with a crunchy exterior then dipped in sweet chili.
2.Hearts Of palm salad. So full of trxture and just the right anount of acidity
3.Kesong puti caprese was pretty good but I like my caprese with a hint of acid.
4.Binukadkad na pla pla w buro't mustasa.Perhaps one of the few places you can have buro. The plapla was nice n juicy but I was looking for a really crunchy profile to a point that one can eat the bones of the fish
5.KKK-Kare kare was pretty good and the veggies were cooked just right. The peanut sauce & the toasted rice profile was balanced.
6.Lola Ising's Adobo-if there is kare kare, there is always adobo. This is adobo made w pork ribs snd super tender and quite crispy outside. We requested for the sauce to be placed on the side so we can enjoy the crispness of the meat
7.Pinakbet Magalang which was a nice version of Pinakbet.
8.Pancit Sotanghon with Baby squid.-This was really good but needed a squeeze of calamansi and perhaps a drizzling of patis. It was squid ink sauce topped with tender baby squid, chicharon & cilantro..
9.Claude's Dream which is buko pandan w macapuno
10.Turon was pretty good and had several layers
had my first taste of Lorenzo's way...spent about 1400.00 for 3 dishes and other stuffs like rice and a slice of cake. I love the Halaan with coconut soup definitely will go back for more....oh and the toffee sansrival cake is to die for..:)
